U.S. Bank

I would give a negative star to this place, and it’s branch manager, Eduardo Escobar. The handling of business is very unprofessional and they do not account for the mistake of their tellers. My visit was met with a very lame attempt to explain why available money could not be used to obtain a bank check I needed to pay for business I was transacting with someone providing services for me. I wasn’t clearly explained why I couldn’t get my already available funds to complete my transaction (later very professionally explained in a five-​ten minute customer service call) but this branch, and Eduardo, the branch manager, made me feel like i was I not welcomed, my transaction issue was my fault, when it was their branch’s representative that made the error, and made unwarranted comments to how I was conducting my business with another person, saying repeatedly that I couldn’t conduct a business off a personal account. This was 1. Not the issue, and 2. None of their business. I tried putting us back on track with the conversation, and when the rude representative that first denied my transaction began talking at the same time, and I stated I was listening to Eduardo now, I was called rude when her interruption was rude and added to the confusion. I was clearly explained what was the error in a customer service call after I was rudely dismissed from furthering the transaction. The call representative was apologetic and explained what I found Eduardo to be smugly too involved in not meeting my request for an explanation to perform. I found it was because I didn’t «look the part» to have the money as the reason why I couldn’t get an explanation thoroughly and clearly explained. This was the bank branch that honored a business check deposited but now wanted to deny their fault in not holding funds for a rule I wasn’t aware of. Like I said, this should be a –5, if I could score it that way.

US Bank stole me away from my previous bank that I was with for 25 years by reaching out to local businesses with account offers. I have since opened 4 more accounts with them. There was some fraud on one of my accounts and they helped me by following up with the fraud department even though they could have just told me to call the fraud department. They are super friendly and always ask about me personally as well as how they can help me.

I have banked here for about two years now. I switched because i got fed up of BofA. I was pleasantly surprised how much more friendly this place was. US Bank doesn’t have as many ATMs but i don’t use much cash anyways. I still can find US Bank in any city. This specific location is really good. everyone there has always been really helpful. plus since they sponsor the 49ers i get cool 49ers stuff here and there. i also have a 49ers ATM card which eveyone complinets me on.

The redheaded Teller or Assistant Manager not really sure what her name is, but she is by far the worst teller I have ever been to. This is not my first time having issues with her. She is rude and really unpleasant. I really wish they would just put her in the safe and lock the door. US BANK in Alameda 2424 Santa Clara Ave Alameda, CA 94 501, is really the best branch i have every been to.
