Chase Bank

Came in around 1:30pm, it is now 1:47pm and still in line. Long line… one teller. Hair on the floor, no variety of tea, windows are smudgy, there’s not enough employees to maintain this place I don’t think. They can do better. But it’s hiring! That’s nice to know.

Almost 10 people in line with one teller on a Saturday afternoon during prime time… Whose genius idea was that? Really?

My hometown bank! Never had any issues with them besides the ATM being down on occasion, but other than that the staff is friendly, quick to help, and definitely know what they are doing!
No matter how long the line is inside you’ll find it to be your turn soon enough, and maybe if your wait is a little longer than you’d have hoped, they stock candy on the tables to keep you happy. ;) From sitting down to talk about your accounts to quick withdrawals and etc, this is definitely my go-​to!

5 people in line 1 cashier. Seriously?

I agree with one of the customer who pulled her account when it was changed to CHASE. I was an American Savings Bank customer for quite sometime which WAMU took over in the 90s then CHASE took over in 2010 and «chased» them away and took over. I did contemplate to pull out my savings/​checking with all these fees they have. I finally have to meet in the middle and agreed with a monthly transfer/​direct-​deposit from my checking to savings just to keep it for a FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT and for my husband to have a DIRECT-​DEPOSIT of his paycheck which in turn a good thing for one thing. However, I’m still scarred with their fees and because they have more branches, that’s the only one that kept me stay with them and this branch is near my home which is 1 STAR…

i just left this location and i usually go to this one because it’s close to my house but this time i went there and they only had 2 tellers there on a saturday ! now i work at a bank as well and we have more tellers working knowing that it is a saturday and it’s a holiday on monday. terrible representation of their customer service .
i had to leave because the line was not even moving.

This place has always been good with the questions and confusion that I have with my accounts.

I came in today to make a payment on one of my Super Serg accounts. I am happy to say that the service is really really excellent. The customer service that they used to to have was pretty sad.
As you walk in you are greeted very politely and offered coffee as well. Jennifer took my payment and has taken it before. Not only is she very professional, she has a great smile and fast service but she knows her stuff. I may open an account here in the near future but for now, I’ll let the Divas use them.

I have a business account and a personal account. I would advise everyone to find a different bank because how they post debits to your account. It is a costly bank.

I first opened an account here when it was Washington Mutual. WAMU was the best! Fast, friendly customer service and FREE accounts. I loved them so much that I opened my business accounts here and also accounts for my kids. All went well for years and years (over a decade!) and I was never charged a dime for keeping my money in their bank.
Enter Chase. Suddenly calls to their 800 number were patched through overseas where the customer service people read from a script and can’t answer questions or help problem solve. not to mention I can’t understand half of what they say between the poor phone connection and their heavy accents. WAMU had helpful, friendly phone reps right here in the USA.
The final straw was when I received notices for all of the accounts that fees would now be charged starting in February 2011. I called the 800 number to see if I could have the fees waived without having to keep zillions in the accounts. Nope. No go.
In order to avoid any fees or service charges, I went to the bank and sat down with a banker and politely explained that if fees would now be charged on accounts I’ve had for over a decade that I would have to close them all. The banker said he was not able to waive the fees and the bank would not grandfather in the free accounts policy that I had with WAMU.
I closed the accounts right then and there…
…or so I thought…
The banker left $ .15 cents in my checking account. FIFTEEN CENTS. Are you kidding? I called the 800 number, was patched through overseas to some foreign land and was not able to get help for this. I called the branch directly and asked them to please close the account. They can’t close the account if there is money in it. I asked them to please take the $ .15 out of the account and pocket it, give it to another customer, toss it, flush it, something. and close my account. For $.15 it’s not worth my time or gas to go back there, sign in, wait for a banker, and then go through the whole closing process again.
But that’s what I had to do. This just confirms that my decision to get away from Chase was the right thing.

I’ve just recently switched to this bank from bank of America and I have to say I like it for the most part. They seem to be crowded in the afternoons but they are open till 6 every weekday which for me is a big plus! I do not like the big glass partitions as it seems a little impersonal to me. One of the reason I picked this bank was of the app they have for the iPhone. I’ve heard they will come out with one for android soon. It’s where u can take a pick of the check back and front and email it in. No more going to the bank to deposit checks! Way to get with technology Chase!

I was with the Wells Fargo Bank every since I was 18 years old. I had a lot of problems with them. Well, my bf signed up with Washington Mutual and he had no problems with them, and so I signed up with Wamu and cancelled my Wells Fargo Bank.
After Chase bought out Wamu, everything went down the hill. The lines are longer and usually 2 — 3 tellers are working and the rest of the staff are bullshitting amongst themselves. If you go on Fridays between 4 — 6 P.M., you’ll be waiting in line for a very long time. So, try to deposit your checks on Monday-​Thursdays.
