the staff is not that friendly. one time I came early, before office hours, they won’t lift a finger to help because office is still closed, but they are already there standing outside the office. Later, I went back, it’s already pas 9 am and the cart is still locked to the post. They knew that I was waiting for it, but no one bothered to unlock it.

Twila is amazing! Wonderful customer service skills, knowledgable, always friendly, always available, and all around the best person at Public Storage (Ashland). I’m very sad that I emptied my storage out today because now I will never be able to see Twila again. But if I ever need another storage unit again I only want to go where Twila is!

Less than 1 star! Negative 100!!! They have rats and all my furniture is destroyed! They would not even offer me a discount on my storage unit!

Unsettling, scary, dark, dank, mildew, moldy water stains against the walls from STORMAGGEDON 2015 that never was. This was not the dream I have every blue moon about being held against my will as a contestant on Fear Factor.
This was my storage unit.
Dressed the part of a HAZMAT team, I carefully turn the timer for the light. With every tick of the timer, I hesitantly walk down the claustrophobic hall, into my storage unit.
SHHHH! Do you hear that?
Goose bumps come over me as I listen to Them! Running, scattering! Patiently stalking my actions in the next unit.
Them…the rodents who instinctually violated my belongings. MY BELONGINGS that weathered my growth in this life.
Plastic, cardboard, that once protected my property ripped to shreds and urinated on.
The white duvet cover reveals tiny prints of the culprits.
This feeling of helplessness runs through me. I unexpectedly zone out, eyes water. Maybe from inhaling droppings and mildew, I don’t know.
I look at my skin and notice a break out, a rash of some sort. REALLY!!! I quickly walk out to examine the rash, get FRESH air and coach myself up.
Realizing I had a time restraint to get the smurf out of there FOR GOOD, I hauled butt and packed the truck while repeating in my head, HARD WORK! DEDICATION!
…and finally, it was over. Weird situation: Random customer moving stuff at the same time I was moving my stuff watched us move our things, and even inquired about certain ITEMS!: |
I personally wouldn’t rent here because I value my belongings.
Staff is professional.

I was in search of a small unit for my move and came along this location which is close by. Twila is very helpful as she set me up with the 5×5 unit, and went through a detailed tour of the procedures and the unit itself. Service was quick and very informative! The location is well kept and clean, and the units are well secured. Overall im happy of the location and Twila’s excellent customer service, Thanks!

Twila is amazing!!! My mom been there for a few months and she’s always so nice and helpful. Every time we come in the office she greets us with a smile. I recommend anyone who wants to receive great customer service and have their items at a safe location this is where you want to store your stuff

They just told us that the rent for our 10×25 space just went up from $ 283 to $ 347… A $ 64 and 82 percent increase. Nope, not about to happen. They must think that because my father is older that he will just accept this. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. All places increase, but over 80 percent in one year?! No way that is going down. Extra Space Storage is less expensive and nicer.
UPDATE: After several months, Public Storage reduced the rent back to the price it was before the increase. The district manager was not helpful. Christina, the regional manager, made things happen! Thank you :).

Nice and quiet location with some of the best prices for storage in the east bay. They always have specials and I got my 20×15 space for a super deal. Never had any issues at day or night and management is great!

Checked out several storage places over a wide area and this one had the best pricing. Was happy to find that it’s a very clean facility and Pwila at the front desk was extremely helpful. I was in the middle of a move and she took time out to help me determine the best size unit. I was ready to just go for the biggest one since I wasn’t sure, but she helped me figure out the best unit for the best cost. Thanks Pwila!

I enjoyed my quick check in, the clean facility and the well secured location. This storage facility has a coded gate, lights, and cameras. The gal that helped me was knowledgeable, friendly and quick!
