Fatte’s Pizza

I’ll be clear, this is not the best pizza in SLO. The prices are reasonable and the can get 2 pizzas for the price of one, though it is not great tasting pizza. If you want delicious pizza go across the street, or elsewhere. If you’re trying to save a buck, this is your place!

Good CHEAP pizza, 2 for 1 is awesome! White sauce chicken and bacon is where it’s at! Open late, and delivers pretty fast. Cool local pizza place, everyone looking fo cheap eats and good food should check it out!

This is probably my favorite pizza place in SLO. The quality is super fresh and tastes amazing and the service is beyond amazing! Super quick at orders and delivery.

It’s not the most amazing pizza you’ll have in your life but it’s still pretty tasty and the 2 for 1 deal can’t be beat! They always deliver pretty fast and everyone has been nice to talk to.

Ordered 2 pizzas around 6:30. Three hours later, it still hasn’t arrived. We called 3 times and each time, they said it’s coming in 5 minutes. It never came. This was our to-​go place for pizza delivery and unfortunately, we will probably never order pizza here again.

My favorite is the Fatte’s special!!! My family loves the Monster Combo!!! The people that work there are pretty nice and helpful. The owners are also pretty nice

Love this place! The pizza is consistent, yummy sauce and crispy crust. I’m an east coaster so I’m very picky with my pizza and I have to say this is one if not the best pizzas I’ve had since moving out here. Price can’t be beat either!

I’ve been going here since I could remember. I grew up getting the family deal (by the way, great deal!) & Personally this is by far my favorite place to get pizza! Sometimes they burn the crust more than desired but it still manages to always hit the spot. Plus where else can you get buy 1 get one free?!

Amazing white pizzas! I ordered one with chicken and mushrooms and had to come back the next day for two more. Please come to LA! It’s too far to drive for a pizza fix!

You most defiantly get what you pay for. I gave this place 3 stars because it’s cheap, and am familiar with Fatte’s Pizza and knew exactly what I was getting. It’s seriously mediocre pizza with bulk over processed ingredients of marginal quality.
If your broke and just looking to strap on a feedbag, this is the spot for you. If your broke and looking for a great pizza at a bargain, it doesn’t exist.

I was a fan until I found a cockroach in the sauce… they did refund my money but YIKES!

Their pizza is pretty good, but we have had issues with customer service. Had delivery guy bring wrong order a few times, they were usually good at coming right back and fixing the order, but it’s still pretty annoying when you have to wait for part of your meal. Have had employees be very rude as well. We used to order from fattes very often. We no longer call them and have found Pizza express to be our new go to pizza delivery.
Sorry fattes pizza but you guys really need to work on your customer service, not just making pizzas!

Fattes is good, for what it attempts to be: Which is cheap, consistent Pizza.
I did like it more when they used to have some aracade games inside, and the different layout, with a place to sit inside and watch people doing their laundry (I’m dating myself here). now, it’s just the hum of the flourescent lights and a take-​out and delivery place (I do feel sorry for their employees though, just because the interior is so depressing).
The only reason I can’t give them 5 stars is sometimes the dough is rather chewy/​hard and they often skimp pretty badly on the toppings. I get it, they are two large pizzas for 14 bucks so I shouldn’t expect the moon regarding heaping toppings, but if you ask for Mushrooms there are hardly any.
The cheese is good (although scarce) and the sauce is good.
Also, after learning what is actually in the white sauce, I have had a harder time enjoying it: Spoiler alert, from what I’ve heard and re-​created it’s Mayo/​Ranch/​Garlic. not Alfredo. Of course, they never claimed it was Alfredo, so I guess I can’t hate on them for that.
They are usually quick, and have been around forever and are mostly consistent, so I have to give them 4 stars. especially when the place across the street (V.H.) has some extremely expensive pizza which isn’t that good compared to Fattes. Just be careful with the white sauce if you are watching your waste line, as you would be surprised how fattening it can be (again, no surprised there, you are eating at a place called Fattes).

I love, love, love Fatte’s Pizza.
First off – Fatte’s sells their pizzas two for the price of one. HOW CAN ANYONE COMPLAIN? Two medium size pizzas (cheese + one topping) for just $ 15. JUST $ 15!
I seriously LOVE their white sauce with chicken pizza. Coming in a close second is their bbq sauce with chicken pizza. GET BOTH, I mean it IS two for the price of one…
They don’t take very long either. I remember going there, ordering, and having both my pizzas ready in about 10 minutes.
Cheap prices, fast service, and delicious pizza. Enough said.

Being a local. I’ve eaten pizza from fattes for the past 10 years. Always been my favorite. Past 3 or 4 times I’ve ordered from them it’s not only been burnt. But the person answering the phone has been rude. If you’re so tired you can’t answer the phone and be decent don’t have the job you do.
I also really don’t enjoy paying for ranch and not getting it. I don’t get paid enough to tip the driver and not even get ranch.

Any place that sells pizza two for the price of one must make one take pause before ordering… though the only reason you should take pause is to decide which pizza you want… twice!
This is pizza at its quickest, most affordable, slightly greasy sometimes but not always, best!
These guys chuck pizza into and out of the ovens all day, they are quick and I think the pizza is great.
The toppings are generous, the dough is slightly thick, which I like and the sauce choices, are all tasty.
When you order ask for one white, one red, or one bbq, mix and match.
There is not really a dining in area, so this is a to-​go spot only, which is okay, though I have a soft spot for pizza places that offer and make enticing the idea of sitting down to eat.

We were hankering for affordable pizza in SLO and decided on Fatte’s for takeouts. First of all, the name is very endearing and they also have very appetizing options with great prices. Two for the price of one?! Really? I was skeptical at first but boy was I surprised!
Our party of 4 decided to go with the large sticky fingers and the garlic chicken combo.
The man who answered the phone was a seasoned pro. After you tell him which pizzas you want, he asked if they are for delivery or takeout and automatically tells you the price and the time it will take for the pizzas to get ready. Very succinct yet courteous.
Of the 4 guys I saw they were all extremely quick on their feet. The pick-​up process was fast and painless. Two guys in the back making the pies. A guy rings up the bill and another get your pizzas. They must be really cranking out these orders because the boxes were stacked up pretty high.
The pizzas were not super-​fancy but they were delicious! They were better than I had expected for the price paid. Ultimately the flavorings were spot-​on. While having the right flavors and tasty toppings, the key for me here is that they are not overwhelmingly salty or with overpowering flavors like some of the popular pizza chains.
Fatte’s got me sold. I look forward to sampling more of their pizzas.

Ordered the sticky fingers but instead of the mushrooms we got the jalapeños added to it instead (pretty good) & we tried the chicken combo with white sauce since everyone was hyping the white sauce on, it was pretty delicious, however I wish I would’ve added jalapeños to this one too. (We like it spicy ;))
3 stars, it was decent pizza. Service was okay as well, nothing to really talk about. They only gave us a few packets of cheese & peppers for 2 medium pizza, we didn’t even eat half of the pizzas & we ran out of red peppers & parmesan. :(
