I think they trade under a false name RADIO shack NO very little to do with radio more computer and cell phones these days dont even stock a right angle BNC plug adapter. Their service on sorting out an account problem on my wifes phone was well handled but radio gear supplies and stock are JUST CRAP sadly misleading name these days.

This is by far the best RadioShack I’ve ever been to. I’m really glad this store is still open. The people here have always been very knowledgeable. There’s another store closer, but I go here as an excuse to eat at the Buffalo Wild Wings next door. Haha.

I went to Radio Shack today intending to purchase a new power cord for my desktop external hard drive. Imagine my surprise when the wonderful gentleman who waited on me immediately said «Well, I can sell you a new one for $ 35, or fix this one for $ 2,» How great is that? But it gets better. After he fixed it and tested it he casually mentioned that the prior customer had left the two little connectors he needed for my broken power cord… and the fix was free! It just doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you so much!

Great service by a staff full of knowledge. Eric the manager is awesome! If the staff doesn’t know the answer off the top of their heads, they will find out the answer for you. Lots of tools and parts too.

I really wanted an iPhone 6 since my iPhone 5 couldn’t hold a charge and it was impossible to find in the bay area. Since my wife and I were traveling down to the central coast I decided to call every place from sf to slo. When I called here Eric was the only radio shack rep to take the time to check and see if he was getting in an iPhone 6 shipment any time soon. As luck would have it they were getting one in the day after I was getting into town. In the store Eric and Luigi were great. Several people came in while I was there dealing with my upgrade and they were super-​patient with everyone and did their best to give everyone their due attention even though it got very crowded at times. I would highly recommend going here, these guys are awesome!

I go in here occasionally when I can’t wait for Amazon to ship something to me. There’s always two guys at the counter selling cell phones and a line of people with merchandise in hand waiting to get rung up… as in… you know, give them money???
The last time I was in there one of the guys did come up for air and ring us up finally, while the cell phone customer fondled the phones a bit more, but good luck if you need help somewhere else in the store.
I miss Mid State Electronics. It shouldn’t take 15 minutes of waiting in line just to pickup a couple of relays and some solder.

Radioshack opens on time at 9:00am on Sundays! Good selection of electronic and audio components if I need a part right away. Staff is friendly and the store is very tidy.

Atascadero, CA
This Radio Shack is a bit hidden in the south west part of the giant mass of stores on Madonna Road. That said, I have encountered nice helpful people on several occasions and the usual good mix of Radio Shack stuff.
