Very expensive. I realize this is a consignment store not a thrift store but still, not a good value either way. Kind of seems unorganized as well, the few things I was interested in were not priced. When I asked the price of a pretty worn patio set I was shocked when they said $ 550.00. The condition of it did not warrant the price. Best part of the shop is the sweet Labrador walking around.

I have found some great pieces of furniture from this store. I found my dining room table and chairs here, which were perfect for my space. I have gotten some other miscellaneous stuff as well. It can be hit or miss(as with any store) but you never know what you’re going to find!

First, from the vantage point of a consumer, Zoey’s has really fun furniture and a great selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. Yet while I would recommend them to a buyer, they do not favor the seller. Here are the facts of my/our experience: I called to inquire about consigning a set of leather reclining sofas from Ashley, owned by my fiancé. We were ready to move in together and our new place was too small for them, and he was sad because he luuuuved them. I sent an email with a picture and all info from Ashley website(he sofas are still sold full retail price at Ashley). I was told that these guys would sell very well! And that if they were in great shape(they were like new) could be listed for $ 2,400 or more and we would get half of what they sold for. Solution! We decided to pay Zoey’s $ 200 to pick them up and while they were there they also took another Ethan Allen coffee table off our hands for consignment. Score. We were told that the best sellers in the store are anything leather and anything reclining. My guy was so happy he would recoup some money on the sofas he loved and was actually still paying off at Ashely! We signed the contract and were given our seller’s number to log in and track the sale so we knew how much the item sold for, and when, so we would know to go pick up a check. I logged into the website the very next day, curious how much the sofas were going to be listed for(banking on the«or more» statement) but nothing was listed. The second day, nothing listed. The third day, nothing listed. The fourth day – our items were listed. The table was listed for $ 200something and it said«Sold» next to the recliners which were listed for $ 1200. I went down to the store immediately because I was a little confused – did they sell for $ 1200, or were we getting $ 1200 from the sale? My confusion turned to bewilderment when I was given a $ 600 check – for both recliners, which they originally said they could sell for $ 2,400 or more! At no point were we given the opportunity to decide if we wanted to contract with Zoey’s for such a low price – we decided to contract based on what we were quoted! My guy was crushed, with good cause, and took up a grievance with Zoey’s. He did get another $ 150 back, but still, we felt extremely taken advantage of, all things considered. We might have done something else with the recliners had we known we were going to have them sold for us by someone else for so little! If they are that popular, how about trying to sell them for more?! I mean – ?! The coffee table never sold, but I kept checking on the consigners website and never saw the price change to indicate that it was getting marked down periodically to help it sell, and I really don’t imagine they were trying to do us any favors. We had pretty much washed our hands of them by that point. I would never want to support this business again in the future by selling or shopping with them based on this experience. Entering into a contract should be based on a mutual agreement by both parties, in which everyone is fully and clearly informed of the details – especially the hard numbers involved, not just the protocols and policies. We were lead into signing a «blind contract» which I think is extremely unfair, shady, and in this case it lead to not only a bad outcome for us financially, but also emotionally. Furthermore, Zoey’s did something, but very little, to make it right in our eyes. Boo.

Great customer service. We went there for the first time today looking for a nightstand. After digging through the store, the owner saw us and asked what we were looking for. And helped us look. We found a piece that was going to be discounted in a few days, and he got the price knocked down today.

Plenty of parking, some good stuff. Prices were decent, but I didn’t see any real bargains.

Wow what a bunch of thieves! This place reported that they could not sell a piece and I had made arrangements to pick it up. Then when I arrived they took a ridiculous offer on the piece. While I can’t prove it I am sure about the owners interest in the piece and he was clearly in the market to take it. I was given the amount of only two pieces and they took the amount of the third. When they came to my home to pick up the furniture the owner came and started tossing around my tv and other expensive electronics and was a rude jerk. His helpers were especially apologetic! Would never recommend!!!

When my clients are downsizing they often have nice pieces of furniture that they don’t need. I have had terrific results in getting these items sold by Zoey’s. I also had a client go in just this last week and she found the perfect small table to put by her chair. I highly recommend this store.

Zoey’s is where it’s at! Inventory changes pretty consistently, and if you keep an eye on a piece that you like, over time the price decreases. Sometimes they even have a little outdoor«Free» table which I love! I always seem to take something home from Zoey’s. Beautiful open space, tons of stuff to look at, friendly employees. A++

I’ll be honest, I was excited to come here. It’s like a furniture garage sale right? Maybe so, but it’s of the garage sales you keep driving by, and not stop. The idea of how they work is awesome though. The sales ticket on the item has multiple prices that keep going down by date. So if you like something, wait a week and if its still there the price will have gone down significantly. I probably should go there again to see if they turn over their merchandise well and get new stuff in frequently. The place was pretty packed.

I was traveling through SLO(one of my favorite places to visit) and happened upon this peach of a store!!! Being a fan of the random fab find, I found this place to be full of them! The cleanest, most organized consignment store I have ever been to as well. And the people there were amazing too. didn’t feel pressured to buy anything and wasn’t ignored. What a lovely way to spend an hour or two! Just do it!
