A Quiet Place Floatation Spa

Love this place, from the second you walk in the door you are treated like you are the most important person out there. So relaxing and having your pod in your own private room with a shower is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place and buy these as gifts too! Even if you can’t swim, you will be fine in these pods!

Floating is rejuvenating, one of the best things I’ve done for my body! It’s a great spa experiece from the start. Richard is warm and pleasant, quick to greet with a cup of tea. I love easing out aches and pains in the warm, epsom salt water. I highly recommend floating.

I can’t begin to describe how relaxing and detoxifying the experience was for me and my wife. We came from LA as we had heard wonderful things about the spa and Mr. Fraccalvieri’s soothing presence and knowledge about health, body and mind. .It was well worth the drive!

I arrived in street clothes and brought a duffle bag that had my swim suit along and a few other miscellaneous items that are always in my duffle … well not only did he ask what was in my bag but also insisted to search through it. He said something about making sure I didn’t have electrical devices. I don’t know if he thought i was trying to steal trade secrets or like I was gonna plug in a radio and hop in the tub with it. I thought was real odd, rude and embarrassing. After that I really couldn’t enjoy my float I was so distracted by that incident. So I guess don’t bring bags it makes him paranoid.

This is the absolute best. This is a nice, safe place to relax and detox for an hour or so. Richard is a cordial and considerate host, and the equipment works well and does the job nicely. I highly recommend this to any and all interested parties. I was driving down from Orange County to do this with my local lady friend, but since I’ve moved to Carlsbad, it’s better than ever.

I discovered this while in Carlsbad on vacation. It was an experience like none other I’ve had. Very relaxing to the point of just shy of a deep sleep. Maybe what I’d pictured hypnosis being like. I was a little leary f what I was in for but enjoyed the initL experience so much I signed up for another session before leaving. It’s total relaxation! Richard is the owner and a pleasure to sit and chat with. San Marcos area is fortunate to have this experience as they’re few and far between.

Brought a group on for float and was not to sure what to expect. Richard the owner was very welcoming and is truly a down to earth guy very humble. After my hour in the float I came out relaxed clear and free. I have not relaxed like that or stayed still for that long in a very long time. I will definitely be visiting Richard again. Highly recommend this to anyone.

I just had my first visit. So relaxing. I suffer from many pains,; back, neck, hip. I have chronic numbing in my feet. I noticed right away that the numbing ceased about 50% and after a week I still have less numbing. I plan on making this my treat every month. Results are better than a massage.

Initially pulling up in the parking lot you might think «hmm this place is a little rinky dink?» But the moment you walk into the door, you’re relaxed. Beautiful atmosphere and very calming. The décor is quaint and exactly what you would want if you’re going somewhere to relax and rejuvenate.
Richard knows exactly what he’s talking about and he’s so friendly. I felt welcome, safe and cared for. And I guarantee he treats all of his clientele this way.
The rooms are so clean and everything is provided in such a way that you feel at ease. The tea you receive after the float helps to just enhance your experience.

Richard, the owner introduced me to a wonderful first experience. Such a warm and inviting, pleasant feeling as soon as you walk in.
This was a random walk-​in for me. He immediately brought me to a therapy room, showed the float spa and quickly gave me a run down on what float therapy is. After the quick intro, he sat me down, gave me an iPad to watch his 5 min introduction video, provided some honey water then was ready for this new experience.
You take a shower before entering the pod.
Once you enter, it’s a whole new world, a different and unique way to meditate, to heal, to relax.
The experience of floating in water cannot be explained. You really just have to experience it on your own and you can create your own story about your experience.
After the hour session, we had a group discussion (myself, Richard, and another client) on the experience.
The feeling was amazing. I felt so rejuvenated, refreshed, ALIVE!
I highly recommend trying this as an alternate way of physical and spiritual healing. I for sure will be coming back again.

I enjoyed this much better than a massage, or trying to meditate on my own. Such a neat experience. I felt like I was floating in outer space. The entire rest of the day and night I felt amazing. I will be back.

I am so glad I decided to give the float spa a try! I love that each time I «float», it keeps getting better. I went for the first time as a forced «time out» from my hectic life and it’s now become my go to place to recharge myself and find inspiration for what’s next! As a Holistic Health Coach, I highly recommend it! In addition, Richard is fantastic too! He is welcoming and takes time to explain everything. I find our conversations insightful and informative and I’m always learning something new about health and wellness. I’ve just purchased another 8 sessions to have on hand and use as I need them. I love the flexibility too! I’m glad I took the leap of faith and gave it a try.

On 2÷10÷2015 I suffered a severe knee injury while running with my young labrador in an agility competition. An MRI showed a torn meniscus caused by osteoarthritis and I was told surgery was the only option if I wanted to run again.
I had a float on 2÷13÷2015 and walked out pain free. Two weeks later I had another float and with the help of a knee brace was able to run again.
Last week my surgeon, after examining my knee, advised me to try running without the brace and cancelled the surgery.
The floats continue to make it possible for this 70 year old to enjoy an active, pain free lifestyle without expensive surgery and medications.

Joe Rogan sold me after watching his bit on YouTube about his experience. My experience here was relaxing. The service was great. My skin felt incredibly soft and clean afterwards.
I did get salt droplets in my eyes every 10 – 15 minutes so it was hard to get completely submerged in the whole experience, but they provided a water bottle to spray your face and I thought the tub could have been a little bit cleaner. Other then that, I would do it again!

I would love to float as I have had spinal surgery and suffer from a horrible case of fibromyalgia. Everything about this place seemed wonderful when I went in but when I was finally told the price to try a 1 hr. Float o had to leave. This is even more expensive that a massage, and all you do is float, no masseuse to pay.
Hopefully this will eventually come down in price so the ill who can’t work because of their disability will be able to benefit from this.
I wanted to come on and at least review how wonderful the staff was to me. Maybe I can float for my birthday this summer. As one of the reviews said I would love to reduce my meds.
