The food was super hot and fresh and very tasty they did not roast the cashews that were on it which was a little disappointing but otherwise it was excellent I definitely recommend coming the portions are huge

Ordered food at 7:10pm it’s 9:59pm and it’s still not here. Called to ask where my delivery was and they said it went out with one other delivery and it should be here any minute at 8:30. Called back at 9 and they said it’s out for delivery and they’ll give me 20% off IF I still want it. No!!!

Horrible. It tasted like leftovers. It was almost like they cooked it earlier in the morning or the day before and warmed it up in a microwave when I ordered it. Greasy too, not good.

Came here on a really busy Tuesday night and had to wait for a good bit. I feel like this is one of those restaurants where you would benefit a lot from calling in an order and then going to pick it up because we had to wait awhile to order. We ordered to go and my sesame chicken came out pretty fast. From there we waited like 30 minutes for my friends food to come out. People who ordered after us got their food faster so we went to find out what was up and i guess they just forgot to make my friends food. The girl up front was really apologetic about it and made sure we didn’t have to wait much longer. They even put some complimentary cookies in our bag as a sort of apology for the wait. I’m always a fan of when businesses go out of their way to try and fix their mistakes so I really appreciated that. The food was really good and It wasn’t super expensive or anything. Still 3 stars though because at the end of the day it took almost an hour to get 2 plates of food and that’s not cool.

This restaurant exists only because of their location, which is a rock’s throw away from the university. Well below average food and service; although the hostesses do a good job of sounding pleasant over the phone. If visited, it should be purely out of convenience, not to treat yourself

Favorite delivery spot! Food is always fine and fast service! They always have great rice noodles and good egg drop. They just never give you silverware. Oh well still good.

Asian Garden is good for a college student. It’s better than Panda Express and offers a large menu of delicious items. They also deliver! I like coming here because they give you a lot of food and it tastes pretty good. I’d recommend the orange or sesame chicken.

Wish I could give lower than 1 star. Just went in to have dinner, ordered orange chicken and immediately asked if I could switch to sesame(the order had only been in for 10 seconds.) they said no problem since they hadn’t even started. When the food came to the table it was in fact orange chicken, I apologized since my change is what caused the confusion and they said they would change it to sesame for me. The chicken came out again about a minute later and when I took a bite I realized it was the SAME orange chicken I had just sent back but with a little sesame sauce and a ton of seeds on top. I did not like it when it was only orange chicken so why would I like it when it was orange chicken with a little sesame? As someone who works in the food industry I am shocked and disgusted at the lack of customer service and just laziness of the staff. I will NOT be returning.

Let me start out by saying that I am a little sick right now, so my perceptions of taste may not be entirely accurate, and I will be updating my review once I try this place when I’m completely healthy. I had the orange chicken combo with steamed rice, which was delicious and super crispy and just the right amount of spicy. I prefer steamed rice to fried, and this rice was great with duck sauce The egg roll that came with the meal was pretty good. It’s not the best one I’ve ever had, but it’s still good. The only downside was the rangoons. That’s usually my favorite thing to eat at a Chinese restaurant, and the ones here just aren’t great. Honestly, if I hadn’t gotten the rangoons, I would’ve given this place 4 – 5 stars, but the weird flavor of them just brought this place down a star or so. If you want okay-ish entrees but great rangoons, hit up Wok and Roll. If you want really good entrees, then come here.

It’s one of those places where you order from when you don’t feel like getting off your couch and are craving greasy fattening food out. Plain and simple, it hits the spot. The prices are awesome. 2 combination meals plus extra egg rolls plus crab rangoon or spring rolls all under $ 30…I’m all for it. We’ve only had it delivered, so I can’t comment on the actual restaurant.

BEWARELADIES!!! My daughter who attends TXST ordered take out this past Sunday evening. The delivery guy complimented her nails and nail color, as she signed the receipt he bent over touched her feet, toes and legs inappropriately. She was caught off guard and was not sure what to do except run back into her dorm building and call home. Her boyfriend called and complained to the manager, John and he did nothing about it. A few hours later when her father found out, he called to speak with the Manager as well. 1st Megan came to the phone then she passed the call to John. John said«I know her boyfriend already called». When my husband asked what was going to be done about this and he wants to speak with the driver, John said the delivery guy was out delivering. So Management knew about this complaint and still did nothing and sent the driver out to deliver. Be careful with the wierdo freaks this establishment hires.

An update, I ordered their broccoli chicken for delivery and it was surprisingly disappointing. No flavor, the chicken was bland and the fried rice was sub par… Quite disappointing as i am a big fan of AG, and because it cost me $ 15(including a 3 $ tip).

Not sure why Wok & Roll has better reviews than this place. The food here is great — good quality and very large portions. Wok & Roll just has cheap food that tastes like the kind you buy at the grocery store and microwave. The food is fresh and almost as good as my fave place in Austin. So glad I found it.

Even for Chinese food this is pretty mediocre. The food lacked flavor and there was almost no chicken in my order. Disappointed, won’t be returning.

I love the shrimp fried rice a lot! This probably my favorite thing off of the menu. I would recommend it.

Update on review: I recently went online to find their website again, and stumbled upon several articles from about a year ago that detailed how the owners had been busted as part of a human trafficking ring. Arrgghhh! Regardless of how much we’ve enjoyed the food, we won’t support them again unless we find evidence that the current operation is being run ethically. Other folks may choose differently, but we tend to «shop our politics.» Original review: Wow, I keep seeing all these really bad reviews, and wondering(thankfully) why my experiences have been so different! I’m not an expert on Chinese food, but I have lived in some of the major food cities in the US. We’ve only ever had the seafood /veggie items, but they’ve all been good, several times. Crab Rangoon usually has light, flaky crust, shrimp has a nice«pop» to it(and tastes fresher than some of the shrimp I’ve prepared at home), and the vegetables are cooked with a nice balance of soft and crisp. The portions are always generous, with just the right ratio of rice to protein /sauce /vegetables. Delivery time is usually between 45 – 60 minutes… As long as your expectations are reasonable and /or you’ve had a snack, you should be good to go.

First i never give full STARS etc. for anything Nothing is ever perfect. Ok having said that now to the review. I ordered a mini buffet for my watching football. We had chicken lo-mien, fried rice, sticky red ribs(my new fave), spring rolls, and orange and sesame chicken. With tip it wasabout 50 $and 6 people ate and there was still leftovers eveything was hot and cooked just right. All in all my first delivery from this AG was pertty darn good i dare say my new fave place i only wish the orange and sesame chick would hav been crispy but i guess if i want it fresh from the pan i need to get up and eat it there very delicious non the less. Already planing the next home buffet menu.

Great place for Late Night Chinese take-out! I’ve ordered from here dozens of times with no complaints. Portions are big and delivery is fairly Quick! Sticky Red Boneless Ribs are my favorite Go-To meal with Shrimp Fried Rice… PLUS they use the traditional Hollywood-style To-Go Chinese Boxes!

A friend tipped us that they had $ 5 lunch specials. Being poor college students, my friend and I decide to eat lunch. Everything on campus costs $ 7 minimum for a decent meal, so a $ 5 dollar meal sounded awesome, plus we wanted Chinese. We were greeted immediately walking in. The décor was cute, oriental, actually all kind of went together. You walk in, order, and pay before sitting down. The tables were a bit of an eye sore tbqh, but if we’re being real, I didn’t really expect much from a restaurant right by campus to begin with. If they have cheap food, I’m ready to give anything a try. I ordered Orange Chicken, with my choice of crab ragoon(over a spring roll), and steamed rice(over fried rice). The food took a while to come out, so don’t eat here for lunch if you’re in a hurry. Also, the food was served on styrofoam plate, with plastic dinnerware. I didn’t enjoy that fact too much. The food arrived piping hot. Had to wait awhile before I could bite into the Orange chicken. The taste was good, but mediocre good. The Orange Chicken didn’t stand out as unique, and it tasted like Panda Express’ Orange chicken. The steamed rice had some dry hard patches in it. The Crab Ragoons were JUSTAMAZING. They looked like crap in presentation, no shape at all, but tasted sweet. Not sure if I tasted crab, now that I“m thinking about it, but whatever is in it will have me ordering it again. As my food didn’t have any nutritional value in terms of vegetables, I naturally accepted how crappy I felt after eating such crappy food. Since the food is cheaper than eating a decent meal on campus, I will be coming back to try their other lunch specials. I see potential here for me to love this place, so I’ll give this place a try a few more times and see how I feel then.

With all the«meh» reviews, we weren’t expecting much, but have come to the conclusion that they must have a new chef. Both times we’ve visited, we ordered a range of dishes, from chicken to beef to vegetable, and all were good. The white sauce had a smoky flavor, and the veggies were crisp and fresh. The meats and noodles were fresh, well-cooked and presented, and we could only eat about half of what was ordered. Hello, leftovers! They make all their food to order, from scratch, so it isn’t sitting around somewhere waiting for a microwave to save it. It tastes like home made. I like that. If you dine in, don’t expect much in the way of ambience. Basic tables and chairs, basic decorations probably left over from another restaurant somewhere in the past. Kind of kitschy, but it’s all about utility. They were doing a brisk business in delivery/take out when we were there, and their minimal dining staff was splitting their time taking orders and cleaning the dining room. The one thing that bugs me about this place is that all their plates, cups and utensils(except the bamboo chopsticks) are styrofoam, which doesn’t recycle. Yeah, I live in Austin where we pay attention to these things, but it wouldn’t hurt to use paper take out containers and to have real plates and utensils for people dining in. The menus can be confusing as well, because if you order from the wall menu, you’ll get one combination of items, and if you order from the menus at the counter, you’ll get another. They have a huge number of dishes, but if try a few and figure out what you like, it makes ordering easy.
