Awesome tacos!!! I’ve had better gas station tacos but these are also really good. Their beef quesadilla is delicious, but I don’t recommend the burrito arre arre – not worth the price and it’s incredibly messy to eat. Either way, really good.

Hand’s down the best breakfast tacos in San Marcos. We got a recommendation for this place over a year ago, but hit them during a rush and were dissatisfied overall with the experience and didn’t go back until recently. Our daughter once again raved about this place, so we decided to give it another shot, and oh… my…god, so good. The sausage, egg, and cheese tacos are fantastic, with generous amounts of sausage and cheese for just a couple of bucks. Don’t be put off by this being inside a gas station, they make the tacos fresh in the back-right corner where there is a small grill and counter(but you order at the gas station register). On top of everything else, they are open 24 hours a day. We did not need to know that we could get delicious tacos like this any time.

Best kept taco secret in San Marcos. Can’t go wrong with any of these tacos. Can’t stop recommending this place to anyone living or going to San Marcos.

The tacos here are authentic, they’re made fresh in minutes right in front of you and they’re less than $ 2. My point is you don’t have to choose between cheap, good and convenient. Haven’t tried their plates yet, but seriously, don’t bother going to the mediocre expensive tex-mex places around town for breakfast.

Delicious food! I find that I am always craving Bobcat Quickie. The go-to place for food that will satisfy your authentic Mexican craving. I always get gorditas and my husband always gets quesadillas, as they are both so filled and big and also generously cheesy! All at a reasonable price. This is the spot for late night cravings, as college students near-by tend to resort to after a night out. The main chef, Nico, is amazing and so hard working so don’t forget to thank her when you grab your scrumptious meal! Nomnomnom.

BIG tasty tacos! Generous amount of fillings… very generous! I’m a big dude & one taco was Enough. Plus they are made to order, not like other gas stations that have pre-made tacos sitting under a heating lamp. Its soooo close to campus too! Check it out! I recommend the Chorizo, potato, & cheese! I’ll definitely be back!

Bobcat Quickie is my favorite taco place in San Marcos, period. My favorites are the bacon, potato, cheese and the Shawarma/Kebab(an Arabian rotisserie wrap with chicken/beef and vegetables — only available on weekends). Never thought I would frequent a gas station for tacos, but in all seriousness, these are probably the best tacos in San Marcos, Lolita’s placing a close second. The chef Miss Nico, and the folks at the counter are friendly, and informative. I would call their phone number before going, as their hours are somewhat odd. They are open from 8 pm — 2 am every day, but calling to see if the kitchen has opened never hurts!

I went back to check on an earlier assumption. The tortillas I saw them making were corn. The flour are brought in. Curious. Still awesome tacos.
