Cal Bear Construction

We were referred to Kyle at Cal Bear Construction through a friend. We were selling our house and had to have some termite damage repaired as well as 2 small spots of dry rot. Our friend referred us to him after she heard we had 2 high bids quoted that we also thought were to high in price. Our friend gave us Kyles mobile number and he came out the next day.
Kyle utilized the termite reports we’d received to give a bid to repair the termite damage. Since we didn’t sign with a company yet to have fumigation services he referred us to his friend Lucas, what a blessing, Lucas met him out at our old house and gave us a bid to fumigate $ 475 cheaper than the previous 2 companies. The fact he has such amazing professional contacts in his back pocket was fabulous!
When Kyle gave us our bid it blew us away! He was about $ 850 cheaper than the 2 quoted wood repair prices.
His work was awesome! All of the work was done to look like nothing ever happened to the house, he used rough sawn wood on the fascias like what the house was built with, there was a 6 foot section that was previously repaired 8 years ago when we bought our house around and they used normal wood and it never matched or looked good. This mismatch bothered Kyle and he couldn’t believe that someone else would do work like so instead of replacing an 8 foot board 5 feet away from the ugly repair he replaced and entire 16 foot piece of rough sawn wood at no extra charge because he didn’t want people to think he did that.
He is an absolute professional and master at what he does, best part is there were no hidden charges or add ons like the other company said might happen. He’s also a perfectionist unlike other contractors we’ve worked with.
He was straight forward, honest and to the point, he got us through escrow cheaper and easier, plus our Real Estate Agent now uses Kyle and his friend Lucas regularly.
I will tell you I refer Cal Bear Construction any chance I get.
