Called customer service after going here to inquire about their credit card surcharge. The employee in customer service laughed at me! When i asked why she laughed she said«because i can»! Transfered to a supervisor who did not care at all, did not apologize at all. I will never go to this carls jr or any other location ever again.

Horrible service. Waited for order taker to wait on me was around 10 mins. from walk in. Then ordered the Breakfast Burger and French toast sand. ordered extra cheese on both. when handed order i always put salt and pepper on the Brk fst burger. and opened it up and the bottom bun was smashed and scrunched on burger but did have extra cheese. took back to order taker and he said sorry and said they would make me a new one. The second one did have a nice bun, salt and pepper then noticed only one slice of cheese. I needed to hit the road, so i just left. NOT A GOODEXPERIENCEANDWONTEVERGOTHEREAGAIN. YESTHEYDIDCHARGEMEEXTRAFORCHEESE. The CARL’S in Gila Bend, AZ. was great … Never charged me for extra cheese and always put taco sauce on it. Victor G. said they don’t have taco sauce. Closest drive thru near my house with faster line then McDs so unless they have their drink special I come here for my quick drive thru’s when I need a snack or drink before or after running errands. When I do order the food I will sometimes try the new burgers or my old fall back the Western Cheeseburger and the reason it gets three stars because it honestly has to do with who is on shift. I have had really good and really bad. So average, but my reason will keep me coming back for swoops.

Let’s get this clear, I ordered a sandwhich by itself and a large combo to share with my ladyfrienn. Here’s what I got. A sandwhich by itself exactly how my ladyfrienn ordered it and I got my large combo down to the bun correctly except one major essential item the freaking beef patty. I ordered loudly and clearly through the intercom in drive thru and after payment and getting our meals we decided to eat inside. From the gate the cashiers were staring us down which I seemed quite odd, but ignored them otherwise. After eating a quarters way through my meal I said man this is good but I feel like there isn’t any beef and sure enough I opened it up and no patty! Immediately I headed up to them and they gladly began to make me a new burger, but my gf insisted get your money’s worth and let’s go. They gladly refunded me and off we went. I hope this isn’t periodic, they’re actually a great burger joint. Get your heads on right!

If I could I would rate a negative star. First time ever coming to this lactation my food was cold and nasty I called and told them they didn’t care. Few weeks go buy by son was begging for chicken stars so I went one more time to see. Hoping the first time was the only time. Second time I had no complaints I just asked them to make it fresh due to cold items last tjme. No problem. Well I went for my 3rd time tonight just for a kids chicken stars. I was stuck in the line for over 50 mins b4 I had to ask 4 cars behind me to back up bcuz their was still about 8 cars jn front of me. It was a joke. I don’t think I would return again. Does not seem right how long it takes for food to be overturned?.

Rude cashier. Was annoyed that she had to take the order. Got the order wrong. 20 minutes to make a burger. Missed a burger on the order. Took another 5 minutes to produce the chicken stars. We had to leave so one kid didn’t get a meal. WTF? I am for raising the minimum wage so fast food can hire quality people. Told the cashier she sucks and that I would call corporate. She told me to go ahead. I did and you still suck.

They charge extra for using a credit card. I’m sorry, it’s the cost of doing business. And they don’t warn you they are charging extra! Avoid this place. Your food isn’t that good that I would accept this kind of BS service. Enjoy your extra 0.40 for the hidden charge. I won’t come back. I hope it was worth it!

Even tough my drive through orders where not correct. I always call ahead and let them know of ther mistacke and let them know they need to pay more attention to detail. I would stil come back because i like the deal of the breakfast sandwitches.

«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» sums it up nicely… I’ve never actually eaten inside here, but have driven through a few times. The employees at the drive through weren’t particularly rude, but were more interested in laughing and conversing with their co-workers instead of making sure I had what I wanted… this isn’t an isolated incident here — it seems to be the case on every visit. The last meal I got here was below average. I ordered the $ 6 Western Bacon combo. The burger was overcooked and dry; the onion rings were terribly overcooked and as hard as rocks; the BBQ sauce was absent. The fries tasted old, and unlike the burger, may have been undercooked. I like Carl’s Jr. generally, but I don’t think I’ll be back to this particular location.

I’ve had problems with this store in the past. They put BBQ sauce instead of ketchup on the breakfast burger all the time. Yuck. Then tonight I ordered a chicken tender sandwich which was small and so overpriced that I will never order it again; just wasn’t worth it, and not very tasty. We had to repeat our items we ordered cuz she just wasn’t paying attention. They forgot my zucchini, Ranch dressing for the zucchini and my daughter’s chicken stars, and a fork for my husband’s chili fries. All this was done by the manager on duty. Won’t be back for a while after all this.

This Carl’s Jr. has wonderful service. For the service I received they deserved a five star rating because they were really professional. My girlfriend and I drove through late at night and ordered through their drive-thru. The gentleman that took care of us was very efficient and had a great, professional attitude. The only reason I didn’t give a four or five star rating was because this was the first time I have ever eaten at a Carl’s Jr. that I couldn’t finish a medium French fry. Why? Well, because they had so much oil, or seem to have been sitting in the fryer that I felt like they weren’t freshly made or that someone put way too much oil on them(more than they normally do). I actually felt sick the next day and wasn’t sure if it was the fries or something else. I will be back at some point though since the service was friendly, professional, and courteous when it is more common at fast food establishment to find people who seem to hate their lives.

Deceptive Charges I purchased a Monster Breakfast sandwich using my debit card and they charge me a 39 cent«service charge» to use the card even though there is no cost to the merchant for using a debit card. California law specifically prohibits retailers from charging a fee for credit cards but debit cards are a gray area, and as per the the law this store does not charge such a fee. However the California Attorney General says this: «The law that prohibits surcharges, but allows discounts, does not offer details on how the discounts must be disclosed or how large they can be. The law also doesn’t specifically mention debit cards. However, California law does prohibit a merchant from engaging in activity that is unfair or deceptive. So, for example, if the cash discount option is not fully disclosed prior to your committing yourself to the goods or services, or if it does not clearly explain the merchant’s policies regarding debit cards, the merchant may be violating California law.» Since there is no notice indicating the additional charge this is clearly a deceptive practice and I am filing a complaint the AG office.

Very clean restaurant. The service is always good and the burgers are always fresh. I like jalapenos. The jalapeño burger is $ 3.25(with tax). The famous star with cheese is $ 2.77(with tax). You can order the famous star with jalapenos at no extra cost. It’s still $ 2.77. The burgers are slightly different, of course, but they’re close enough. I think I get some kind of joy from saving $ 0.48 each time I order it this way. I think I might need help! Regardless, I’ve always enjoyed Carl’s Jr. No exception at this location on Knoll.
