Jack In the Box

What can I say? It’s Jack in the Box. There isn’t much to expect from here. When I go here, it’s because I want a quick and cheap bite. I usually order from the value menu and get a jr burger and some fries. It’s less than $ 4 and tastes alright. I’ve only gone through the drive thru so I’m not quite sure how the service is. If you want okay fast food for a low price, this is your spot.

We call this the stoner jack in the box because every time we go here the employee seems high. They’ve also forgotten to take my money on TWO separate occasions here. Management needs to drug test before he loses more money. 2 free +$ 20 meals earns them 5 stars!

Absolute worst jack in the box. I have tried to give this location a few chances, but after my last visit I never plan to return. They have horrible costumer service and always mess my order up.
I ordered an iced mocha with light ice. I saw the lady making my drink, which had ice filled to the top, I nicely asked if that was my drink and after she replied yes I had said that I ordered light ice. She said I know and continued to dumb more ice in it. My order was also extremely messed up with missing items and other items made incorrectly. I was really bothered by this incident so I decided to call the jack in the box costumer service. After remaining on the phone for about an hour, describing the situation and answering questions, I was told that someone else (I believe the specific district manager or supervisor) was going to call me within a week. I never got a call, so I will never be returning. I now drive down the street to the jack in box off of Sycamore by Staters. Much better location. :)

I live around this jack in the box every time I go here something is missing or the order is all wrong, yesterday I went ordered a 11 combo and a side of curly fries, I got the burger with was missing the tomatoes and other things in the burger, and did not get my regular fries only the curly fries, will not be going back to this place.

This Jack is just around the corner from my shop so it really convenient. I have only been here a couple of times, but the service was good, food was hot, and tasted good. What more could you want. Good Jack in the Box

On my last visit, Laura from the drive-​thru was great and friendly. She smiled, took my order properly, and was quick. The smiling part is a BIG difference in fast food customer service. It’s not something you find often.
I’ve came here a hand full of times and so far everything’s been great, no complains. My favorite in San Marcos definitely.:)

Terrible customer service every time. three point turn drive thru is annoying. there was a load of grease on our bag. they always have an attitude when you order. Make sure to roll up your windows when you’re in the drive thru to avoid bees going into your car. Food is like normal. Never order the waffle egg sausage sandwich its nasty!!! we asked for syrup and he gave us every kind of sauce there is, how wasteful.

I know I know, who the heck would really write a review on a fast food restaurant? Well, in a country full of rights and equal opportunity, why shouldn’t Jack get a review? More importantly, this specific location earned a review… just not a positive one.
And for the record, I go here a lot, but not for myself. My boss is a fast food addict.
My first concern was the layout of how to get into the parking lot and the confusion that takes place with a long drive-​through line. It seemed that it might be faster just to go inside during lunch, but then you run the risk of getting stuck in your parking space with the cluster of drive-​through visitors.
There is where it gets good. Had one heck of a time ordering at the wonderful Hi-​Def drive through speaker system. Having no clue what the lady said and I’m pretty sure she didn’t quite understand what I wanted, pulling up to the window and getting what I asked for was a long shot.
The bill was 6.71 and all I had was a 10 dollar bill and some change. I know what your thinking already. So, I handed over 10.71. As the look of confusion set in, I didn’t say a word. Yes, I received the correct change ammount…3 dollar bills and the last dollar in change (pennies, nickles, dimes…). I guess it was my fault for assuming that I could exact change back in paper money (4 dollar bills)
As my bag of unknown food was handed to me, the question of what I ordered was asked again. Once I answered, she promptly snatched the bag back and went to fix my order. To be honest, I wasn’t surprised.
So, now I have received my semi correct order which appeared to be thrown in a bag and shaken around. I hesitated to set the bag on the passenger seat due to the grease soaked bag.
And to top it off, pulling out of the parking lot, I realized I was missing my straw! That was the straw. or the lack of, that broke the camels back.
