They have a beautiful, wide selection of frames in the store & spent a lot of time with me helping to choose the right ones, even though I came in close to closing time. First of all, how do I give Scott Jacobs Studio more than five stars?
I am a resident of San Elijo Hills and happened to notice that the studio had opened — so in I went with two photographs that I needed framed. Took a few minutes of gawking at Scott Jacobs Art before I could start thinking about the framing. The help I received was way above and beyond and extremely friendly, like I was another member of the family!
Have since taken in a Charles Fries Oil that Scott Jacobs recommended be sent to the Penn. Art Conservatory for cleaning and re-​stretching on new linen backing as the painting was done in the 1930’s and would not last long without this work.
We have since gotten it back and had it framed — absolutely beautiful! Scott Jacobs met with us and helped «design» a frame that makes the painting stand out. A lot of personal time and custom work on his part to achieve the right effect. Very much appreciated.
We are already selecting the next group of old family photographs to have re-​framed.
I would recommend the Scott Jacobs Studio Art Gallery & Framing to anyone. Just to walk in and look around one might find themselves there for an hour or more looking at the incredible art work not to mention the framing which has been our primary concern — to this point.
