Been shut down now for years, the lady who ran it moved on to other things and her mom’s store which gave her the location, Come C antiques is still around.

I was really disappointed when I got here. Through the window it looked like it might have some cool stuff, but the great thing about thrift stores is no pressure sales and the ability to browse. This place offered neither. There was a closed sign and a small handwritten note taped to the door saying that it was only available to browse by appointment only. Really? That has got to be the lamest thing going. If you make an appointment then all of a sudden it becomes a high pressure sales environment because you ‘made’ someone haul their butt into work that day and if you look around and don’t find anything then you’ve ‘wasted’ their time. No thank you. Either open it up 2 hours on certain days or just close down shop altogether. Don’t waste MY time.

This place is TINY, but it is quality all of the way. I bought a few gifts here this past Christmas and everyone wanted to know where I found them. A lot of vintage jewels can look cheap and fake, but you will find great deco and mod pieces here. They also have a great(but small) collection of coats and ties. The owner will set up a personal appointment if you cannot make during«regular hours»; plus, she will call other places and look through her storage items if you are looking for a particular article that she doesn’t have on hand.
