Benefit Brow Bar at Macy’s

I’ve always done threading but the Unilocal reviews of this place were impressive so I said, «why not?». I was pleased that I was able to easily book an appointment on the same day. Angelina did my eyebrow waxing. She was very gentle and took her time perfecting my eyebrows. She cleaned the area and measured my arch. This was a first for me. She answered all my questions in a pleasant way. All in a all I’m ecstatic with the results. A huge bonus was I was able to continue shopping without people glancing at me because she put concealer to hide the redness. I will definitely book a follow up!

After reading several reviews I decided to make an appointment with Yani. She is very nice and she did an amazing job. I let my eyebrows grow for about 4 months because they were super thin. Yani did a great job listening to what I wanted and she even showed me how to improve my makeup techniques. 5 stars!

Yani is an eyebrow goddess. I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and always been pleased. She takes her time, has a great sense of humor that really helps you relax, and delivers consistently beautiful, naturally-​looking eyebrows. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Not coming here again you couldn’t even tell that they did my eyebrows! So disappointing!

This review is for Jen as I’ve had her do my brows twice now and they look perfect every time! Not too thin nor was there too much of an arc, they look natural and very crisp and clean every time. I’m scheduling to get my brows done every 4 weeks with her now :) Thanks Jen! :)

Yani is great! She’s somewhat hard to get appointments with but it’s because she’s really good.

I have not had my eyebrows waxed for years. The lady that did my eyebrows today did an excellent job. However, when I started threading years ago, I never went back to waxing; until today. I still like the result of threading better; it cleans up better, looking more refreshed and sharp. Anyhow, I may come back here; it is not as difficult to get an appointment.

I have been here 3 times… my first time was with Yani who was amazing, she made talked through everything with me and made sure I understood what she was doing and why. I left with the best brows I’ve ever had in my life. 2^nd time was a huge disappointment, Yani is on pregnancy leave so I made an appointment with whoever I could get. I had an appointment at 10:20 with Betsy (I believe that’s her name but I’m not 100% sure). I was on time for my appointment but there was nobody there at the counter. The girl working at one of the other makeup counters tried helping me in finding someone and even called the people who worked there. Finally, she showed up at 10:45. She did an okay job but was nowhere close to Yani. Today I had high hopes that I would have a good experience here as I did the first time, but sadly I did not. Jennifer did my brows and it may have been the most uncomfortable experience in my life. She was leaning on me the whole entire time and my knee was literally in her crotch for most of the appointment. She barely cleaned up my brows but I guess they look okay, I’m going to pluck them myself though. Overall, I give Yani 5 stars and the other 2 people 2 stars. Debating whether I should find somewhere new or just wait for Yani to come back.

Shut UP how much I LOVE these girls that work here! Coming out of a horrible experience, five minutes earlier at LensCrafters down the mall hall — I walk in to pick up a couple of stocking stuffers for my adult children. These girls lead me to the best deals of a lifetime– the best makeup ever and they know exactly what my kids would love and their customer service was off the chain ! THANK YOU !

This use to be one of my go to places. Love Yani who is on maternity leave. I was there when the mall opened at 10am and checked to see if they had any availability. I was told that they have an 11 o’clock scheduled but if the client did not show by 11:05 am I was first in line. At 11:05 I sat down and they asked me to sign in on the sign-​up sheet and the other client walked up. It was disappointing to me that they felt they should take her first. I feel that they should have continued with my service and provided her with an option to return later. When you have an appointment at 11 AM, you should be there at 11 AM. I left at 11:09 AM and they had not even started her service yet.

I read all the reviews and got an appt with yani. She wasn’t particularly friendly and seemed rushed. The end result wasn’t great. Just your typical eyebrow wax. Won’t come again

Jenn is great — and therefore hard to book. I’ve tried some of the other girls at this Benefit Brow Bar and they were a little underwhelming… You won’t be disappointed if you see Jenn for your brows. :) Book her a few weeks in advance.

My eyebrows will never look as good as what they can do to them. Not only that Benefit cosmetics are amazing. I recently tried the Roller Lash mascara, my lashes have never ever looked as full or as long as they did with! I have tried the They’re Real and didn’t get as good as results with that one. I went in on my Birthday (free eyebrows for your bday) and immediately got compliments on my brows!

Don’t waste your time coming to this counter at the Hillsdale location.
I came in as a drop in for a brow wax at 6:30, at 6:45 the girl that told me to wait a few minutes tells me they can’t take me today because the esthetician has to clock out at 7 and won’t have enough time. I asked to speak to a manager and she says they’re all gone for the day. Terrible customer service to have someone waiting and then turning them away.

I came in without an appointment hoping that I would be able to be seen. The woman at the front counter explained that I was able to wait around in case another appointment cancelled. While the woman was explaining their standby process, Quinn, another aesthetician, interrupted and said she would be happy to squeeze me in before her next appointment. Quinn did not rush me and took the time to ask what I was going for and explain how she would achieve that look. Quinn did AMAZING with my eyebrows. She fixed my arch and gave me some great makeup pointers as well for my brows. I will follow her to her new location for sure!

I will be back! Located inside Macy’s at Hillsdale Mall, the location is unsuspecting and you wouldn’t think they can do brow magic there. I had Quinn shape my eyebrows and I am so happy. I will be back over and over. Everyone there was so sweet and helpful.

I have been coming here for about almost a year I was a walk in Quinn did my brows every since then she has touched my brows… She fixed my arch and made my brows look fantastic till this very day!!! Beyond the best ever don’t know what I do with out her now all my friends and even mom go to her give them 4 stars for wonderful customer service

REAL EYEBROW GAME GETTING STRONG (ER)!!!
I let my brows go!!! I see friends/​strangers making eye contact and them eyeBROW contact during conversation. Excuse the mess…
Went on the «eyebrow challenge» and Been growing out my eye brows for 8 – 9 months in hopes of fuller, thicker, and more arch because plunking them to thin lines resembling a sad face wasn’t cute. You can imagine my brows have been uneven, patchy, and strange looking and after trying to comb the hairs into place it was time for a wax. I’ve had them filled where they didn’t look very natural. Finally… I’m ready to clean it up.
Did a drop in and had a Yani session. I explained to her the growing out and what I want them to eventually look like. Even though they are still growing she commented it was a good amount of growth. She trimmed, waxed, and shaped the brow and advised where I need to grow for her to give me the arch.
My eyebrows look pretty good. Thanks Yani!!!

I’ve been to many eyebrow waxing/​threading services and this one is just too fabulous for words.
Yani is the eyebrow guru! She really paid attention to the shape I asked for when shaping my eyebrows. I wanted fuller eyebrows and I got them! She’s very friendly and sweet too. It was very fast and easy.
I also got Help finding a foundation from one of the sales associates, very friendly and informative!
There was also a special going on: buy $ 50 in product and get your eyebrow service free!
Make an appointment! It gets very busy here.

Quinn was so sweet and she knew what she was doing. This was my 4^th time at a different benefits brow bar and I think I’ve finally found my match! My brows became uneven and the shape was grown out since my last experience. Quinn was really good about taking me step by step on what she was going to do and had a good eye for shape and even-​ness.
Make sure you bring cash for tip and make an appointment earlier– these girls get super busy.
