Coldwater Creek

I don’t shop here often but last week went in for the 50% off sale. I had a super nice woman help me (Sam?). She even called another store to have them mail me a cardi the San Mateo store didn’t have in stock. So far, so good. I purchased several items.
I ended up in the San Mateo store yesterday to return/​exchange some items. The woman at the desk, D’Ann employee 20 019 876, really had an attitude when she realized I was returning some items. I wanted to leave my bag at the desk and she sighed and said «if you want to» like it was really putting her out to take my bag of items. I found two things I wanted to purchase along with my return. She ended up mistakenly throwing my receipt in the trash and was annoyed that she had to fish it out. Not my fault you threw it away. And, while she has a crabby look on her face while helping me with my transaction, she makes a point of putting on a happy face and nicely calling out and welcoming a few customers who came in the store. I overheard her saying she was hopefully transferring to the CC on Union Square in an upper management position. Hope she gets the transfer. I won’t shop in the Hillsdale store again if I see her there.

I LOVE this store! There is always a great sale, the clothes are fantastically comfortable and stylish… and the women who work in there are SO PERSONABLE!
Soft fabrics and sweet words will woo you to buy buy buy with every visit. These ladies are like your new BFFs, I swear! This last time I poked my head in for a quick scan before I RACED home to get ready for an interview… As I power walked through the store looking at things I might not be able to live without — I chatted up the staff. They were so great with me — pumping up my ego about my interview while simultaneously showing me the best deals in colors and styles that would be sure to WOW any potential employer.
SELL ON, SISTERS! SELL ON! I love Coldwater Creek!

Clothes for women over 40. Excellent customer service, my mom is always treated well here, and they carry petities in larger sizes, which is nice to know because few stores do.
