i came across this restaurant out of curiosity. there were a bunch of little kids rolling pizza dough and i didn’t know what it was all about. i go inside and meet the business owner, Mike and his lovely wife, Sisa who explain to me that they are hosting some kind of kids learning party where the kids get to have fun by learning how to cook. simple concept, but the kids were having a lot of fun. it’s a little confusing as to how this place works, but Mike was very personable and open to telling me about the place. 1.) you can order food based on their menu that changes monthly, all of which is fresh, so when you take it home, you can just cook it in the oven/microwave, etc. 2.) you can prepare the food yourself and take it home or eat it there. 3.) you can have the food prepared and cooked, and you just take it home. 4.) they have lunch specials to go or dine in. 5.) they host kids parties where the kids get to learn to cook(it’s like free babysitting, but the kids get to learn how to make something and have a meal); don’t tell them that though cuz the kids party is cheaper than babysitting =) i chose option 4, and i had their rotisserie chicken with 2 sides and i was pleasantly surprised!!! i see«rotisserie chicken» and i get bored because all i eat is chicken(i don’t eat beef, pork, shell-fish). chicken is my main staple, and this is definitely THEBEST rotisserie chicken i’ve ever had. seriously, coming from someone who only eats chicken everyday, that’s a bold statement. their coleslaw was also THEBEST i’ve ever had, and i hate coleslaw(sorry mom). i ate everything on the plate. it’s too bad they don’t have this place in sacramento because i’d probably be a lot skinnier if i ate this kind of food daily because there are a lot of fresh veggies and low fat options. i would give it an extra star if i could because of the extremely affordable prices. my girlfriend’s review for the beef/pork eaters «their brisket and their ribs fall off the bone and are very tender.» you’ll have to take her word for it. i don’t eat beef/pork. the only thing i could complain about, and it’s not their fault, is the parking, but then again, in the bay area, where is there good parking?!? we will definitely be back =D

While having my home painted, we did take out a lot. I thought that this would be a great option. One dish that I ordered were the veggies, I thought that I had ordered the Asian veggies, but maybe they were the«other». Unfortunately, they looked and tasted like a bag of frozen veggies. Nuff said, I don’t eat frozen veggies. I did try a fish entrée and an orzo side dish, just ok, sorry.

It’s like a mix of cooking school and a gourmet food prep to go. I really dig the idea of having a homemade meal done via takeout, only you do half the work — the cooking and cleaning dishes The idea is really for the faux-riche suburbanite — those who want to pretend to be able to cook, but have no absolute talent and no desire to touch vegetables and meat for prepping. Anyhow, the idea is super awesome, you can either call or just stop by to pick up some food stuffs. Personally I could care less for the entrees, but the ORZO!!! Desserts are great as well, and the price is really doable. The store front is super cute, a great addition to 25th street. Located across from Kobeya, I was super intrigued when Entrée Vous was going through its construction phase. The space is light and clean, and the employees are super personable.
