We moved in eight months ago and living here has been a great experience; our Unit is spacious, with functional features, high ceiling & large windows, with two bathrooms that looks immaculate & kitchen with beautiful appliances. Despite our Unit being on the ground floor, it’s quite. Amenities such as, heated swimming pool, community lounge and gym is within few walks from our Unit. I love nature, and landscaping is central to my appreciation of the well-picked trees, flowering plants and varieties of ground-cover greens; I enjoy my regular night walk safely through the vast acres of surrounding parks, & meeting residents as well walking their pets. I can call this place my home for years to come. Accessibility to Cal train, Medical facility, grocery stores, restaurants and shopping malls are just within walking distance, a big plus to exercise. The Leasing staff, Sunny and Tami are two professionals who’s helpful, responsive & welcoming, a great team at work; the maintenance team as well, is a force to «reckon with», this team perform their task ‘extra mile’ more than the job requires. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed living at Fieldhouse Apartment, it’s a great community, & highly recommend it.

We moved into Field House July 2015 after looking up and down the Peninsula for the right place to live — this was #1 — no where else came close that had everything we wanted in our home. Love our luxury home, the pool, the parks, the location, nice, friendly neighbors, easy to get to work or SF via Caltrain and the Leasing staff Sunny & Tam are fabulous. Our lease is up in June but we plan to re-lease for another year or two until we buy a home — hopefully here in the neighborhood. Highly recommend Field house

My experience of living in Field House has been great! The apt. is very spacious, and everything inside works great! The community has many parks and an organic garden! I walk alone at night and feel very safe. Dog friendly, many cute puppies running around. Great view and right next to the Caltrain! The building also have a heated swimming pool and a club room which is very nice. The building manager Sunny is very helpful! He has been very responsive to phone call or emails. I never have any problem since I moved here. He is a great manager to work with which I appreciate!

We have been living here for the past 9 months and we have thoroughly enjoyed the community, the property. It’s very accessible to cal train, great outdoor spaces nearby, the leasing office staff are very helpful and very welcoming. Highly recommend it.

Very happy with the service here. The leasing office is great and has been very helpful in answering all our questions, letting us know what’s going on in the community, and making sure we enjoy living here. The maintenance team are also super friendly and have been very nice to work with.

Great location, very nice space. Fantastic community activities(Christmas Tree lightening, free Yoga Classes, Pizza evenings, cooking events, all for free) Very nice staff. I had my lightbulb and other things fixed within 24 hours. It is pricey but we really enjoy living here.

First off, let me give this place some credit. It is very nice to look at. They put a great deal of effort into the design and chose great materials for the apartments. As for everything else, not so great for what you pay to live here. For this price you could mortgage a house and for less I’m sure. The staff appears to verbally state one thing and do completely another when it comes to anything through out the complex. It’s all free game til you sign that lease, then the hidden fees and true colors shine. I was informed by staff one day when my light bulb in the built in bathroom vanity went out, that oh sure it will be replaced by maintenance in a heartbeat. Then after a few days of reminding the staff, there was a sudden change of mind and now I was informed to cover costs for a replacement. Please note, I am the first tenant in this unit ever and the vanity is not mine which will stay when I go. Also, this is not your average size 60w lightbulb from CVS. It is an industrial size energy bulb that must be bought from a hardware store specifically for this fixture. Cool, I then bought it. After a night of dinner with friends here, I was later informed by several tenants theirs was replaced. Really? I do not mind paying for things, hey… I pay for this rent and other crazy fees here. But you would assume for the costs you would get superb customer service and someone to stand by it. I’m sure it’s not that the staff’s complete fault. There’s always higher ups cutting costs to make extra bucks but regardless this lightbulb thing is a joke. Definitely questioning my lease resign or recommendations moving forward.

We moved in a few months ago and LOVE living here. The pool, common room, gym and nearby fields and playgrounds are fantastic. We have two small children and it’s just wonderful for them to have everything so close by– we regularly bicycle to the nearby Whole Foods and don’t even need our car on the weekends. Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly and efficiently(not that would will even need them as it’s a brand new, luxury building) and the management is wonderful– easily accessible, efficient and friendly for whatever you need. We love the Bay Meadows events like zumba, yoga, movie nights etc… it’s a great community. Thank you Fieldhouse!

I would give the neighborhood and fellow apartment dwellers a 5 star! As for the actual property, Field house, that would be a 2 star ;( We had been eyeing this apartment before it even opened, based on the location and design. We took several tours, and even though its priced high($ 4k for 2Br, 1000 sq feet), we took the plunge. …so for the sad part, the property management is the 2 star. In a nutshell: 1. Our 2nd bathroom has had no hot water and the shower head leaks, this has been ongoing for over 2 months. They tried to fix it a couple times but still has yet to be fixed. Very inconvenient to have maintenance in your house several times while you are taking calls for work! 2. The kitchen sinks clogs 5 times when you do dishes, and so do the toilets even with just number 1 — kind of weird for a new place. Management says they need to investigate, but have not done so. 3. The garage door and main entry FOB doors are always broken, again weird for a brand new place! 4. The windows are paper thin, and I am not talking about the train. People having conversations on the sidewalk sound like they are in your apartment. Again weird for a brand new place! 5. Too top it all off, you have to chase down property management to get anything taken care of, and when they finally reply, they want proof this stuff is broken and once that happens their isn’t resolution on any of the maintenance issues. So not good if you have a busy lifestyle, like work and kids. The actual grounds and amenities are amazing — the apartments can be on the smaller side, but brand new. modern — and the leasing agents are great — once they have their property management together — this place will be a 5 star!
