I’ve been training with Jason at 1119 Fitness for a little over a year and I can’t say enough good things about him. He gives just the right amount of motivation and pointers – enough to push you without being annoying. He has a great sense of humor. And he accomodates my hectic schedule. I’ve had other trainers in the past, and witnessed many, and without doubt, Jason is one of the best around. The proof is in the pudding though: With just 1 or 2 workouts a week, I’ve dropped at least 15 pounds of fat and put on significant muscle mass. My flexibility is improved, as is my stamina. I came to him barely able to do a set of push ups, and now I can do them all day long. I’m 38, and feel better than I have since I was 10 years younger. I was a decent athlete when I was younger, but getting old is no joke(as is getting married and having kids), and I’ve fallen off over the past decade. Jason is a former athlete, and approaching middle age as well(sorry Jason), so I think he gets it. I’ve seen and worked with younger trainers who treat clients like olympic athletes, pushing too hard, and risking injury. I’ve also worked with trainers who’ve treated me like I’ve never seen the inside of a gym before, which is insulting. Jason is neither. With a session or two he figured out where I was and where I wanted to be, and has developed perfectly challenging sessions for me. Never the same one twice either. He trains men and women, a variety of shapes and ages, and all seem pleased. Do it!!!
