This place is great, SUPERB customer service, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, and a GREAT selection of juice. One thing i was bummed to find out about is they are closing up shop soon to go exclusive online and as a E-​Juice retailer… EVEN BETTER! i can purchase some great flavors that they had and will definitely be purchasing soon. I think they will be Closing soon, so stop by and pick up some stuff for your mods and e-​pens.

I needed to stock up on coils, and I was running low on juice. Was actually looking for a different store, but Google Maps took me to Modern Vapor, and I’m so glad they did. Greg, the owner, was friendly and helpful, and quick with the discounts when they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. The store was clean and well organized. I’ll definitely head back that way again. Also, try the Red Whip! The flavor is spot on!

I started going to this location my last 2 trips to stock up my coils and e-​juice and normally I go to it is vapor in redwood city. When I asked to purchase a pack of 1.8ohm coils it was given to me in a zip lock bag instead of original packaging. Well as it turns out 4 out 5 coils didn’t even work once installed in my vapor, wasn’t to happy about all the money I spent! Think I’ll just stick to Redwood city it is Vapor.

do not go. if i could give less than one star i would. i have been there multiple times and other vapor stores in the area too. yea they are clean and organized but so are almost all vapor stores. the thing that sets a good one aside from a place like this is customer service. all the stores carry the same products and roughly same prices, so i look for good, hard working people when i enter a store. this place lacked it all. when i walked in all three times, the workers were sitting on there phones and didn’t acknowledge that i had entered. secondly i spend a generous amount of money on a new set up (mine broke a few days prior), they were a little rude and not very helpful. that’s fine maybe he was in a bad mood i said, so i went back another time because the evic easy head i had purchased had a defect, never had been dropped, i had it for 3 days. when i went to exchange it the man working and the «manager» who couldn’t even show her face to me tried to find any excuse not to give me a new one. they even told me that i dropped it, (how could you know i dropped it if it is brand new). then that didn’t work so he takes his time to find out when i bought it because they didn’t believe me, he then proceeds to tell me after 30 minutes in there that he cant do anything and that he will give me %20 off a new one. are you kidding me? moral is, the owners and employees are cheaper than there products and will not help you with anything other than making there sale.

One of the best vape shops around. Great customer service and great prices. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and never pressuring you to buy stuff. Will always come here for my vaping needs

Being a newbie to vaping, a friend of mine spoke highly of It is Vapor San Mateo. I came into for some new juice and I have to say they have a great amount selection of e-​liquid at a affordable price. I been to another shop down the street and it was about 11 $ for a small bottle. It is Vapor had a great deal on single bottles at 6 each or 3 at 17 $. The gentlemen I believe his name was Tony or Tommy, recommended Irish Mint which tasted amazing like the Andes chocolate you would get at a restaurant. A good all day Vape flavor. I will back for more and will tell all my vaping buddy’s to come here for juice!

This place is a great vape shop. First off the customer service was awesome, very nice people. They have a good selection of juices at a very good price, all the ones that I tried were super tasty surprisingly. If you are looking for a vape shop and don’t know where to go I assure you that you wont be disappointed with this shop. All there products are legit too, unlike some shops Ive been too. Its also clean, organized, and looks nice inside. Overall an awesome experience here and I’m making this my go to spot for now on =). THANKS FOR THE HELP «It Is Vapor» !

Absolutely a first class operation. They have all the equipment and their eliquids are very, very good.
I just bought two new Vision Spinner batteries and one was bad. I walked back in and the fellow at the counter swapped it right out for a new one.
I totally recommend them.

Being on the peninsula there are not many vape shops which are close by. So when hearing that there would be a shop opening up in San Mateo, hubby and I were excited about that.
We made it to the grand opening and were greeted very pleasantly. I didn’t catch the gal’s name who helped us that day. She was very helpful in suggesting some juices to try.
On subsequent trips, Tommy, has been helping us and is always helpful and friendly. Greg is as always very friendly.
All the employees are always very helpful and patient when we go in to try different juice flavors. The shop is slowly expanding their juice selection which is great.
Should definitely join their instagram page as they always announce any specials that they may be running that day or week.
Love that this shop is so close to home. Overall enjoyed the shop.

It Is Vapor San Mateo!
First off let me say this has to be one of the nicest and cleanest looking vape shops in the Bay Area. I called in to see if they could fix a problem that I had. I had an old battery that I got from another store and it wasn’t working properly. So, I came into the store Thursday Oct 3^rd to get one of my vision battery fix. I just want to say thank you to the employee named Tommy, must I say very knowledgable with what he is doing and patience with me fixed my issue in less than 5 mins! My center pin was compressed so it wasn’t making an connection to the charger or tank. I am very thankful that the problem is solved. Will be coming here again for a new set up and juices!

This store recently just opened up so i decided to check it out. Close to CSM so couldn’t hurt to visit. Very clean shop and the people working there are really chill. The prices are a tad more expensive then «it is vapor» in redwood city on broadway. If your down in san mateo area check this place out.

This place is a joke. Bought a set up that came with a glass globe. Got home and noticed some small chips in the glass and when I tried to remove the lid IT BROKE! Called to see about an exchange, but i was told «once you leave the store, that’s it» and «you should have checked before you left the store». I don’t think I should have to check before I leave. I assume when I’m buying something BRAND NEW, that it isn’t already broken. I’m not going to stand there and analyze it with a microscope. I think they should just stand by their products and own up to mistakes/​poor quality.
Won’t be going here again.

I’ve been on e-​cigs for over 3 years now and it’s nice to have a place that I can go to instead of ordering online. Greg the owner runs a tight ship– the staff is knowledgeable, and attentive. Tons of flavors to try before you buy and lots of options to «mod» you e-​cig. As someone who smoked a pack a day, I would highly recommend checking out this alternative in this sleek new shop off!

As a newbie in town, this is the place to go to for vape and e-​cig set ups. They also have a ton of juices!
The customer service is great. I’m always greeted with a smile and the staff is so knowledgable. With a clean store set up and easy parking, I love this spot!
They just opened, so stop by. They had 20% off starter kits when I went in. Plus the juices were awesome! I sampled several and they were so nice about letting me try new stuff.
Give this place a try if you are into vaping or looking to quit smoking. This is a great place to get product info and juices.
