Look, in general, I’d contend that chain pizzas get trumped by the smaller boutique pizzerias every time. Vesta in redwood city, for example, might be the best pizza of my life. But Round Table is a taste of my childhood. My parents were ordering it when I was a little kid and that zesty red sauce hasn’t changed decades later. It is by far the best of the chains, and I’ll remain loyal till the end(or till they change that delicious red sauce). As for why I’m only now writing a review… I usually get the Gourmet Veggie pizza – which is LOADED with quality fresh veggies – but I swap red sauce in for the cream one. Not a big fan of cream sauce on pizza. Tonight was a bit of a hassle, but this review is to commend some quality customer service from this chain(I should note that the quality of the pizza from this location has always been great to me). On this particular instance, there was no sauce at all. I called to complain and the manager Mo took immediate care of me. In less than 10 minutes I had a replacement pie and was enjoying myself. Moreover, Mo knew me from my address and number(I’m a regular) and thanked me for it. I appreciated that level of personal service. Will continue ordering from this location!

IF UnilocalALLOWEDZEROORNEGATIVESTARSTHISWOULDBETHEPLACE!!! First and Last time I will ever eat here which is unfortunate because I’m in the area twice a month and was hoping this might be a convenient spot to eat at those times. — ALL the tables were dirty! Sticky Dirty! They remover the used plates when someone’s done, but leave the tables sticky! — The bathroom was Disgusting!!! There was Human FECIES… YESSHIT! On the floor, Around the Toilet and ONTHETOILETPAPERDISPENSER!!! It was such a DIRTY place I couldn’t even eat and left even though I had already paid.

Visiting this location from Modesto. The front counter woman was very polite. For a party of four, we ordered a small pizza had Maui and Half king Arthur and a soda, plus 3 waters. I usually get cap for asked for water cups but this time, no. The water cups are clean, no soapy residue like most locations. The pizzeria is pretty clean, quick service, and polite. That’s all I really ask for when I come in for a quick bite The location is convenient. Right off the freeway. Near SFO.

Round Table pizza is my second preferred pizza franchise besides Amici’s. This critique is about this location. I wasn’t impressed by the lack of value. I ordered buffalo wings and celery typically comes with it, but not today. When asked about it, the owner shrugged and said we’re out, how about broccoli from the salad bar? Sorry, just wasn’t meeting expectations today.

It’s sad really. I come to either Mountain Mikes or Round Table for that buffet. Why? A lot of pizza and little price! It’s a weird thing but I look forward to this as a «cheat day.» I swung in off the street to go to a store nearby and caught the Round Table in the back corner, thanks to the guy spinning the buffet sign. Walked in and was helped pretty quickly. Sat down grabbed my cup ad filled it up then turned to the disappointment. Maybe it’s my fault for eating lunch at 12:50. They had a grand total of 6 slices and 1 small piece of breadstick left on the row. The pizza looked like it had been there for a while, tasted like it as well. I should have taken a sneak peak at the lineup before paying the $ 11 or so, I guess that’s my bad? On top of that I waited for any more pizzas to come out, or breadsticks which I wanted more. Instead I sat here sipping my drink after about 4 slices of slightly warm pizza. I wish I would learn a lesson from this an avoid these places but I doubt I can maintain that. I will avoid this one in the future, maybe pick up a more local spot.

Best pizza I’ve ever had from a Round Table. Probably the cleanest bathrooms as well. Usually the sign of a well-run business.

I just brought my family in to the lunch buffet and was very dissatisfied with my overall experience. The restaurant was not that busy and the pizza was very slow coming out to the buffet. It was obvious they wanted to minimize the amount of pizza on the buffet. I had to ask several times for different pizza’s that were labeled on the buffet but were not available. I was also disappointed that their buffet ends at 1:30pm versus the Hillsdale location which is open until 2pm. I asked the lady behind the counter for a meat lover’s pizza(which had been out an hour before) at 1:25pm and she said it was too late, I had the pick from the old pizza that had been sitting on the buffet for a very long time. I also noticed they were very stingy about giving out clean plates for the buffet. I paid $ 22.91 for my wife and small child and certainly did not get my money’s worth. I will never return to this location and I hope you will contact me to get more details about my poor service. Yes, I realize for $ 8.50 per person I should have low expectations but they are still making a 75% profit margin at that price. Pizza is cheap stuff!

I originally wrote a review for this place a month or two ago after the first time I ordered. Since then I have ordered several More times. Each time there is a problem with the order. Pizza is missing a topping, or they forget the ranch or the twists or peppers and cheese. And $ 3.25 what’s with that? They don’t disclose it. One driver says he gets 1.25 of the 3.25 another says they don’t get a penny of that and only work on tips. Also the prices are constantly changing. There are never any specials when u call. The order takers lack major communication skills. I mean the pizza is great but I’m also paying a hefty price for it. Get your crap together.
A co worker told me about their special Wednesdays; 50 percent off their pizza. When I called the caller agreed they had it then during our conversation they don’t honor it. Can someone confirm?

Don’t get me wrong, I love Round Table… But a medium 5 topping pizza should not come out to $ 40.00 with tip and delivery. I ordered the most delectable pizza but it just wasn’t as good as it would have been if the crust was a bit less… droopy, or there was a Pizza Hut nearby. Their prices are ridiculous and when I called they said they had no special deals, well low and behold the box begged to differ since it was flooded with coupons. Meh, customer service over the phone. Great pizza(after reheating in the oven) and fantastic delivery driver skills! Literally this is the first time a delivery man made it to my house without getting lost, mad props broseph, mad props, your GPS Skills are exquisite. Also the delivery fee was $ 3.25, and that fee was worth it based on the speed and accuracy of the delivery, I give you the upmost achievement in delivery services Pedro Sandoval, I wish the pizza was cheaper so I could have tipped you higher!

The cashier named MOE or the employers took forever to make my chicken sandwich while I was waiting for it for 17minutes whole they were watching the tv.(Brazil/Chili) he told me it was almost done when I saw the two breads sitting on the counter. Pathetic !

Very nice staff and quick service. And their pizza is always good. Love how the dude cut the slices too. Perfect small slices all the way through the crust. Definitely order pizza here when you’re around the area.

what a disappointment! just before i began to fix dinner, we decided to go for pizza. i’d been watching the round table ulti-meat pizza ads on tv for a while now, and that combo sounded great! we’d been to this RT before for their special 3-pepperoni pizza, which wasn’t good at all… we should have taken the cue from that experience. but in searching san mateo’s RT pizza places, this one had the highest marks. so off we went. omg. some of the edges of the pepperoni and salami slices were scorched. the whole pizza was dry. the description promised cheese and zesty red sauce, which i had a hard time seeing, let along tasting. it was by far the nastiest pizza we’ve ever had. we brought home the leftovers, but wound up tossing it into the food waste bin, not wanting to think abt eating more of that stuff. it’s a shame, because the staff there is great — friendly, attentive and eager to please. be forewarned!!!

Lunch buffet is now $ 8, not including $ 2 soda. So you’ll be spending $ 11, almost better to just get a large pizza. Tastes better than mountain mikes, but their buffet is only $ 6, which includes soda.

I give these guys a resounded«Meh». $ 47.06 for 1 Large cheese pizza w/extra cheese and 1 medium combination. For that price they should expect to be groped, or at least felt up. The pizza’s were cooked in about 15 minutes, and they were ok. It just seems like they are really missing the boat on value here. To put these prices in perspective, I can get 5 large pizzas from Domino’s, 4 large pizza’s from Pizza hut, 9 pizza’s from that place in Belmont that sells those freshly made(uncooked) pizza’s, and about 45 junior cheeseburger delux’s at Wendy’s. Woefully unimpressed… I recommend going ANYWHERE else to find a better value.

This is a nice bright and clean Round Table that is located in the inner corner of the shopping center and has a lunch buffet that includes pizza and a decent salad bar. The pizza was very good. And while not the most immediately restocked, the crusts were perfectly crisped and the choices were OK, if a bit low on the meat combos. Compared to the other rather dingy Round Table buffets, I really enjoyed the way this one was laid out, the good fresh salad choices and the quick service. I definitely will be back.

50% OFFEVERYWEDNESDAYFOR — XLPIZZA! I have to say this has been the best CALL/PICKUP Round Table I have ever experienced! They make it sooooo easy! And they even tell ya — «your order will be ready for pickup in about 20 minutes! Keep in mind that the 50% applies after 4PM on Wednesday! I recommend ordering their ½ — mombo combo/chicken gourmet with white sauce. It is delicious! My total usually comes out to about $ 16 with tax. You can’t get a better deal than that especially during the midweek! I have only dined in here once — and my experience was great — but I highly recommend calling in for a pickup! They are extremely efficient and consistent with their excellent customer service!

Good lunch time buffet and service is friendly. Way better than Totos Pizza! I like the TV’s here too where they show games playing while you eat.

Best Round Table in the area. I would always order the Family Deal that included a large specialty pizza, wings or twists, and a 2 liter soda for $ 20. They have the best phone service, and delivery is always prompt and courteous. Recently, the store has been under new owner/management. I forget his name but he is very polite. When we dine there he always greets us with a smile and service is great. My only complaint is that since the new ownership, their deals have also changed. The Family Deal now only consists of a large 1 topping and a choice of wings or twists for the same price of $ 20. Because of this I will probably eat here less as you don’t get as much as before(hence the 4 star review). I guess it’s a sign of the times. But on a positive note, their food is always fresh.
