I’ve been waiting for the perfect menu to try Spice Ladle on Qulinary and sandwich kits this week did it for me. The Parsi Coconut Fish Curry was yum but the chicken tikka sandwich with the green chutney spread was to die for. Finally good bawa food in the bay area. I will be coming back for more…

The food is fresh and delicious! Everything I’ve tried has been wonderful but I will say the fish cakes are my favorite. My kids love them too!

I love the food… it is not oily, very fresh and incredibly delicious. My favorite is the fish cutlet. I just could not stop eating after I tasted one of them. Best Indian food I ever tasted!!!

Spice Ladle is my favorite go-to place for ordering fresh, gourmet Indian food. What I really like about their food is the unique Parsi flavors combined with high quality natural ingredients. There’s something distinct about Spice Ladle’s cuisine that I have yet to find anywhere else. It’s definitely unlike the usual greasy, Indian heavy food you’ll find in restaurants. What’s also nice is that the owners — Peri and Rohit are genuinely passionate about what they do, which is evident in the meals they offer. They offer a wide selection of menus. I haven’t tried all of them yet. But, my favorites are their buttermilk and thyme chicken tikka and Parsi Chicken Curry! If you’re a busy working family that don’t have time to cook, but want to enjoy a nice home cooked meal, then I highly recommend Spice Ladle. They offer bento boxes — ideal for a family of 2 or 4.

Most Indian restaurants have tasty food, but always with that huge oil slick swimming on top of everything. After you’ve eaten, you feel heavy and sleepy, your arteries clogging as you digest. Not these guys. Their food is fresh, beautiful, tasty *and* does not contain the standard copious amount of oil. Highly recommend!

The moment my husband and I saw the Spice Ladle menu on Qulinary, we knew we wanted to try everything. We were really excited to try the Parsi Jardaloo Chicken Curry. The food came packaged really well and the Chicken curry was absolutely divine! We even got a special addition of Tareli Macchi for our first order from the Chefs. Thank you so much for that! :) Thanksgiving special Jalapeño corn casserole and Mango Cranberry Chutney were absolutely delicious as well. The Chutney is definitely one of the best we’ve had. Really looking forward to new menus from Spice Ladle each week.
