I always pick Tuna In Subway depends on my mood but it’s one of my fave choices. I was at Hillsdale and craved for Tuna so I went here. So far this branch has the worst preparation of my food. Never again

Just thought I’d share what was sent in to the Subway contact service… since I have so much faith in them. Look, I’m going to make this simple. I didn’t slave under Subway’s reign for four years to come out not knowing how to make a proper sandwich. But when I order a footlong oven roasted chicken, I don’t expect to get soup, poured mercilessly over a stale loaf of bread. When a customer asks for ‘two swipes’ of a certain sauce, that does not — in ANY language — translate to ‘make those two swipes worth twelve’. I’m talking half a bottle of chipotle later and zombie brains look more tempting than my once-delicious looking sandwich. Extra cucumbers doesn’t mean five slices(as I remember, the formula for regular cucumbers was six), and for the love of literally ALL things holy, make sure the lettuce covers the whole bun. I didn’t come here to make waves, but I also didn’t come to Subway so I could politely pay $ 6 for a sandwich just so I could bring it home, have my 15-pound cat turn her nose up at it, and then throw it out. Maybe Subway University just isn’t the answer for all your training needs anymore, Subway… and thanks for the soup.

$ 6 foot long traditional subs all February. Located right next to the Fitness 19, these guys can crank a sub out in no time at all.

Five Stars for Subway? Subways do vary in taste and especially service. This particular shop has very kind employees, and terrific sandwiches. I’m terrible with names, but I think one sweet lady is named Joy. They are always pleasant and have exceptional memories. I just need to simply step inside the store and it triggers the sandwich making chain of events! Thanks!

Please tell me why I was charged $ 9.10 for a footlong oven roasted chicken sandwich with avocado? Isn’t the sandwich $ 6.50? I didn’t even have this gross thing toasted. It’s over $ 2 now for avocado? Kind of ridiculous. I come here at least 3−4x a week but I won’t return ever again. The woman couldn’t explain the charge to me — or at least I couldn’t understand her…

I’ve been going to this location for a few years and have had great sandwiches up until yesterday morning. Got my usual BLT, however, this time the staff tried to pull a fast one on me and used day old bread(it was stale, even though it was still semi-soft). WORSTSANDWICHEVER!

Absolutely worst subway. The woman who works in the morning refuses to honor any advertised deals. No coffee. After handling money, from the customer before me, only changed gloves after I requested! Gross!

Walked in, called if anyone was there. Saw the sign that the oven wasn’t working either, but i wanted a cold sanwich anyways. Kept calling and no one was there… Terrible service even when they are there.

we’ve been to several subways since our last visit here a few years back and have been happy w/the service and quality of those other subway sandwiches in niagara falls, ventura, lodi, sacramento… so we thought we’d try it again. i walked up to the counter first, there were a 2 – 3 people in front of me and hubby behind me. it was my fault i know, but i let the people behind the counter rush me through. usually they give you time to tell them what items you want on your sandwich, what type of dressing, etc. the one unfriendly gal simply asked, «everything?» and thinking i was at the deli or burger place, i said, «yes.» well, i wound up w/more than i normally put on my BMT sandwich. it was okay, but it sure as heck wasn’t made ‘my way.‘ my sandwich was ‘ok,’ but not near as good as other subway sandwiches i’ve had elsewhere.

We go to this Subway at least once a week The crew is always nice Today when I walked in about 7 customers ahead of me the 2 ladies in front me order 6 sandwiches and a salad it took less than 7 mins. For me to have my order, the 3 crew members always had smiles worked like clockwork The store is always clean

This is a great Subway. If you’re trying to watch your weight and cholesterol, this is the perfect place to eat after working out at Fitness 19.

This is indeed the BIGGEST Subway i’ve been. And it was way cleaner than any other subway. The crew here are super nice and approachable in a way that they listen carefully on your orders, welcomes you with a smile, suggests some choices if you’re not that sure on your order, they are very patient on costumers. All products are fresh. They have a lot of choices on chips. I highly recommend this Subway to you guys. Especially if you’re just around San Mateo. Cheap. Fresh products. Great deals. Friendly crew. What more can you ask?

I’m at the Subway in San Mateo near the Toto’s pizza place. Ordered the«cold cut combo». As you can see in the photo it was made for a vegetarian instead of a carnivore. ITWAS99% VEGETABLES!!! With a THIN line of «cold cuts». Cheese was also virtually non-existent. Also ordered the soup, broccoli cheese, and the container was barely half full. Soup was also thin and watery. Subway is now totally off my list as a place to get a sandwich. I wish I drove the extra mile and a half to get to Togo’s. EVERYTHING is better there. But I will say the girl behind the counter who made my sandwich at Subway was at least pleasant.

This is a 5 star Subway. Placed a VERY last minute order for a platter by phone. The lady on the phone was very helpful and friendly. The place is clean and the food was fresh. I will definitely be back and would recommend this location.

Went here for lunch. I had been to the subway down by autozone and that was a good experience. This however, for the most part was not. The guy that took my order first was rudely gesturing to me to approach the window before his previous customer had even left. My food was done correctly and the next guy was super nice, but the first impression turned me off to ever going to this one again.

The young woman who made my sandwich just slopped it all together in the most lethargic and apathetic way that I’ve ever seen anyone make a sandwich. It’s a SANDWICH — it’s not that hard, sweetie. I know your job sucks, but if you can’t make a sandwich, good luck keeping a job elsewhere. I’d be «nicer» about it, but she wasn’t at all personable, and my sandwich turned out pretty slimy as a result of how carelessly it was made. She was clearly unhappy with her job, but how bad could it be for a 19-year old(my guess at her age) to have a job making sandwiches?
