Love this place & perks of my brother working Here I get the family/​friends discount ! I like buying household supplies, and even clothes! They have everything youre looking for candles, body scrub, slippers socks, pet beds, etc. I always get stuck here looking at different new items. Lol lots of décor for your home. Different styles of clothing! Price is affordable. Great place to also shop for a gift. They have cute wrapping paper & gift bags. the customer service is great. everyone is nice.

I will not shop here again. I spend thousands of dollars here every year so I’m ticked beyond belief. Bought $ 100+ worth of stuff on Sunday ⁵⁄₁ between 3 – 4 PM. The cashier must have been in a lazy mood and only scanned one barcode of several items and now they will not let me return and will only offer store credit. Hah! What a joke.
The woman who wrung me (Geri?) denied the whole thing saying she always scans individually. Bull! Look in your cameras! Please look at your cameras!!! Transaction happened as I said it. Not only do you make me sound like a liar but you try to waste my time to «research».
Buyer beware! In turn be careful when they ring you up so this doesn’t happy to you!

Like Ross on the same center they have one rack of plus size clothes. I guess they feel plus size people aren’t important enough to get clothes and don’t want their business. Shame on them!

Love the store for the selections but love the employees even more. Maggie and Bardha are super helpful and exemplify customer service! Way to go!

I spend FAR too much time in TJ Maxx’s, but just love their home, pet and shoe selections. I had a gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket so for under $ 40, I got everything on sale including super warm (in my size!) slippers AFTER Christmas — that’s never happened when I have looked. Thought I was going to have to order them online. A TP holder with ring and storage for multiple roles for only $ 12, two fantastic «Rae Dunn Clay» mugs, produced by Magenta. Her stuff if everywhere and I know her from high school. The TJ Maxx ceramic line is based on her oh-​so-​high end porcelain ceramics only available from art stores and her pottery store. Came here this evening to return a small blanket that is too small.
Front skinny long hair lady din’t give me a greet even though I smiled and said hi to her.
All those time she didn’t bother to look at me. What wrong? Don’t feel like working?
Give your job to someone who does. All those times she was frowning. We don’t need these kind of services. And took her long enough to do the transaction.
She tossed the pen on the desk for me to sighn without saying a word.
Not a word all those time. Won’t be coming back to see her face either.
And personally, will not need her services, ever!!! Well, happy new year!

One of my faves, not even because the inventory is SO great (def hit or miss) but because the people are always friendly and accommodating.

This is one of the better TJMaxx stores that I’ve found. I actually bought a cute Kate Spade phone case and a Burberry perfume, and my success rate with TJMaxx hasn’t been so high.
They have a cool handbag section with lots of Steve Madden and Michael Kors. I even found a random Frye wallet hidden in the pile.
The watch section is interesting. I saw Marc Jacobs watches which I normally don’t find.
I was less impressed with the clothes section. I didn’t really find anything to my liking.

The fitting room lady (with the bad dye job and hair cut) worker accused me of trying to steal a shirt just because the shirt didn’t have a tag on it. WELL if you ppl that work here did your job and made sure to have tags in all your clothing items, this wouldn’t have happened. It’s not my fault of your incompetence. Horrible customer service! won’t be back.

Bought some spalding capris for $ 9.99 and an arm band for your phone when you go running or the gym for $ 9.99 also. Spotted some Betsy Johnson handbags 3 for $ 9.99 I regret not buying it but I have to hold back I buy everything I think is cute. Haha I have a problem, really liked this store have a lot of section a little more then the tj maxx by Westlake which is closer to my home but hey we were leaving breakfast and needed workout clothes.

I recently started working out to fill a void in my life that was previously taken up by practically constant and super obsessive thoughts of pizza.
In the last 15 days, I’ve taken 26 pilates classes and up until a few days ago I only owned one outfit suitable for working out in and things were getting pretty stressful having to weigh out whether I could re-​wear it or wash it for the dozenth time in row, so I came to TJ Maxx in search of fitness-​related wearables because I’m not baller enough to shop at Lululemon.
They had a large but somewhat sad looking selection of workout garb, but it’s what you’d expect from TJ Maxx. I tried on about a zillion different things and happily walked out with a second pair of stretchy leggings, a bust-​reducing (who am I becoming?) sports bra, and two long tanks for a super nominal price. I think the shirts were something like $ 12.99 and $ 9.99 and the leggings might have been $ 16.99, while the bra was about the same.
Everything fit like a glove and now the people in my classes will think I’m fancy because I own more than one outfit to get sweaty in.

Confession: I am a closet Maxxinista.
I was pleasantly surprised by this location’s offerings — first of all, it’s tucked away in a strip mall, away from downtown San Mateo, so it seems like they don’t get much foot traffic. I also think their offerings are WAY WAY better than the ones on the east coast. Maybe it’s because people in the bay area aren’t as concerned with trendy or chic pieces, but I scored a lot of great finds for home décor and the like here.
I also felt that the store was very organized and clean, compared to what I’ve experienced in NYC and NJ. The sales associates are also fairly pleasant.
The positive experiences I’ve had from visiting this store inspired me to check out some of the other locations in the bay as well.

This TJ Maxx is clean and had many selections of dog products. Well organized as well.

TJ maxx is actually a great store that sells name brand clothing, and at a very good price and wider selection compared to Ross. The people that work there are more friendly and the lines move faster than Ross, it shows that the managers train their employees better, are making checkout lines faster. Despite being in a bad location, next to rite aid and Ross, this store should get higher ratings than one star. They have iPhone accessories cheap and even name brand headphones like beats, and it’s good.

I don’t know why this tjmaxx have such bad reviews, I have found a lot of nice things here specially designer purses for way less. It’s true is a small store but to me it seems well organized and has convenient parking.

The TJ Maxx here is okay. It not like Home Goods by any means. The stock and selection are limited.
The only good things about this place is it’s located across of Trader Joe’s and has plenty of parking. The strip mall also have a Rite Aid and Ross.

Great store. Clean. Good Selection. No complaints.

The prices are pretty good.
The store was a little messy. Stuff was everywhere, but it was later in the day.

In the land of TJ Maxx, this one is top notch. I visit this area about 3 times a year and always find great deals in my size. This last visit I scored ⁷⁄₁₀ items I tried on. For $ 114!!! Really, even though it seems to be a small store, they have a great selection of everything.

The place is a mess, not that all TJ Maxx normally isn’t. Just was a combination of a mess and didn’t have anything of interest. All they had was the junk that no one really wanted and half the boxes were opened and damaged.
