I’ve wrote a review for this shop when they were on San Pablo Ave. Since they mover to McDonald St. in Richmond they haven’t missed a beat. Man and his staff still give top notch hair cuts! All kind of styles on all kind of hair. Real pros!

Good place to get a haircut. My dad was the one who introduced this place to me. Always got a nice cut from these guys. They’re very friendly as well.

Hip young men of all ethnicities make their way to this barber shop/hole in the wall because of the surgeon-like precision the barber’s have with their clippers. While there are more popular barbershops in the bay area, this one does not discriminate on the type of hair you have. Though their specialty is African-American hair — when I was there I saw middle-eastern, mexican-american, filipino and white guys getting their haircuts. If you ever get here, make sure you get a haircut from Jovan. He is the barber to most of the Golden State Warrior Basketball players(Monte Ellis, J. Richardson(when he lived up North), etc.). Word on the street is that Jovan does not get along with Baron Davis(now with the Clippers) for some reason. Who knows? He is, by far, the most in-demand barber here. Not that the other barbers are any slouches. The hispanic guy on the left(#2 seat) is very talented as well. Make sure you stop by the Pizza Hut/Wing Street in the same parking lot if you get hungry afterward or the Cambodian-run Donut shop across the street. They both have really good hood-food.
