There’s No Place Like Home Animal Rescue

I’m so happy to write a review for this shelter — Karen and Vanessa are caring, amazing people and it truly shows in the dogs that they take care of and all of my interactions with them. I looked for a long time to find the right dog to adopt and from my first e-​mail, they couldn’t have been more kind, helpful and informative. I had a TON of questions and some anxiety the first few days after taking Jackson (my new puppy!) home and they always responded with an e-​mail to help calm my nerves and answer my questions. When I went to meet Jackson, they sat down and talked with me and after I decided to take him for a trial period, they went above and beyond and even provided me with special food for his transition so his stomach wouldn’t get any more upset from the nerves of his big move. All of my roommates have remarked how calm and happy Jackson is and I know that is a direct result from all of the love and positive attention he received from There’s No Place Like Home and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful to them for introducing me to my new best friend! Whenever anyone asks I always tell them how wonderful I know There’s No Place Like Home is because I know they give the same love and affection to all of the animals they care for. Their adoption fee is more than reasonable and they also took care of all of the shots, micro-​chipping and neutering him. I couldn’t recommend this shelter more highly — thank you Karen and Vanessa! :)
