Dirtiest place with dry faces owner. No Smile. Any thing you want on demand. No place to hang up the cloths. No place to put soap in the shower. In 16 years first time bad experience. I want to put some photos but I can not find the tab.

This place is a dump! Horrible! The lady at the front was nice but that’s probably because she knew that she had just ripped me off! $ 60 total and I couldn’t even stay there. There was a syringe cap laying by the staircase, meaning IV drug users were around. Graffiti on the shower stall, room REEKED of smoke. Nothing in the walls except chopped paint. Super small room and small bed. Absolutely should be condemned. I can’t believe these rooms are legal to rent out.

Why & how are they even in business? I made a reservation a week in advance got to the counter to pay for my weeks stay and the older guy yelled out a price that was much higher than the online quote I asked why was the price different then he yelled TAX!!! & showed me he was charging me 12% tax, the tax for San Pablo CA is only 9% I told him, then he refused to rent me a room, I said, «I have a reservation for a week» he said I don’t want u here you causing too much trouble… I’m causing 2 much trouble bcuz ur charging me too much… then he didn’t give me a room & continued to chew his quat/kaut like I wasn’t even there… one star is too much for this sleezy motel, they are the worst in customer service, & they are rip offs!

I rather sleep in my car. What the hell is up with this place. Its a s&^% hole. The front desk have no customer service skills. Do not stay here. The bed sheets are not all the way around the bed so when you wake up your sleeping on the complete mattress. The internet does not work. I asked the guy at the front desk for the code /password and it was pouring rain and told me to come to the front desk still n o internet iam getting internet off my cell phone!!! The tv is about a football field away from the bed. The room smells like a ashtray. This place is a smoking hotel so watch out. The room cost $ 65 I want a refund but I hope they read this and put the $ 65 towards the mass improvements they need. Iam never satying here again.

I booked a double occupancy room with a single queen size bed at the Sands Inn on for a quite affordable price. Only a couple hours after booking, I received a phone call from a representative stating that she had the motel manager on the line and that the room I booked was not available. The good news was that there was another room available. She proceeded to put the motel manager on the line to give me the details. But the manager had no intention of speaking directly to a customer! He immediately started berating the representative saying that he would only tell her the details and that she had to relate them to me. They argued back and forth about this for some time, while I listened in, just trying to figure out whether or not I was really going to get a room. Finally he agreed to speak a few words to me, essentially asking if it would be okay if there were 2 beds in the room rather than one. As if I should care about that! The price was the same, so I agreed. The manager and rep argued for another minute or two before I was convinced I was actually going to end up with a room when I arrived the next day. My wife and I did show up the next day, and the manager immediately went off on a tirade about how bad was and how difficult this had all been for him. I nodded and smiled, just wanting to get my room key and get on to the show we were in town to see. And what a room it turned out to be. It was a smoking room, which was a bit more disappointing than having the extra bed in the room. We peeled back the blankets to find that the sheets didn’t extend quite to the end of the mattress, exposing the rubber splash-pad below. GROSS! There was no way were were getting in there. We ended up sleeping on top of the sheets, wearing all of our clothes, and bolting as soon as we could get up the next morning.
