Came here the other day for a double scoop and was pleasantly suprised. First, it’s on the water near Ports of Call and a bunch of chain restaurants. The surrounding area is getting lots of redevelopment and the San Pedro waterfront district has a very bright future ahead. Small ice cream shack with outdoor seating shared by the adjoining restaurant and overall nice vibe but a little touristy so be warned. Ice cream is good, actually really good but it’s not homemade. Got me a scoop of strawberry and chocolate. Guys, this is the place to end your date. If you can’t close after going all ice cream & waterside well, you just may not be able to close anywhere… you can thank me later now go do it!

What’s better than some ice cream after a nice seafood meal from the restaurant next door? Ice cream at Pan Pacific! I like that the place is clean(very important!), conveniently located(so I don’t have to lug my fat ass too far after my meal), and they’ve got soft serve, a variety of regular ice cream, banana splits, and snacks. Just thinking about this place, makes me want to go back and try all the flavors… Mmmmmmmm. *drools*

Freshly dipped frozen bananas and vanilla dip bars! Ice cream is thrifty brand which is one of the best tasting in my opinion.

Enjoyed A Delicious Banana Split(See Photo)! I have not had a banana split for years. I took a walk with my coworkers near the water where the private boats are parked in the slips in the harbor. There is a string of old and out dated restaurants. In between them is this little ice cream store(See Photo). There is another shop a short walk away, so do not go to the wrong one. I will visit the other place next week and compare the two. Details are as follows: 1. The first thing I noticed was the«A» from their last inspection. 2, They had at least 12 different flavors of ice cream and different variations including my banana split and a series of cones. 3. Plenty of covered seating near the water. 4. Even with the out dated surrounding restaurants, this was worth the time. 5. Bananas were just right. Not overly ripe and not green. just right. Bad bananas ruin a banana split. 6. The price for the banana split was 5 bucks! Not bad for three heaping scoops of ice cream with all the standard toppings. 7. I requested the hostess pick her three favorite flavors. She did a great job. I could only decipher the butter pecan flavor. The others I could not figure out, but they were yummy. 8. Parking is great. It’s free and a short couple minute walk to the shop. The place did not offer any milkshakes. My coworker ordered one scoop which was expensive at 2 dollars. The deal was the banana split! The hostess was nice and, again, picked out the good ice cream flavors without hesitation. I will come again!
