I had a 3:00PM appointment. Drove all the way over there through afternoon traffic and arrived at literally 3:04. Young guy at front desk: «Oh. We just pulled someone in ahead of you.» Me: «Really?! I have a 3PM appointment.» Him: «Yeah. I can maybe get you in if you want to come back in 40 minutes.»
No explanation, no apology.

Rude and unprofessional and trying to resolve the matter. Next time you call somebody trying to resolve the situation stop trying to play the blame game
Saying I don’t know what I had done. Owner stated that he did not see the oil change light everyone knows that a BMW does not have a light has a counter… One second to reset which requires me driving 30 minutes to get there… I think not… Not even going to bother with the rest because as of right now I’m more frustrated now than I was before. Disputing with my credit card company for sure

I have been going to AmayaS for over a year and am so happy with the work. The estimates are always truthful and the work is always the best. Victor also warranties his work for a year and I’ve never had to redo any of the auto work he has done. I highly recommend AmayaS for any auto repair.

Over charged for a 6^th quart of oil on May 5^th at 3:30 even though I have a 5 qt engine. They decided not to perform a tire rotation which was part of the package I bought from groupon, only when I asked though did they tell me. Said I needed new tires and it would be worse if he rotated. Really? He was about to let me leave without mentioning a thing.
When asked for a quote on brake repair, they explained they don’t do brake repair on Toyota trucks. You might want to consider adding that to your repertoire, just a thought.
Waste of time! I had to rotate my own tires and make sure my oil wasn’t overfilled. Needless to say, there are far more helpful and honest shops in Marin to choose from. Might have caught the place on a bad day but I’d suggest googling a repair and DIY before you bring to this shop.

Very inexpensive oil changes here. I have never had any problems and they are speedy as well. Also really great service. Was recommended here by a friend and haven’t gone anywhere else since.

So nice and helpful and Honest which is hard to come by been coming here for about 2 Years I think .Now my husband goes to and says he is great thanks.

I had a very good experience and satisfied with their service. The owner Victor is very kind and knowledgeable. I found his store through Groupon deal but I’m so happy that I found his place!!!

I always come in when i need something done quickly they alway handle me with care. They are family friends really honest, proffesional and clean they have fair prices I highly recommend them they will take care of you. I will see you guys in 6 months for my routine cv axle replacement! Lol

Came here for the first time, Victor the owner, provide me the best service ever, he did a full inspection of my car, my car needed a lots of help, he went over every single detail since I am not a car perfectionist, he taught me a lot about my car, and give me the best pricing, these people care about your smile not the money, I am definitely not going anywhere, best service in MARIN !!

First off Victor (owner) is a hell of a nice guy. I had read the reviews on Unilocal before coming here and couldn’t be more pleased that I did. He did my brakes, replaced rotors, and my struts. His price was fair and the service excellent. I’m definitely coming back here for any future auto services. It’s hard to find a kind, fair and competent mechanic. I just did.

They were so accomodating to my appointment needs (and crunched schedule). Were really fast, efficient, affordable, and friendly! I was in and out in no time and the whole thing was a piece o cake. Had tire rotation, inspection, oil change. Also, it was really easy to find!

Came here once before with a Living Social Deal, great experience then, and now I’m back. Very friendly staff, with a local vibe. Not like all the chains out there. And their pricing, honest. that’s all you can ask for from your auto repair guys!

AmayaS’ is the BEST. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation with a groupon I bought. They noticed my front brake pads and rotors were completely gone, they even showed me to prove it. Had my rotors and pads replaced, oil changed, tires rotated… all within an hour! They filled my tires, bled my brakes, and even replaced a taillight, all for free! I would highly recommend them. They’re honest and great at what they do. Can’t say enough good things. I’ll definitely be back!

These guys are a class act. Victor called me and apologized and offered to redo my oil change. I think that I should have told someone when I came in that I wanted 0w-​20 oil because the person on the phone did not relay that information to the mechanic. I think they have great customer service. I would highly recommend them.

After writing my first review, Martha, one of the owners contacted me in regards to my review and personally apologized for the incident. She even tried to make things right and offered to give me a refund for the filter. (Thank you for the offer, but I will decline. Since it was replaced, I’ll gladly pay for it.)
To me, it says a lot about a business, and especially the owners, when they personally take action if a customer has a complaint. Not all businesses do. I personally know businesses that have gotten bad reviews before, they sulk in their review and do nothing about it. So, because of that, I really appreciated the fact that Martha contacted me with regards to the whole incident. That in itself, I would award 5 stars because it says a lot about the owners running a small business and wanting to keep happy and returning customers. Therefore, the average of my scores comes to 3.

I bought an oil change deal on Living Social and it brought me here. Victor was straightforward and let me know exactly what to expect. He told me 30 minutes and that’s about what it took. He checked all my fluids and filters and even shined my tires which was a nice touch

Highly recommend this shop! Was greeted nicely, waited on immediately, great discusssion about repair options and timeliness, and wonderful recommendation for where to pass the time while they did their business. The car is feeling good, my pocket is lighter but everything is right, and it was a very very good experience all around! Clean, neat, and very good work. Is there something else?

Victor Amaya is the best! His prices are more than reasonable and keeps his word. He has strong integrity and does the job right.
I have gotten break jobs done and had him check to see that my Infinity is running properly.

I saw a livingsocial deal a short while back for 3 full service oil changes. And although I’m an impulsive buyer (yes, those vouchers have stacked up over the months), I’m also skeptical when it comes down to any type of service. Whether it be facials, waxing, or auto care, I make sure to Unilocal it first!
Unfortunately, there was only 1 review on here, for 5 stars. I decided to do a little bit of digging, and found this on facebook!
Sold after reading the brief little bio on Victor & his business, because I love supporting small businesses. I can tell that he is very involved in his business, because I got him on the phone a couple of times, and he was the one to help me out when I went in today for the service.
First off, I must commend Amaya’s for being so accommodating with my schedule. I had to squeeze in a long overdue oil change appointment with the hectic work week, and had to call back a couple times to adjust. They were more than helpful, and did not lose patience with me.
The service itself went smoothly. I arrived to my appointment early, but was still in and out within 30 minutes! Plus plus ++
Lastly, the service exceeded my expectations. Victor went above & beyond, which is why I think that his business will do very well.
