Best body shop in Marin hands down! Roland Kaiser and his team take great care of their customers and provide a level of service that is unmatched in my experience. I had to have a simple headlight bracket replaced due someone backing into my bumper, and Roland made sure that my car was properly fixed and back on the road at a very fair price. Was extremely pleased with their curteous and professional service and highly recommend them to anyone in need.

You know you’re in a good body shop when the garage is full of Porsches, McLarens, Teslas, and other fine, delectable examples of automotive masterpieces. So I knew I was in good hands when I dropped off my wife’s brand new cherry red convertible Beetle that had been rear-​ended, much to her wide-​eyed despair.
Not only was her car all put back together even faster than estimated, but when we noticed a slight discrepancy in the paint matching, Roland immediately had us bring the car back to have the issue remedied, and I’m now sitting in the Enterprise car rental just down the street, the cost of which is covered entirely by Barsotti.
Point: being great doesn’t mean you never make mistakes; it means you keep at it until you get it perfect. And for that reason — and their excellent customer service — Roland and the rest of the phenomenal Barsotti team get a solid five stars.

Barsotti’s Rocks! We had what became a total loss in out Porsche. Barstool’s is a Porsche Certified Collision Center and we choose them as the destination for our car after our accident. Roland and his team advised us of the proper steps, including dismantling the car to get a very accurate assessment of the damage and repair costs. Rather than «low ball» to get the repair job they provided us with all the information we needed to advise our carrier that the car should be declared a total loss, then Barsotti’s team continued working with the carrier to confirm that conclusion. After a false start on valuation, today we arrived at a fair and equitable actual cash value from our carrier — a value that was established, in part, with accurate information from Roland and his team. They work closely with their customer (and not the carriers) to generate the best outcome. Thanks Roland!

I’ve had to take my car to Barsotti’s three times over the past year because clearly my car has this little known feature where it sings a siren song while parked causing people to drive straight into my bumper.
Every single time my BMW was returned to me looking good as new. New bumper with working sensors and they also did detailing for me. Now that I’m on my third rear bumper, maybe I’ll switch it up a bit and park with the front of my car out for people to hit.
The office staff is really professional and polite. They explained what repairs my car needed and dealt with the insurance companies so that I didn’t have to argue with them about using new parts or cost. The last time I took my car in during a heat wave and they wouldn’t let me walk down the street to get my rental but had them pick me up. What was also nice is that when I came to pick up my car, they returned the rental for me so all I had to do was hop in my car and head out.
I’ve recommended them to friends who now use them exclusively. It’s annoying enough to have body damage to your car, Barsotti’s makes it a bit better by taking care of me every time.

My go-​to for German auto repair, Barsotti’s comes through again for the win. This time it was windshield repair. My insurance company tried to talk me out of using this shop to do the work and go with a lower cost option, but I refused, and ended up paying a small premium to get the repair done here. Well worth it, in my opinion. I have never worked with a better shop. Class act all around.

I was referred to Barsotti’s from my Infiniti dealer and I’m so glad I went with them. They did an excellent job repairing my Infiniti and were able to purchase the new parts for the right price. Although the final product was great this place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced Anywhere!
A 3 week job took 3 Months. 90 days. They (Roland) lied to me repeatedly. Next week, next week, by the 16^th, by the 20^th. … I made plane reservations 3 times to come when told only to have it never happen. Unfortunately they were the Only certified repair place Audi would allow to fix my TT, there have been so many complaints to Audi that they are trying to find other places to send their cars. By the way I live in No Lake Tahoe and this was the closest!

I had the most amazing service at Barsottis!
My windshield wiper recently stopped working on the freeway during a rain storm. Let’s talk about a bad day! I called Barsottis to help and they were able to accommodate me right away! The service was quick and extremely affordable! John was the technician and he was so helpful and explained the process so I felt comfortable with what was going on. So glad I found Barsottis! I will definitely be back!

The worst customer service ever — 60+ days in house. They lost my original Insurance paperwork, which they told me they had when I called to allow the service. 3 weeks later when no info, I called — was told my car was sitting on the back lot waiting on paperwork from Insurance — they had my number, no call Paperwork again sent and confirmed a few days later — that was 8 weeks ago.

I want to thank Roland and Janell for such a great job on my Ford F-​350, Roland was able to work with my Insurance company to make sure the work on my truck was completed correctly, as another body shop will not say there name, was so far from making sure that my truck was repaired and refinished correctly, also want to say thank you to John (tech) what a great job on bringing my truck back to what it looked like before, what I should say it look so much better than before, After Janell and Roland returned my truck, looked great, was detailed and nice and clean, I would highly recommend Barsotti’s Body and Fender to everyone, outstanding team.

No question whatsoever! If you care about your car — fix it here! I have an older car and went in with a destroyed front bumper. Barsotti’s found all the parts — NEW — at far better prices than I could find, even remanufactured. They did a beautiful job, on time with no surprises. (I had quotes from other shops and Barsotti’s was within $ 50.00)
Typically, not long after the repair, I bumped something and the poor bumper was left hanging on one side. I took it back and in 20 minutes the bumper was as good as new — NO CHARGE! Worth every penny.
Trust Barsotti’s, they have been around forever and there is a good reason for that, quality and service.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Barsotti’s restored my Range Rover to like new condition. My Rover had been damaged by someone that had run a sharp object (like a nail), down the passenger side. Barsotti’s repaired the damage and refinished the front fender. They perfectly blended the metallic blue paint and blended the color to match the rest of the vehicle. They also detailed the vehicle and repaired trim pieces that were unrelated to the paint repair. They provided a free shuttle at drop-​off and pick-​up, and kept me advised of their progress with the work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

During one of the storms that rolled through last week, I was pulling my prized 2012 Volvo XC60 into my garage when it was hit by the gate into my yard. You can imagine my complete anger when this happened to my not yet 15 000 mile old machine, so after I cooled off a bit I looked at my passenger door and noticed two large scratches. After some more cooling off I managed to compose myself and make my way to this internet machine and searched for Volvo Certified Body & Paint places in the bay area.
I came across Barsotti’s, and knowing I’d be doing some work in San Rafael the next day, I decided to pop in and get an estimate. Here is where the real 5 star service begins. In the rain, a woman walked out with me to check out the door, and mentioned she though the scratches could be polished out. I didn’t think this was possible honestly, otherwise I woulda probably done it myself, but she seemed really sure and asked if I wanted it done real quick while I waited. I said sure, and off it went into the back.
I sat in the office for about 15 minutes until my Volvo came back, and the woman brought me outside to check out my car. To my utter disbelief, those big scratches were gone and you couldn’t even tell anything had ever happened. I was amazed, really, and asked how much I owed for this! She told me not to worry and sent me on my way. I was completely shocked and had to ask again, she repeated and I thanked her 3 times.
I would highly recommend anyone to head to Barsotti’s, just based on my quick experience with them I would make the drive from anywhere in the Bay to have work done. Seriously, thanks again!

I just had an excellent experience having my car beautifully repaired at Barsotti’s. The insurance company of the person who backed in to my bumper wanted me to try another local body shop — after I went there for an estimate and they told me they would essentially repair my damaged bumper by painting over it — I called my dealership and they referred me to Barsotti’s. From the moment I called Roland at Barsotti’s I knew taking my car there was the right decision. He was professional, knowledgeable and told me that the bumper needed to be replaced — and that he would contact the insurance company. A new bumper and grills were authorized by the insurance company within 24 hours and Roland also made sure that I received authentic new VW parts for my Passat Wagon.
Picked up my car after 4 days — it looks incredible! They detailed the car and went above and beyond and had my headlights detailed and they are now clear! (They had the yellowing residue happening). The office staff were always professional on the phone and very helpful and friendly when I dropped off and picked up my car.
I HIGHLY reccommend Barsotti’s and working with Roland was a pleasure.
They are a top notch shop.
