I got hit twice and each time I went to Blake’s. They have the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Jason Hespe is over the top fabulous. He made both experiences easy and he is exceptional. I wish that Jason would teach all companies about customer service. He ranks the highest possible score. Totally supported me and helped when I didn’t have time to drop the rental car off. Blake’s has top notch customer service, and the body work is done well, too!!! Very good experience and highly recommend them!

Very smiley/​happy service. Unfortunately, the end result sucked. Small dent repair and hitch re-​install after uhaul failed to install in correctly the first time. Dropped the car off Monday morning and was told it would be ready later in the week. Friday morning came along, no call… was then informed that they would need it through the weekend. I had surgery scheduled for monday so it was a huge pain, but what could I do… finally get the car back on Thursday, drive home only to find a panel flapping in the wind (not secure) no lock washers on the horizontal bolts/​hitch and… one of the main hitch bolts on the frame was cross threaded and driven in about ¾ of the way. All this after I was told what a professional job they did… needless to say, I won’t be back.

Had a great experience here and highly recommend them. They were close to their estimated time of completion, gave me regular email updates on their progress and took wonderful care of repairing my fender bender. They really care about getting your vehicle back to perfection.

Thanks to Anthony and Fernando for taking good care of my car. The paint looked superb. When I noticed some seams between panels were not aligned I found that they also were happy to make sure that the seams looked great.

I had a great experience with Blake’s and highly recommend this repair shop. My car was hit and State Farm provided a list of repair shops. I went to Unilocal and nextdoor to look at recommendations. I’m so glad I went with Blake’s. I called and was able to stop by to get a free estimate. Fernando Candia took the time to look at the damage and he was very friendly and professional. We tentatively scheduled the drop off date and I drove home. An hour or two later, I got an email from Fernando with the quote. We finalized the drop off date and was able to get a ride home as well. Oscar is their detailer and also drives customers. Oscar is very nice as well!
Fernando kept in constant communication when they had my car. I was so impressed. He would email me with updates and it was great.
I also needed a pick-​up to get my car and Jessica helped with that request. Oscar came back to get me and my daughter. Oscar noticed that my Sirius station dashboard was falling off so he fixed that for me. How nice of him!!! He didn’t have to do that but he noticed it while he drove my car. It’s the small gestures that really make a business and their employees stand out.
The car looks brand new and they did a nice job. I couldn’t be happier.

Let’s cut to the chase — no one wants to be writing a review of an auto body shop. Because that usually means that you were in a car accident and that you’ll have to spend a ton of dough on car repairs. It’s sort of like writing a review of a trip to the dentist.
That being said, if you are in the unfortunate situation of needing an auto body shop, you’ll be in good hand with Blake’s.
I had my car towed here after a recent fender bender. They couldn’t have been nicer. Best of all, they were open on a Saturday (most auto body shops in the area can’t brag about that). What really impressed me was their customer service. The first thing they inquired about was my physical well-​being and the well-​being of everyone involved in the accident. It almost caught me off guard. And although I am perfectly fine, it was just very sweet of them to ask. As they told me later (and it’s true), «A car is just a car. It can be replaced. The important thing is that you’re ok.»
Long story short… my car wound up being beyond salvation (yes, it sucks — I know). But Blake’s Auto Body was super supportive and honest with me during the whole process. They kindly allowed me to store my vehicle at their property for a few days (free of charge) until a charity could swing by and pick up the car.
Anthony and Jason couldn’t have been friendlier or more empathetic. And while I hope to never get in another car accident, it’s good to know that businesses like Blake’s Auto Body are around just in case bad things go down. These guys got your back. Keep up the great work, guys!

The repair took twice as long as expected but SOOOO worth it!!! My car had some pretty bad damage from a wreck, the wheel well was completely caved in, there were dents and scrapes everywhere, it was in bad shape. Blakes even worked with us on the rental and made the process really easy and convenient. My car looks BRAND new!!! I think it might look better now than when I bought it! Staff was SUPER friendly too. They’re kind of tucked away from sight, but these are definitely pros.

Great company with convenient locations all across Sonoma and Marin counties! The staff are very very good at managing the busy schedule of car repairs. Especially at the San Rafael location which is incredibly tight in space! The mobile estimator (what other body shop has a mobile estimator?) is brilliant. He came out to my friends and colleagues homes and businesses to provide an estimate and take the car in to be worked on. I’ve sent all my friends and family in the North Bay to Blake’s Auto Body. They are certified to work on Mercedes and the only authorized body shop for Tesla in Sonoma and Marin County. Call Jordy Andros for a mobile estimate or bring your vehicle by one of the four (?) locations in San Rafael, Novato, Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa.

I can’t say enough about Blake’s. My new car got hit by a huge tour bus and the whole left side was badly damaged. Jason promised me the car would look like new and it sure does! He promised me the car on a specific date and it was ready when promised. They also returned the rental car for me. They are professional, efficient and will answer all your questions. I highly recommend them. This is my ‘go to’, place if I ever need any car repair done!

I just got some custom work done to my Jeep and couldn’t be happier. I came in on a Saturday to get a quote and Fernando took down my info and gave me a detailed breakdown the next Monday. I informed him how a certain body piece is removed and he revised his quote accordingly (to my benefit). That is honesty right there. All in all, I am very happy with the quality of the paint work and will definitely be back if I need more work done in the future. Thank you!

I brought my 2013 MINI Cooper JCW to Blake’s after someone ran into the car while it was parked in front of my house. The car had less than 5k miles on it, and I was really, really worried that it would not ever be the same again. Jason took it in and assured me they would make it like new again.
Blake’s partnered with Bay Street European to do the mechanical work, so I knew everything would be done to factory specs. They rebuilt the entire rear suspension, replaced 2 damaged wheels, and straightened and realigned the car.
Blake’s then cut away the entire rear quarter panel and put an entirely new panel in place using welds identical to how the factory does it. A new bumper and side skirt went on, and everything was painted to match and blended in to the existing panels. The finished result is amazing! You would never know it had ever been in an accident, and the car literally was put right back to how it would have been rolling off the factory floor.

From the first phone call to picking up my Audi station wagon, I could tell this was a business that has been built on customer service and quality work. When I dropped off my car, which needed a new bumper, the manager drove me to Enterprise to pick up my rental (as I was in a hurry to get to work.) They had my car for 2 days and when I picked it up, it looked as good as new and they had even cleaned it inside and out. They are tucked in down a side street
off of Francisco Blvd which is also why I know they have built their business from referrals-​you wouldn’t know they were there unless someone like me told you to find them if your car needs body work.

My car was the unfortunate victim of a neighborhood hit & run this August in the wee hours of the morning. I knew my insurance would take care of it, but wanted to feel comfortable with what auto body shop was going to do the work to fix my «baby».
After checking their reviews here on Unilocal,going to their website, and also watching their video on the Diamond Certified website, I felt comfortable making the decision to go with Blake’s, and my insurance company agreed.
It was an excellent decision — my car looks as good as new! Justin did a great job keeping me informed, and it was ready on the day & time promised. I would not hesitate to recommend Blake’s Auto Body to anyone!

Horrible body shop, made a massive mess of the insurance estimate. Have no idea what they are doing an overcharge the heck out of the customer. While trying to figure out why the estimate was so wrong me and the mechanic? got into an argument which ended with him gabbing his penis and asking me if i would like to see it. Worst experience to date with another human. If any recommends this place run away quickly!

I highly recommend Blake’s Auto Body to you. When a I had a minor run in with a Postal Delivery Truck, my insurance had Blake’s on their list of body shops, and when I called, Fernando was extremely helpful, and coordinated everything with the insurance, organized a rental car to pick me up when I left my car, and the repairs were done quickly. My car looked great!
Then, my second experience with Blake’s was even more pleasant. Someone had crunched my front bumper in a parking lot (no note, no oops sorry…). Fortunately the headlamps were not broken. I showed the damage to Fernando and he said they could likely push out the dent quickly for labor only for around $ 100 bucks. When I took it in they applied some heat and pushed it ship shape in 10 minutes. Then they said they would charge me $ 20,000 all in new 20’s. I said is counterfeit OK?
They did the repair gratis. I was floored. Needless to say, Blake’s Auto Body is staffed by awesome helpful people, and going anywhere else would be silly.

Blake’s is great! My car got hit by a, unbelievably, 3D printed flying drone. Blake’s sent Jordy out to my work to write an estimate, and they followed up with me a couple days later to schedule which was nice, as I have a busy schedule.
It was estimated to take 5 days, only took 4, and they were super courteous! The work looks great!!! I will definitely be back should I need any other body work.

I have to say I am surprised that any other Auto Body shops can exist in San Rafael. Blake’s is the best — the absolute best. Anthony and Jose are the most professional, no hassle, amazing service guys I have ever met in my life.
My car looked so good I was so thrilled. They worked with my insurance company and were smart, sweet and just a 5 star experience. I would never go anywhere else.
