This rock-n-roll drummer needed HELP –and fast. I woke up in early-September with both forearms, wrist and hands in excruciating pain and no strength on my left. About two weeks into a painful and scary prognosis, I found Bill Carey at Center for Balance. Bill is terrific! He listens and really thinks about the situation. For me, I could flex on daily routine and job activities but given a busy performance schedule, I really, really needed to PLAYTHROUGHMYRECOVERY if at all possible. Instead of just saying«stop everything for 6 months»(which the hand-specialist did say), Bill found a way to keep this working musician playing AND my injury healing. Yep, I had to make concessions BUT we did it! He knows his stuff — he rolls up his sleeves and really works with you and your situation. Bill is quite gifted at tuning into the person, problem and the goal of health & healing. Highly recommended for musicians! Aside from success with my injury, Bill’s wealth of knowledge toward how I can prevent problems by understanding body mechanics, and using exercises to balance overuse ‘that just happens’ through what I do is invaluable. Really, if you have an injury, just need a tune-up or want to get ripped — Just CALL Bill! I was so lucky to find Bill Carey in the nick of time. Just before my old age kicked in. I came to him with aches and pains, back and knees, and if a few months, aches and pains were gone, and I can face my next big birthday pain free and much stronger than I was on my last birthday… do I recommend him… you bet I do.
