My favorite thing about this place is the teacher deals and although they are great I do have to comment on how one of the employees is more than rude. Disrespectful and on her high horse and when calling to ask if they carry something she numerously demanded that she was too busy to check the inventory.

This store is probably one of the worst retail stores I’ve been to in a while. Most of the shelves were empty, the floors were littered with stuff, wet carpet stains on the carpets everywhere, and worst of all employees who weren’t very nice.

One checker on a Saturday afternoon and the dumb bitch goes to the parking lot to look at a dog in the car…20 people in line no checker. Manager should b fired. Stupid people should b supervised. I recommend going to the other dollar tree.

A Dollar Tree in Marin County. Who woulda thunk it. Once you get past the stereotype of the county, you see that most residents do not fit into the demographic of rich people with their castle, BMW, hot tub, Grateful Dead collection, and private marijuana field who would rather keep all the non-Marinites out. A lot of them are looking for the best deal: Why pay $ 2.50 for an item that you can get for $ 1? And for them, one of the options is Dollar Tree. Merchandise, it’s a typical Dollar Tree: food(frozen and packaged), office supplies, household goods, toys, health care products. All low end, divided between major brands and off-brands. Most are good quality. Those who feel like they’re being priced out of the county would say«Thank God for Dollar Tree!» Those people, and others with extra spending money but are still looking for the best deal(if I was living here again, I’d be one of them), are likely to come here in spite of the big negative: It’s cramped. The square footage is small, and they’re able to pack it all in. This means that the aisles are narrower and there’s little open space to maneuver. The parking lot also has little room; a minivan would have a difficult time getting in and out. I’m considering what the company has to work with, though; there are not a lot of places in San Rafael where a discount store can afford the monthly lease payments. You take what you can get. Dollar Tree is a place for people who are not devotees of Mollie Stone’s, are not anti-chain store, and want to get the most for their money. You can get more stuff for less moola here.

This place is just… a little cluttered, just a little. I’m use to going to the one in Novato. Depending on what day it is, you might get a friendly cashier or you might get one that’s felling bleh for the day. I just usually get what I need and get out of here. I don’t persue this one like some others. It’s ok.

Surprisingly, it is very organized, even though the store and parking is somewhat cramped. However, I am thankful that there even is a Dollar Tree nearby. This is a great place to stop by BEFORE hitting up Target or Walgreens for office supplies, cleaning tools, hardware, travel-size toiletries, etc. After spending $ 3.50 on 4 manila envelopes at Target, I was very happy to spend $ 1 for 5 manila envelopes at Dollar Tree.

This place is hit or miss as far as customer service goes. I’ve had the friendliest cashiers and the rudest, just depends on what phase the moon is in I guess. There never seems to be enough employees, standing in line for 10 – 15 minutes in a place that’s designed to have no more than 2 customers in each line is irritating. Really one 3 minute transaction pays for each employees hourly wage, at least always have two cashiers open. The store is usually clean and stocked for whatever holiday is going on, great for crafty kids things and cheap goodie bag toys. Never eat the food from here but they seem to have a good selection. Great for party supplies for birthdays and baby showers. Parking is weird, most customers have a hard time figuring out where the lines are or they have to do a 5 point turn to get out of them.

Probably the most organized dollar tree that I’ve been too. I came here one afternoon looking for fake flowers and arts and crafts stuff. I feel this location doesn’t sell as much decorative stuff such as baskets, plants, candles. They did however have a decent section for kitchenware.

It’s your average Dollar Store. When they first opened the staff was very courteous. For some odd reason they have new staff that do not know the first thing about customer service. On May 9th at 2:20pm clerk: Roxanne was left alone at the store. That’s right, the only employee running the store. The line was backed-up and had over 15 customers trying to check-out! The crowd began to voice their opinions and poor Roxanne was very professional, apologized and worked as quickly as possible. We’re talking Senior Citizens yelling and babies crying. Roxanne literally had to get on her cell phone to call for help. Come to find out… the other employee was supposed to start work at 2pm and strolled in 20-MINUTES LATE! Can’t believe I waited in line at a Dollar Store for over 20 minutes?! I was that close to dropping my items and walking out, luckily I stuck around to find out the cause of the delay. Another visit on May 11th, While I was still shopping, I witnessed a clerk: Christina(not in uniform — Bleached hair and orange nails) rudely talking back to a customer. I didn’t want to deal with the same treatment so I dropped my basket and left the store. As I started my car, I saw an employee almost run over a customer! Employee: Justin(drives a corny red Miata) running into the store… 20-MINUTES LATE! If this is the way Dollar Tree runs its business, I Highly DONOT Recommend Shopping Here!!! Quality of Customer Service is the worst I’ve witnessed and literally… Dangerous for customers walking back to their cars!!!

Dollar Tree Stores are even in san rafael. i am so surprised! store has the usual items: frozend and canned foods, alcohol. sodas, candies, cookies, sundries, small housewares, kid’s games, writing utensils, ice cream, auto supplies, meds, cosmetics, etc. all for $ 1. service with a smile here, thus 4 stars. buys: –reading glasses, nope, out of my size –screw drivers(1) -«Xtra energy shot»(1) –seen the ads, bought a clone to try it out. notes: –plenty of parking –shoppers here drive and park like maniacs –associates here cool and mellow.
