I met Nora last year when we booked our wedding venue nearby and I wanted to use a local florist. My MOH actually went to a few floral shops nearby but nothing really catched my fancy. We happened to stop by her shop and spoke with her and petted her dog, and she was doing this baby’s breath bouquet and flowers for another bride, so I was intriqued. We started talking and I sent her ideas of what I wanted and set up a budget. While I sent her my ideas of what I wanted and exactly what I needed for the wedding(bouquet, corsage, pins, boutonnière, centerpieces, etc), I let her have some creative freedom as I wanted to make sure everything is on budget and that we try to use in-season flowers. So yes, a flower(peony) I asked for was not included but she did inform me ahead of time that those were either a.) out of season or b.) very expensive which would throw off the items that I wanted done. So I am well aware that I may not exactly get what I think I wanted, but she assured me that everything will be tastefully done. I know it’s a lot of blind faith type of trusting, but sometimes you just have to do it. The night before my wedding, she emailed me a photo of my centerpiece which I thought looked awesome. She told me that the other ones will look very similar to that but just a tad smaller. And you know what, when I saw my bouquet on my wedding day, I was just so astound on how beautiful it was. I was and am still super happy with it. I’m trying to dry it out so that I can keep it for a while longer, but we did take a lot of photos with it, so I will always have that. Both myself and MOH love her corsage. She was in tears because it was so pretty and she told me how much it meant to her that I picked out something so beautiful for her to wear. The centerpieces were just so beautiful too and complimented our casual french country-side theme. I had 8 of them made(one for our sweetheart table) and 7 of them in other tables. I raffled the 7 of them away to guests after the wedding and our lucky guests were just so amazed and happy that they got to take home the beautiful centerpieces. Thank you Nora!

Unbelievable and not in a good way! I ordered the Zen Artistry, balloon, and a teddy bear for my nephew who has been in the hospital for surgery. They sent him a lilies arrangement that is not allowed in hospitals. Being a florist, you would think that they would know what’s acceptable, and a heavily fragrant flower like Lilies would be out of line. Speaking of out of line, it was supposed to be Orchids! I don’t care what generic disclosure they give you after you make the purchase of some substitution BS! Here’s the icing on the cake, they forgot to send the balloon and teddy bear. I had to call them them to see why? For spending over $ 100, I feel violated and fully taken advantage of!

I’ve tried multiple times to purchase flowers from this spot, but the owner clearly does not want the business… A very limited selection of flowers. Poor customer service if she even acknowledges you. Terrible hours… Opens late, closes early. Only a few days a week. I own a business in the area and walking by I have twice been told by the owner that she was not able to help me with a simple bouquet because she needed to go make deliveries. The next time I inquired about flowers on a regular basis and she basically said they would be pricey(perhaps to how I was dressed that day, because they are NOT pricey in general) It’s a shame because the convenient location has the right potential so hopefully she can work on it and turn things around.

The company is way too small to try to be handling delivery services on busy holidays. When ordering, they should at least let you know that they cannot guarantee delivery to be on-time, or even the SAMEDAY! For Mother’s Day, I ordered online on a Wednesday, for the following Saturday delivery(within the same zip code). By late Saturday afternoon, no delivery. So I called and they said they were very backed up and told me the flowers would be delivered by Sunday. They didn’t even contact me to let me know. Not trusting them, I called back Sunday morning, and they COULDN’T FIND my order. They had to take it down and get my payment information again. Flowers were delivered on Sunday afternoon. And to top it all off… The arrangement didn’t look anything close to what was pictured on my order. Very disappointing.

I ordered flowers for my daughter’s birthday and used the pictures on this florists web site as the basis for the order, making some changes in the flowers and the type of pot. The florist sent exactly what we discussed, and they were there right on time. I will definitely use Gardenia Florist Again.

Gardenia Flowers is under new management; and Nora is absolutely wonderful! She is a painter, and her artistry shows in the arrangement she created oday: they are cheering my entire apartment. She is open, friendly, generous and kind as well as creative: an absolute gem. It is a relief to be able to buy locally, and I shall be returning soon.

This review is for online ordering specifically. I ordered from the website, received a confirmation of the order, and then called the florist(left voicemail) to let them know that it was ok to leave the flowers on my girlfriends doorstep so her daughter didn’t have to answer the door. I never received a call back, the flowers were never delivered, and received an automated email the next day with a vague message that the order failed because the florist wasn’t available. Would have been nice to at least get a call. I did get my money refunded by the automated system.

Terrible product & terrible customer service! I ordered online for Mother’s Day deliveries and couldn’t possibly be more disappointed, ripped off, and embarrassed by what my loved ones received. One order was never delivered, and when I inquired five days later with the recipient and discovered they never came, I called the florist directly. She was rude, claimed the order had been delivered(when it had Not) and did not offer any apology or recourse. After speaking with her delivery person, she called me back and agreed to send a replacement delivery. The $ 60 flowers I ordered were pictured as full white roses with beautiful purple accents(favorites of the recipient). What was delivered(five days late for Mother’s Day) was a hideous cheap bouquet of orange and yellow with Gerber Daisies and other cheap flowers, with one random purple flower, that I wouldn’t pay $ 5 for at a grocery store. The other order placed was pictured as beautiful live flowers presented in a beautiful basket, meant for a classy lady with great taste who could plant them in her garden. Again I paid $ 60, but what was delivered were three small potted flowers purchased at Trader Joes for $ 2.99 each(I saw them there, and the florist admitted it when I called her out on it). They also delivered a Mylar balloon and cheap chocolates, which I did not request, because that would be too tacky for the recipient. When I tried to politely explain that I had seen pictures of what was delivered, I was met with rude excuses, and was never apologized to or even permitted to finish a sentence. Please don’t waste your money on this terrible business. I’ve contacted the online ordering service to let them know how they are being represented by this florist. Neither company will ever receive my business again!

The lady who manages/owns this establishment needs to rethink her career. After ordering an arrangement for Valentine’s Day for my wife and receiving an email confirmation mind you, the flowers never arrived to my wife’s job. When I called to ask when they would be delivered, some extremely rude woman told me that my card was declined. When I told her that was impossible, she hung up on me! I immediately called back and asked to speak to a manager– of course the same rude, curt lady got on the other end and started talking without allowing me to respond or ask any questions! I told her to be quiet and reminded her that I’m a customer and that’s no way to talk or behave to anyone. She finally admitted that they couldn’t deliver due to the work load on Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, the woman who works here could use some lessons in customer service and pleasantries. Both times I’ve stopped into her flower spot she was surly and curt when I asked if she carried gardenias!

Nice little florist on the corner stuck to the side of Wells Fargo. The older gentleman here is very nice and helpful, he didn’t skip a beat to come help me make my own bouquet with some beautiful, fresh flowers. Their roses are awesome. Their prices aren’t too bad, especially if you consider the quality of flowers and arrangements that you get. A great florist.
