Sorry to say this chain totally went out of business on June. I’ll really miss both the Northgate and Strawberry Village stores.

I found it on Unilocal and paid a visit yesterday. I bought Leuchtturm1917 notebooks, lovely envelopes and a fun lock. I’ll definitely come back when I have time. Bad news: this location is closing! Good news: EVERYTHING20% OFF!!! All the fixtures are on sale It will close at the end of June, so hurry up!

I’ve never been there before until today, but it is so well laid out that I was able to find everything I needed like I was a regular. I’m going to make this my go-to place whenever I need office supplies. Staff were very nice as well

Stumbled upon Ideal Stationers when I was visiting an adjacent store. I’m so happy I did! This place has so many good and unique office products that are both decorative, and useful. Not the standard monotone things you’ll find in a big box Office store. in addition to office supplies they have scrap book, photo album materials and school supplies. I’ll be back to pick out more cool stuff.

It’s a large store in a strip mall, and they stock many items that can’t be found in the big box stores, at reasonable prices. I always get 28 pound coin envelopes(everybody else has 24 pound at the same price), large shipping boxes(everybody else are thinner), labels(everybody else has the same price for Avery, Ideal also has some excellent off-brand labels), unusual items(led magnifying desk lamp that works, pens you won’t see anywhere else, zillions other), novelty items(thousands of things you’ve never seen before). I continuously use some items and they restock them quickly. The staff is very helpful and special orders are easily and quickly placed when needed. Yes I go to the other big box stores a lot, and shop online for my biz supplies, but Ideal smooths out the edges very well.

What a crazy, funky stationary, gift, card and office supply store! I came in to kill some time and left with a bag full of stuff! They had these great arts and crafts kits for kids that make GREAT gifts for birthdays and other events, I saw some really fun lunch boxes(but I restrained myself and didn’t buy…), All of your basic office supply stuff including tons of different types of paper, stationary, writing and art pens, plus a whole section in the front with holiday and event cards and gifts. It has a bit of a crazy feel inside — kind of like visiting your eccentric Aunt’s place — but the staff was friendly and helpful, the isles were large enough to move in and see stuff without colliding with others, and there was enough variety of items to keep me entertained for 45 minutes! Not only that, but I thought the kid related items they carried were better than what I’ve encountered when I’m just a few doors down at Child’s Delight toy store. I’m a fan! Next time I need a present for a kid, supplies for my home office, card for a friend, or just have time to kill in the area I’ll be heading back.

Ideal Stationers has always been one of my favorite stores. So much so that I worked there the summer after I graduated! They always have something fun to take home, and their pen selection is awesome. They also have a decent selection of actual office supplies that are hard to find in the big box stores.

I like supporting our local stores before having to go to a barn of any sort. These guys have everything and are very helpful and courteous.

I like supporting this store rather than going to Office Depot or Staples because it’s one of the few surviving businesses in this small neighborhood mall. They get five stars for carrying PeeChees all the way until the company stopped making them last year(No! I would have bought 20 more if I had known…) Minus one star for a bad experience I had here almost two years ago when I was planning a party and asked the lady behind the counter if they had chinese food boxes. She looked at me like I was crazy and then snidely suggested that I go to the«Chinese store –they can help you!» I left, thinking that there really was another store. No, there was a Chinese food restaurant. Yes, that woman was racist and proud of it. Thankfully, she doesn’t work here anymore. For anyone who’s interested, they have a huge selection of Chinese food boxes(yes, the cute, decorated ones) of varying sizes at Michael’s in the mall near Longs.
