Lotus Spa

This is a great place to steal an hour OR TWO just for yourself. I must admit, I’m a massage fanatic. I go all over the place in search for a nice massage to get a good rub at least twice or sometimes thrice a week. I’m picky. I find some of the places I’ve been to, from the outside, it’s grand, adorned with impressive pictures and prints on the walls. Inside, you find it just as tranquil. I’d think I came to the right place. After one hour or so of massaging, I walked out feeling that someone just rubbed massage oil on my back. I didn’t get a massage. Have you ever experienced this? Well, I have, many times.
Well, not anymore. I think I found the place here. The ambiance was very relaxing. The rooms were spotless. The staff and masseuses were very caring and attentive to my needs. They have 6 rooms there, so I once had my girlfriends there for a bridal shower. It was a great experience, and not one single one came out unhappy. We all tried different types of massages that this place offered (shiatsu, deep tissue, swedish and muscle relaxation). Their price seems very reasonable. Most importantly, every time when I walk out of there, I felt all my kinks have been untied and straightened out. That’s why people go get a massage, isn’t it?
I am thrilled to find this place, FINALLY! I have became their regular now.

This past weekend was my anniversary. I wanted to surprise my husband by bringing him out of the city to try this massage place referred by a friend — Lotus Spa.
We got there at 11am, greeted by a friendly receptionist. She was polite, courteous and attentive to our needs. After washing up, we were sent into a room with two tables ready for us. The room had a very soothing ambiance and the music was set to the right tone feel. Shortly after, two masseuses came in and started working on us. My husband asked for stronger hands while I settled for a milder rub. The masseuses didn’t disappoint us. Even my husband was very pleased with the service (and he’s very picky when it comes to massages).
Overall, the experience was great. The staff was cordial and professional. Atmosphere was relaxing. Best of all, the cost was affordable. It cost us $ 60 per person per hour (of course tips not included). I’ve been telling my friends about this place and will definitely go back for more pampering soon.
