The best hair treatment I’ve ever received has been at this shop! My curl pattern transformed for the better when I got a Keratin treatment here. It may be pricey but 8 months later, my hair is still bouncy and healthy! If you have curly hair Lucrecia will treat you right! I highly recommend this shop!

As a visitor to CA from NC, I went to Lucrecia’s saloon for a wash, conditioning treatment, and blow out. She was marvelous. Did just what I needed and created a very becoming style. Loved her professionalism and ability to relate to a new customer. Will return on my next CA visit. No on the road hair worries. CB

Lucrecia is amazing! She worked wonders on my hair. I always had such troubles when it came to my curly thick hair and getting haircuts. None of the salons I went to seemed to know how to cut curly hair I always walked out feeling disappointed and thinking what a waste of time and money! Then I met lucrecia who takes the time too listen to what style or cut I am going for. I have gotten soooo many compliments on how my hair looks and feels :) I am one happy camper! Lucrecia will forever be the one and only that touches this hair! Give her try you won’t be disappointed

I visited Lucrecia’s last week for a wash, deep conditioning, trim and blowout. My hair in is natural state is very kinky, frizzy and thick. Lucretia did a wonderful job at straigthening my hair. I was left silky, and frizzy free! I loved the products that were used in my hair and wil definitley be ordering some! I havent seen my hair so straight in a looonnnnngg time ! THANKSLUCRECIA!

Lucrecia made me love my hair again! I recently relocated from the Northeast and my hair has not reacted well to the CA water. I was always wearing my hair in a bun because I couldn’t style it right. It was frizzy and just an absolute mess. I’m 2 visits in and Lucrecia has transformed my hair! I’ve gotten so many compliments and know I’m going in the right direction to take better care of my hair. I am a fan.

If I could give her less than one star I would. She pulled my hair repeatedly even after I asked her on 2 different occasions to be careful handling my hair. She was rude and abrasive and she complained about my hair texture as she was doing my hair. I was under the impression that she did African American hair. I have been going to Dominican hair dressers for over 10 years and she gives them all a bad name. Even if she was the last hairdresser in the Bay Area, I still wouldn’t go back.

Being used to the Dominican blowouts from NY, I was happy to found this salon on Unilocal.I’ve got the curly(3B/3C) type hair, and I NY often mistaken for a Dominican. Lucrecia was very nice, and I enjoyed the elderly ladies getting their perm done. After washing the hair, and noticed the lack of product and type of product going into my hair I already knew the outcome. ended up looking like«Lion O». After the hooded dryer and she took out the roller set, she herself made the comment«Oh I’ve had no idea your hair was going to come out like this… if I knew I would of done… blah blah». She had no idea how to handle my hair, nevertheless I’ve had a good head(massage) wash. I will not come back though.

I have been going to Lucrecia for the last eight months. She consistently does a wonderful job whatever the type of service I need for the day; whether it is hair coloring, keratin treatment or a simple wash & set.

Lucrecia is amazing! Tried her for 2 months and decided I’ll never go to any other, she is so good. A precision haircut and wonderful care. I just know my hair is now going to finally grow! Thanks, Lucrecia! I can hardly wait until she returns from DR to continue her care. Can’t do without her

Lucrecia is good at what she does. she is good with helping maintaining weave. she uses her own deep conditioner that keeps the hair soft. she is also very good with hair cuts. I try to go to her whenever as I can, as she is located in San Rafael and I live in Santa Rosa. but totally worth the drive. Thanks Lucrecia!

Lucrecia is a warm, engaging, talented hair stylist whose goal is to help a woman look her very best. I’ve been going to her for about six months for color(red!), highlights and cut, and I now get more compliments than I’ve ever had before. Lucrecia really listens, and I walk out with a style I can enjoy and manage until the next visit — which is saying a lot, as I have very straight, fine hair. Another real plus is that Lucrecia’s rates are reasonable, especially when compared to other Marin stylists. I recommend her without reservation!

Lucrecia is a professional and an overall good hair stylist. I have very curly hair(and tons of it) and went to her several times for Dominican blowouts. Unfortunately, however, I never really knew what to expect: sometimes my hair would come out soft and sleek, and other times I could barely get my hands through it. I don’t know what accounted for the difference. My overall tip: Lucrecia is good, but I have had better Dominican blowouts from other stylists.

I had an «emergency» updo situation — I decided at the last minute I wanted to get an updo. The morning of a friends wedding I made frantic calls around and Lucrecia squeezed me in just in time! I asked her to just work her magic, and she came up with something I never would have dreamed of! It turned out just gorgeous, and held my super long, thick hair up all night long. Would go back again in a heartbeat!

My girlfriend has gone to many salons, in search of the dream stylist, and pays 80 — 100 for a cut she didn’t ask for. Every time she would come home upset because they didn’t cut it the way she wanted it. I decided to take this challenge on for her birthday. So after much research I thought I would give Lucrecia a try.. .. annnnnnnd she is AWESOME! Plenty of parking, great atmosphere but most of all my baby was happy. I could tell before the cut and style was even done that she was enjoying herself. My baby is a beautiful woman but damn she looked bangin’ fresh out the seat!!!

Lucrecia knows how to work with and cut thick, wavy hair. We that a are blessed with such locks often find it so difficult to deal with especially if the cut is horrible or just plain WRONG. Lucresia somehow works her magic and poof your hair and cut is just what u had dreamed of. need I say more? the shop is basic, not like the salons that charge one for the extra décor, you pay for the cut and style! plus u get a funny Latin woman with a ton of humor!! at least try this salon once .

I am originally from New York City and for the longest i was looking for a dominican hair stylist because they really know how to take care hair of ur real hair as well as weave! Lucrecia does such a good job taking care of my extensions! She keeps them soft and mangeable! She also does great coloring and always blow dries and flat irons my hair really well! A+! so ladies with weave/extensions, natural hair, relaxed/chemical hair(she does it all) set up an appointment and give her a try! U wont be disappointed!

I moved to the bay area 2 months ago and was in search for a Dominican Stylist. I found Lucrecia a week after moving here and I absolutely love her. She’s fast, flexible, dependable, has a great personality, and takes great care of my hair. She uses authentic products and is really into healthy hair. If you are searching for a Dominican Stylist in the Bay area, try her. You will be pleased.

I absolutely love Lucrecia! I am African American with a white mama so I always wore my hair natural. It did what it wanted and that worked great until I hit my mid-30’s and decided my days of big, curly hair were over. All my sisters-in-law live in NY and spend their Saturdays at the Dominican hair salons in Queens. Once I was back east and they took me. Wow! Gorgeous straight hair with no chemicals! But where to find that here in northern CA? A google search led me to Lucrecia three years ago. She is fabulous! My hair is soft, shiny and totally healthy. I have a ton of hair so spend more than an hour under the dryer(we learned the hard way when she put me under for less time and then had to blow me dry forever… and my scalp hurt!). My hair lasts for weeks. She has a great Spanish and English clientele, a fun bubbly personality, and great music playing. It’s totally worth the hour drive! And did I mention how reasonable her prices are? $ 50 or less for a blowout, $ 120 for deep condition, cut, color and blowout. She uses great products from her country, which she offered to sell me but I said no and she’s never bugged me again. If you have ‘ethnic’ hair as they say and want an alternative to standard salons with straightening combs and chemicals… get on over to Lucrecia!
