these folks cannot be relied upon to cut your hair at the time they commit to cutting it. Today was the third time I have confirmed an appointment, got them to confirm it will actually happen when they promised, only to show up and have to wait an extra 15 – 30 mins. Today was the last time for me since I really did not have the time to wait and had already rearranged my schedule for the day

Anna still rocks it, price jump to $ 21 (still a bargain), includes a warm towel now, and it’s better (and easier) to check it with the app, no more phone calls. yea!

B.L. fixed my after a bad haircut. I was worried because it was already so short I didn’t know if anything could be done. He was able to salvage it, and I love the way my hair is now. Thanks so much. I’d never guess I could get such a nice haircut at Supercuts.

I have been a SuperCuts customer for the last 7+ years. I have frequented various locations, but this San Rafael location is closest to my house. This particular location has messed up my appointments repeatedly. Today I waited 45 minutes for my scheduled time and then was told they made a mistake and someone else was in front of me. The person who told me this was not even working when I arrived and confirmed my cut time. To make matters worse, they have no empathy and speak little english. Terrible customer service!!! Given the opportunity, I would go to a different location.

The lady distorted my heir.
She didn’t know what she was doing so I had to help her the entire time.
At the end she thought she was done, I ha her go back on my left side and there was huge parts that she missed. «Oops»
I made sure to keep my receipt so I could go get a better person do it at a different store for free.
Ive all my life just gotten my heir cut at supper cuts and I’m thinking I should change that habit and not go back anymore because of this one lady.
(On the bigger side, and didn’t even speak English)

Called ahead on a Sunday afternoon (+1 for being open) and held an apt. Arrived 15 min late with 3yr old in two (+1) for not making drama about it… and after a 10 minute wait had a great haircut. They took time to get the trim right, confirmed my desires and you know when you get home and find those missed hairs where your ears meet your head? Well — didn’t find any.
Just moved to Corte Madera and it looks like I’ll be driving a couple miles to this shop instead of the one close.

Love the haircut I got. Went from long hair to short and sassy. Mindy did a fabulous job !! She also gave my daughter some long side sweep bangs that she loves. Did just as good if not better cuts than what I use to pay at high end salon and they were very friendly and took their time doing the cuts.

Decent place to get a haircut… It’s only $ 20 and I have never been disappointed, but I am not picky about my hair… I just went the other week though, and I am really happy with my cut!

I just relocated back to Marin and my work schedule is hectic at times. So I never really have time to make an appointment days ahead. So Supercuts works great for me. I’m usually able to call in the day I want a cut. I go and see Anie (pronounced Anna). She knows how to cut MEN & WOMEN’s hair. My ex was a stylist for an Aveda Salon. I’ve been getting my haircut every 10 – 14 days and in my 32 years alive I’ve been to my fair share of barbers, stylists @ salons and chain places like Supercuts. Anie does a wonderful job! But if it’s your first time, some advice. Make sure to tell them and explain what kind of cut you want if you get it a specific way. People there not mind readers lol I’ve been in her chair numerous times when people come in for the first cut with the stylist sit in the chair and they don’t know what they want. What may look good to your stylist may not look good to you! We ALL have our own opinions… For example I have my haircut done with scissors on top, I get a low tapered fade on sides starting at ½ inch and fade/​blend up! Anie does it WONDERFUL! I’m happy with the cut and the $ 18 price before TIP makes it even BETTER!

They are great. Everybody’s name there ends with an «e». Like Lee is the manager. Anie works there. Jimmy quit. There is Danny who works there. They all have a good sense of humour and do a great job with the hair styling and cutting.

My 7-​year-​old is weird. He LIKES getting haircuts.
I promised him a week ago that I’d bring him for a cut somewhere, anywhere, but as the weekend went on and we spent the day getting wild at the Bay Area Discovery Museum all day, followed by ice cream in Sausalito, Sunday evening approached and I was beginning to think I wouldn’t be able to fulfill my promise to him.
All the barber shops and hair places I called late on Sunday afternoon were closed. But I found this place through the Supercuts web site and they saved mommy’s a$$.
Son, never let anyone tell you that your precious mother ever breaks a promise!
Only reason for docking them a star is that they charge $ 18 for kids cuts, same price as grownups. But on Sunday at closing time, I’m in no position to be choosy.

I used to spend a ridiculous amount on haircuts but truly, as long as Lee works at this location, I will go nowhere else! What a relief to be able to have an affordable haircut that I love and that takes less than a half hour! (BTW-​I have not tried other stylists).
In this economy, I am happy to share my «secret» with everyone I know.
Even my little kiddies look forward to having their hair cut here. Truly, I am so grateful that I found this great, affordable location!

Seems like they only hire people of Asian descent but that’s OK because they do a great job for cheap. The guy who runs it is very attentive and even spent a few finishing minutes on me as my cutter was new. It’s my go-​to place every 5 – 6 weeks and I rarely wait.

I was shocked to see that my Supercuts only had a cumulative rating of 2 stars/​Danny has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 2 years, which, in itself, speaks to my satisfacation.
I often receive compliments on my haircut, which is a cute chin length bob. Danny cuts it a bit shorter in the back, longer in the front, and takes extra time to create some definition after the initial cut is made.
Before the holidays this year, I decided to go back to my natural dark «ashy» blonde hair after having Danny color it dark brown for 2 years. I, mistakenly, thought that this might be a tough job for the Supercuts crew, so I went to an Aveda salon in my neighborhood that had gotten good reviews on Unilocal.Boy was I disappointed. The color that the stylist applied to help me transition back to my natural color was completely botched. And the cut looked jagged and rough. I returned to Supercuts in San Rafael, where Danny restored my haircut. Many of us have heard stories of folks getting «botched» jobs at «cheap» salons and then getting them fixed at pricier establishments… but how about the other way around, like in my case?
I have not corrected the color yet, as my hair was quite damaged from all of the chemicals. However, as my roots go out, I will turn, again, to Supercuts to help me transition back to my natural color.
I have a great rapport with Danny. When I returned from the Aveda salon, I felt as though I had «cheated» on him. He immediately asked me what had happened, as he remembered that I wanted to go back to my natural color and saw that my hair was dark brown.
I particularly appreciate Danny because he is professional and friendly, and I am also comfortable reading my magazine or book during the cut

This Supercuts has the dubious distinction of being the LAST Supercuts that I will ever, ever visit.
Years ago, I’d go to the Supercuts on Fillmore Street in the city. It was cheap and good. I moved to Marin and decided to give this place a try 2 days before I started a new job.
I left there looking halfway like Frankenstein and halfway like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. My hair was so messed up that my head looked like I had either an dent in it or just suffered a major head wound.
I went home. My wife laughed. My cat laughed. I nearly cried.
Drove back to this place, walked in, and the manager could tell right away why I was there. «Who did this?» he asked. This is not a joke. He took me right in and fixed it up.
Yes, he did help me. But… wow. Why even risk going back?

Danny cut my hair last time. Did a great job at a good price. Have had a coupla other guys there but don’t recall their names. My wife also had her hair cut there two days ago by one of the guys and it looks great (she has a short and sassy cut). I’ll go back.
