Miss Matrisha’s Dance Classes

My granddaughter has been dancing with Miss Matrisha for 2 years now. I am happy to report here on Unilocal that Miss Matrisha is a remarkable teacher of young children for lots of reasons. She certainly knows how to engage children in the delight of dance, and she uses lots of creative methods to do that. She seems to be calm by nature, and is consistently positive in her discipline style — using a very kind voice and a clear way of expressing herself to her students. My granddaughter has developed her listening skills and her ability to pay attention and stay focused while taking these ballet classes. And she has learned to feel the music in her body and express it through movement and dance, whether it is in these classes, or at home with her own music playing, or out and about at birthday parties or sleep overs. I am grateful that we discovered these classes that Miss Matrisha teaches. My granddaughter will be benefiting forever, even if ballet is something she doesn’t stay with as she gets older.

Ms. Matrisha is consistent, communicates well with parents, and has a good balance of fun and structure for kids. My daughter really loved both classes she participated in and is looking forward to Princess Camp!

My 5-​year old daughter has taken dance classes from Miss Matrisha since she was two years old and she loves it! All week she dances around the house and she never stops talking about Miss Matrisha. Matrisha has an amazing way with the kids. She is patient, yet challenging, and the classes are always fun.
