Working with Barbara was one of the most amazing, comforting experience’s I have ever had. I recently had surgery for breast cancer and was terrified about loosing my hair. My close friend insisted I call Barbara for help. She was warm, welcoming and reassuring on the phone. «Don’t worry– I’ll take care of you». «Come at the end of the day and we can take as much time as we need». She did that and more. When I arrived– she hugged me and I felt calm. I knew I was in the right place! We tried on wigs. which made this experience fun. She suggested she cut my hair to about the same length as the wigs we tried on, so I would get used to a shorter look… we chose several wigs with my hair color, so It would not be obvious that I was wearing a wig. Finally Barbara cut and styled my hair to a better style than I had walked in with. I am still delighted every time I look in the mirror. It looks wonderful! She is so talented, warm, kind and caring. You are not just a person with cancer. I returned for my second visit to try on the wigs I ordered and Barbara had found a new wig that she thought I would like more. I did, so she ordered it. I had the opportunity to meet Barbara when I went with my mom to help her chose a wig. I knew how worried my mom was about this process so I wanted to be there to support her. Barbara made my mom feel at ease instantly. She had so many choices of great quality wigs. Barbara had chosen colors and styles that matched my mothers own hair and her personality perfectly. She shared her knowledge with my mother and myself which impressed us both. I am thrilled that my mom was introduced to her at the right time. I felt secure that she was in good hands.
