I arrived at 12:20pm on a Thursday afternoon as the owner was just arriving as well and unloading his car in front of the establishment. Mind you, they’re supposed to open at 11am in which I’ve tried coming here twice around that time for which they were still closed. I waited for 15 minutes as they were having problems rebooting their computer until one of the teens stated that the computer was not working and that they cannot take my order. Keep in mind, you have to pay for street parking and it was also in the middle of a work day in which my time is money. The workers barely speak English and I was upset that not only was my time wasted, but they couldn’t offer me a measly $ 2.50 drink that I requested. Unless you understand the basis of running a business, especially in Marin County, I suggest you look into time management & organizational skills and teaching your teen workers on customer conduct.

Yummy Boba. Have been here 5 times since it opened, all the flavors we’ve tried (3 of us x 5 visits) have been delicious, Thai Milk Tea with tapioca is our current favorite flavor. However, the store’s name is wrong, nothing Quickly about anything here. Just waited 20 minutes for our 3 drinks — again. And now the order came out wrong :-(
Not sure how long they plan to stay open since sign outside is still a banner, printed sign inside is ¹⁄₃ taped over, and «new items» menu is hand written. Very temporary feeling and not professional/​businesslike at all.
Would love explanations of the different types and extras, still much is a mystery being discovered hit or miss. Wish there was another bubble tea place nearby, they have us captive.

Quickly is my favorite place for Boba tea. I get green tea with Honeydew and of course the Boba. The service is good every time. I’m addicted :-)

I love this place! Pretty much the only boba place in Marin. I’d definitely love to see some more so I don’t have to go all the way into San Rafael for my bubble tea fix. Chewy tapioca, fresh milk tea, and of course– those cool vacuum sealed cups with the thick straws. Adorable!

It gives you the Boba fix, but it’s not amazing. I’ve tried multiple Boba places around marin/​sf area and have had better than here. Today however, I had a kind server. He accidentally made the wrong drink and made a customer another one that she wanted. He let me have the drink and made me mine, but in a larger size, because I waited for 15 minutes just order and the another 10 to get my drink.

I love that the sign says gourmet there is nothing about quickly! If you wanna good/​gourmet boba go to Tpartea in Northgate Mall!

I’m giving them 5 stars because we finally have a proper boba place in Marin, and I’ve never had a bad experience here. I hope we’ll get some of the special drinks at other Quickly locations like Okinawa brown sugar, but for now I’m happy with my usual coconut milk tea. My husband recently fell in love with their taro milk tea. It’s the best boba you’re gonna get without crossing a bridge!

I Literally Waited 30 Minutes For Just ONE ORDER! There Was No Apologies For The Wait, Or Any Eye Contact. Bad Customer Service, Which Is Unfortunate Because The Drinks Are Pretty Good Here.

Jasmine boba tea. Yum. Need I say more? My daughter and I come here 2 – 3 times a week. Usually it takes less than a few minutes to get our order.
Updating rating. It was a five but I showed up the other day and there was no boba!

The owner is super nice ! I come on a daily basis. I’m so glad there a quickly in San Rafael !!! Thai tea and coconut snow are amazing

I rounded up because it’s Marin. Ordinarily I would reserve the 5 star rating for boba tea places where you get good quality tea and real fruits like lychee in the flavored teas. But those places are at least 17 miles away. Quickly is like Tapioca Express, they’re perfectly satisfactory to scratch a boba tea craving.
They kindly accommodated my request for ¼ of the regular amount of sweetener. Service was fast and the boba texture was fine.

Their drinks are okay and their boba was kind of hard? It wasn’t as chewy as I thought it would be which is weird…
I went to this location multiple times last week around 1230 on my breaks at work because it says they open at 11, when I went in today they said they open at 12… I’m still confused why they weren’t open after 12 when I went in.
Anyway, I just thought I’d come here to get my boba fix but it looks likely I’ll be going elsewhere due to the confusion of opening times and because of the weird hard boba…

I come to this location every once in a while because I work close by and each time the service has been terrible. Usually the Boba and drinks are pretty good. Unfortunately today I had a different experience, I got the popcorn chicken and tigers milk tea. Halfway through drinking my milk tea I noticed an odd orange color separation at the top of my drink. I mixed it up and took a couple more sips then ended up throwing it away. I ate most of the popcorn chicken. A couple hours later and my stomach is hurting really bad. I guess either the food or the weird milk tea did not sit well with my stomach. Idk which it was but something was really weird with whatever they used and I don’t think I’ll go back after getting sick from their food/​drinks.
On top of that service is not good at all, they won’t even thank you for a tip

Nothing like the one on Clement. They got my order wrong, even as I clarified multiple times what I wanted. It was a simple order too– Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Aloe Vera. No Aloe Vera for me, despite repeating it three times.
Only upside is its one of the only places with milk tea in Marin. Their tea is a little on the sweet side, and they have many options.

One of my favorite TED talks is titled «The paradox of choice» by Barry Schwartz. One of the underlying themes to his talk is the notion that too much choice can have the negative effect. When there are so many options to choose from, one can have difficultly choosing anything at all.
I definitely suffered from «choice paralysis» when looking at that giant menu board at Quickly. There are so many options!
If you find yourself at a loss at what to get. You may want to try their standard Bubble Milk Tea (black tea, milk, sweetener). It’s a litmus test I use for all my boba tea adventures. For extras, I usually add some boba in to keep things interesting, and I hear that the flavored jellies can be a nice addition as well.
My take on their milk tea drinks. A bit too sweet for my taste. I prefer a lot less sweetener. But at Quickly, it seems many of their drinks are pre-​mixed or pre-​made. They can’t do less sweetener.
On the upside, Quickly is fairly inexpensive. A small 16 oz bubble milk tea will set you back 3 dollars and some change.
With regards to bubble tea options in Marin, I’d personally rather pay more for TPartea.

The reviews for this place don’t make a lot of sense. These are a multinational chain. They spend a lot of time making sure every cup of X tastes exactly like every other cup of X.
This quickly was pretty much just like every other quickly I have been to. Not much better, not much worse.
Service was quick. Service was polite. Our drink orders were accurate. I watched measurements poured, and I feel confident that my drink at this location would taste just like at every other Quickly location that uses the same measurements (maybe they change regionally).
I did notice that the credit card swipe capabilities they have use a Squareup magstripe reader. One of the reviewers cried up a storm about an employee not having it or perhaps not knowing about it. The place is pretty new, and if that device wasn’t available that day (a small thing that plugs into a cell phone) then it wouldn’t be available at all.

I think this place will get better as they increase their food selections. I went in to get a bubble tea and there was a huge selection from the menu. However, they were still trying to complete their store setup, so some items from the menu were not available yet. Hopefully, everything will be set up when I return the next time.

Excited for boba place in Marin but think again. If you’re like me and saw the two stars, you might think. Oh maybe Marin residents aren’t ready for milk tea. But they’re all right… It deserves one star.
This place is expensive and the milk tea was watered down. Nothing worse than watered down tea. I’ll pass and head to SF for my milk tea cravings.

If I could I would not give this place any stars if I could! The only things that is saving this place is the guys who work here! The young lady that was working there is so rude. And don’t even know that they can accepted cards! How do you not know that! Also when she makes your drink it sucks. No flavor at all it just taste like water with sugar.
Please someone help this young lady so this place don’t go under. I don’t think my family will be coming back until it’s gets better.

While I cannot even fully express my excitement for a Quickly in Marin County, I have to say that there is a huge need for improvement still. The store and its owners are very evidently new to the business. They chose to have an extraordinarily extensive menu, and with little to no prior experience.
The staff mainly speaks Cantonese, and are a tad weak on Mandarin and English. It definitely took me several tries to make sure that my order was correct, whether I was using one or the other. I think the menu is as foreign to them as it was to me walking in and seeing it for the first time.
I tried their black sesame milk tea, and was pleased with the overall flavor of the drink. Their boba had a slight plasticky taste and was overcooked, so hopefully they can perfect this as time goes on. Their milk teas are all pre-​made, and it seems as if they just add flavor powder and syrup to it for flavoring. I was a tad disappointed that they could not adjust the sweetness though.
They are set up to also have ice cream, and lots of it though. When I visited, the tubs were all empty however. Once everything is settled in, this should be an awesome location to hang out and grab desserts. I’m looking forward to eventually trying some of their waffles and other milk tea options! The staff for now are rather confused and disorderly, but I think this will fix itself before long. Hope to see this place improve!
