Food’s okay, considering it’s very convenient to my office location. But I went in this morning to quickly grab a cup of coffee and before they’d let me go they explained that earlier in the week someone had purchased a sandwich, but their card-swiper lost connectivity for a few seconds during that transaction so the payment didn’t go through. They weren’t sure if it was my sandwich, so they asked me to log into my bank account to see if I had been charged or not. Super tacky and rude! It’s unfortunate, but the mistake was on you guys and you should absorb the cost instead of auditing your customers. Was getting your ten bucks really worth losing a regular customer? I won’t be going back.

Apart from being convenient, this place doesn’t have much to offer. It is overpriced and anything fresh is usually bad quality. I recently bought an apple that looked fine on the outside but was internally discolored and tasted rotten. Pre-packaged food is fine but you’ll be paying Whole Foods prices for 7 – 11 quality. Over all, this place is great if you’re in a hurry and also great if you want to be charged twice as much as you should be.

Have a busy day at work and need a quick bite? There are only two things that I would choose to order here. French Dip Special on Wednesdays and the California Club sandwich. The sandwiches here are a safe bet(and probably most of the other breakfast items). Coffee served here is Starbucks and there are plenty of refrigerated grab & go options as well. Service is quick and easy here and the staff who works here work together like a well-oiled machine. I would recommend you go here if you only have half an hour to go get food and eat it before you get back to work. If you have more than 30 minutes to spare, do yourself a favor and get something else for lunch!

Expect to pay about $ 10 for your meal. They are definitely not on the cheap side, so come here only if you either have no time/energy to go elsewhere, or you think $ 10/meal is reasonable. Got the ham and cheese sandwich today. No bells or whistles but it tasted ok. Got an iced white choc mocha, tasted just like I would get at Starbucks. I am a supporter of little shops like this, but of they could get a meal to be only about $ 7 – 8, that would probably bring in more business.

Good: Very nice workers, good service Ingredients in the limited stuff I get is fresh(i.e. tomato, avocado, pepper, eggs) They have boiled eggs, it is about the only healthy food I buy from them regularly They have a teeny tiny breakfast burrito that they can make vegetarian, a big eater would laugh at it but it works for me It is downstairs from work. Cut fruit in plastic container is helpful if i’m starving, but why people think it is okay to sell me unripe canteloupe is a never-ending mystery. Tables to sit outside. Bad: The kind of deli/generic crap food you’d expect in the middle of the country… probably all ingredients from Costco. Crappy lettuce, generic mass produced dressing, cheap bread. In san ramon you expect a bit of yuppy food mixed greens, good bread. Not much that is healthy. Not much that is vegetarian. No greek yogurt, just crappy yoplait. Basically I wish they’d completely overhaul the menu! Way out of date on what we expect for quality these days especially in this area. For healthy food better to go to Whole Foods, Fresh Millions or Fish on the Grill. And yes, will pay the price(San Ramon yuppy tax). Only other option really is to bring your own food to the eerie and bizarre place to work that is Bishop Ranch(the city with no downtown and more strip malls than cross walks).

Had two meals here today. First, I ordered a breakfast burrito. It was so small, I joked to my coworker that a normal breakfast burrito gave birth to this baby burrito. Didn’t taste all that bad but kind of a rip off considering it was nearly $ 5. Lunch: taco salad. Their version is made up of stale chips, a small pile of lettuce, canned chili, pump cheese, sour cream, salsa, and an itty bitty bit of shredded cheese. I had to visit the bathroom twice after. The people there seem nice so I feel a bit guilty saying this, but they did take $ 16 from me. Beggars can’t be choosers if you don’t leave the business park.

I go here occasionally when I run out of «work» food. There is not much to say about the quality of the food. It is a hit or miss. I don’t like their chicken at all, but I really like their french dip. The servers come to know you by name and are very nice and polite. I give them 5 stars. I give the price ONE star. It almost cost me $ 9 for a sandwich which is pretty outrageous. When I was done with my french dip sandwich, I almost felt compelled to eat the styrofoam container just to get my money’s worth(totally kidding, but I’m trying to make a point here!). The price of a bagel there costs as much as 6 bagles and a tub of cream cheese at the grocery store.

I used to frequent this convenient café because it is close to where I work… Until today. I walked in at 10:28am & ordered a breakfast burrito & was told that I couldn’t have one because they stopped serving eggs @10:30am. Seriously?! I come here all the time & you can’t pop an egg in the microwave for 1 minute? Screw this place. Their customer service sucks & they are lazy.

Serviceable. The sandwiches aren’t amazing but it’s quick and will fill you up. If you have time, there are many more options just minutes away.

Located in the next door building of my office. Was not sure what to have until I saw the freshly roasted beef waiting to be sliced for the french dip or roast beef sandwhiches. Well I had the later on a dutch crunch roll — I missed these when in SoCal for 8yrs! Nice little café but after next week they are closing for a few weeks for a remodel. Good fresh food, fast service & with a smile. I like that… «I’ll be back» :-)

Teriyaki from this place is making my coworker physically sick. Yikes! This place is turning out to be good for only breakfast, sandwiches. and coffee.

If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. Bishop Ranch can do better than this. The food is overpriced and boring. I keep peanuts from my airplane rides in my desk drawer so I can avoid eating at this place when I’m short on time.

I try and try to eat here hoping that it will be good. They need to upgrade their quality. Their tuna sandwiches are awful, because they use shitty tuna. Their bread is always either dry or has a funky taste(like it’s stored with something funky or has been open to air overnight). And they have inconsistent pricing. Mac salad — $ 1.75 on the board, but when you order, they make you get it from the cooler and now it’s $ 1.90. What? And should we talk about the highway robbery on the chips they sell? Ma-she-opp-so. Yea, I know, just go someplace else… I will. But hey, if you are a deli owner looking for a place to set up shop and you rock? Then come to 3000÷4000÷5000 Bishop Ranch and feed us!

When I first realized the café was run by Korean ladies, I was really excited. I thought there would be some authentic Korean food on the menu but no, not a hint of Asian influence anywhere. The ladies were really nice every time I went there for some breakfast or caffeine hit, so I didn’t mind going back even though the prices were not appealing. The sandwiches there were very ordinary, nothing sounded mouthwatering. I was disappointed that for their breakfast sandwiches, they didn’t have spinach or mushroom. But what really killed the happy feeling was this double caramel macchiato I got during lunch. My medium cup was only filled half way. WTF? And the salad I got was literally just lettuce almost. I must admit the chicken on top was good but for nearly $ 8, I expected more than just chicken pieces and lettuce. I can probably get a better salad at Noah’s for the same price. It sounds cheap when I say I only paid $ 12 for the salad and drink but it was not worth it at all. I would be so much more inclined to come here for food if they had more pizazz in their menu and if everything wasn’t so freaking expensive.
