Good food. Spacious place for what it is. Looks more like a BBQ place to me. They have some outdoor seating. Went for the first time today. For $ 12.01 I got a clam chowder bread bowl, chips, and a fountain drink. Drinks come in mason jars, but I got mine in a to-go cup because I asked. Service was friendly, tho when I sat down I could hear them arguing behind the counter.

Went for lunch today after movie. Ordered two salads with chicken. Salads came with no chicken included. Went back to counter to address the issue. Long line in front of cash register. Tried to get the attention of the two workers behind the counter and neither would look at me. We ate the salads with out the chicken and left Lots of choices for eating in this area. Will not return to this place!

I just wanted to say that i am in love with the pilgrims progress square meal with a ranch salad. It always makes my day. I walked in as normal to get my sandwich and the manager was making a chicken Cesar salad that looked phenomenal! I did not get his name, but he looked like he was in his 20s with a green bandana on under his hat, he was very knowledgeable and told me that he would put anything that I liked on it! It was very refreshing to actually get amazing customer service for once! I will definitely be coming back to this Erik’s again!

called and order a TO-GO Order. they said it will be ready in 10 mins so i get there in 15 mins. sandwhich isnt made cause they didnt have the bread for the order so they decided to wait till i got there to ask what bread i want… considering i called it in means i dont have time to sit there and wait for them to make it for me to have time to eat it .i have clients which would leave me no time to eat… so thanks eriks deli for leaving me starving cause you cant get an order made on time correctly and use your best judgement of bread or maybe get a phone number for TO-GO orders for the future!!!

I am not a huge sandwich fan, but the few times I do go for a sandwich, Erik’s is one of the very best. Yummy!

Randomly picked this place out for a quick lunch. Ordered the«Barnbuster» special, which was some thin-sliced roast beef on a french roll, au jus, and some horseradish. A pickle spear and slice of orange came with it. $ 7.99 There was not much meat at all in the sandwich, and it had that darkened discoloration of being desiccated from sitting out too long. The au jus was flavorless, accomplished getting the bread wet, and if I spent more time with it, maybe it would have rehydrated the meat. The horseradish was intensely hot, which is fine by me, but definitely be careful about breathing through your nose. The horseradish was the only thing remotely interesting about this sandwich, but that had less to do with eating and more to do with intense sinus tingling. Oh, and I got coffee, which was barely lukewarm hotel lobby style coffee. The type you drink for caffeine but not enjoyment. I can’t remember the last time I went and got lunch immediately after I got lunch, but that’s what I did that day. Go look on the other side of the freeway if you want a decent sandwich around there.

I am anxious to try this place, but I want to know if they use«real» turkey, or that fake pressed stuff that tastes funky.

I know there are a lot of people that love Erik’s but I have been to a couple of their locations aside from this one and their sammys leave me just sorta feeling … Meh. I am not sure what it is either since all their ingredients are fresh, their bread is soft, their establishment clean and their staff friendly.

Really really like this place. Very friendly crew; food is fresh and prices are quite good for what you get and especially in this area. Perfect for a nice, yummy and quick no-frills lunch.

Garbage, only this place can screw up a turkey sandwich, worst bread in the bay, go across the street to Togo’s, better prices and way better quality,

I really loved the food here! My first visit and I was greeted by very friendly man who made some suggestions for my first visit. ½ Pilgrim sandwich and a cup of butternut squash soup. Can I just say yum! Mixed oats bread was so fresh. Sprouts and Avocado with an olive oil mixture and all the standard fixings on a turkey sandwich. Simple. But it was so yum! Est in 1973 and a must try place to eat!

#1 Healthy lunch/deli in San Ramon. This local deli has everything I’m looking for in a go to lunch spot during the week. Fresh, delicious, fast, and consistent. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced, and the employees are friendly and welcoming. Can’t go wrong at Erik’s.

I love this place! This is my regular lunch spot during the week because it’s so close to my office and the food and service are always great! Erik’s offers a great selection of tasty sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads and baked goods at very reasonable prices. Erik’s uses bakery quality bread and good quality meats and cheeses for their sandwiches. Their produce is also very fresh and this is critical in making it a BIG cut above other competitors like Subway and Togo’s. I usually order a Pilgrim’s Progress for lunch(Turkey Breast and fresh Avocado on 9-Grain Wheat Bread), but there is so many options for ham, turkey, pastrami, tuna and chicken. They even have several vegetarian options. They also allow you to build your own with the protein, bread, and produce choices you want, and they will heat up your sandwich if you’d like. My other favorite sandwiches are the REO Speedwagon(turkey and ham) and the Sea Dog(tuna salad). And if you like baked goods, they make delicious brownies, marble cake and carrot cake!!! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for groups, they have catering available and plenty of parking. Overall, I love the location, the quality and taste of the food, the price, and the friendly staff. They have gotten to know me over the years and always treat their regulars and their new customers just right! Iced Tea Rating: 5 stars! Delicious black iced tea(they also have honey/green tea)!

Located in a plaza by a movie theatre. It’s not super busy at lunch because there are several tables inside. Fountain drinks come in mason jars and the soup/sandwich options are great! I love the chicken pesto sandwich and the soups are great too! If I’m in the mood for a soup & sammy, I go here.

MMMMMMMMMMM. I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school. I was obsessed with their Chinese Chicken Salad. SOCHRONIC. I now always get the Pilgrim’s Progress(no tomato, extra sprouts). On supah delish rye bread, with a fresh, heaping mountain of turkey, creamy fricking avocado, and red onion. SOBOMBDIGGITY. I sometimes have a hard time deciding between Togos and Erik’s, since they are right across the street from each other. It’s an easy choice though when I remember they have sprouts, earthy delicious sprouts, and fresh baked bread. Real ingredients. And the prices are slightly better. PLUS, my friends and I will be frequenting this establishment more often, as they have a new sexy bearded employee man dude. MMMMMMMMMM.

I tend to forget that Erik’s is over here-a bit out of the way from the office parks on Crow Canyon and Bishop Ranch. That’s a good thing-being it’s tucked away, the lunch crowd is a bit more manageable. Ample parking in the adjacent lot and seating aplenty. That all being said, I’ve never eaten at Erik’s, although we’ve gotten take out for office meetings/working lunches. Today, though, was a rare treat to actually not eat at my desk and my coworkers and I all opted for the half sandwich and soup combo. The butternut squash soup was actually the best I’ve had-not too watery, not too sweet and just the perfect texture with enough«squash» taste to perk your taste buds. The sandwich was run of the mill veggie(Farmer’s Market) with avocado, peppers, sprouts and tomato. Nothing fancy but it did have fresh veggies, a unqiue house made mustard and a really tasty multi grain bread. Not a bad price to value proposition either-under $ 10 got me this combo along with a fountain soda. I’d save this place for a chilly day when soup seems like a good option-their variety was pretty impressive considering that soup isn’t their focus. I can’t speak to their salads or non-veggie options but for me it was a nice lunch out. I’d even go back for their Farmers Market sandwich-a decent healthy option for the area.

I ordered a hot roast beef special, don’t remember the name. It comes on a small burger size onion roll. They heat the entire sandwich in the microwave to make it hot, tomatoes and all. Yuck. Edges of the bread were like tough rubber and hot tomatoes are disgusting. The cold roast beef we also ordered was very slim on the meat to bread ratio, and was tasteless other than the clumps of horseradish. We took it to go and we won’t be coming back.

Kind of strange location for Erik’s Deli, next to a dry cleaner and an AVIS in a random little shopping area next to the Crow Canyon Movie Theater. The food is standard Erik’s Deli fare, Raging Bull, Pilgrim’s Promise etc. I’ve barely see people go to this Erik’s Deli(compared to the one in Dublin), so I guess if you had to choose between the two, I would go to this one.

You would not believe the Turkey Sandwich I had here the other day. I was wondering if my Grandma was hiding behind the counter making my sandwich personally because it tasted like love was in there. The sandwich was actually called Pilgrim’s Progress. Turkey Breast and fresh Avocado on 9-Grain Wheat Bread with Erik’s «Secret Goo®», Red Onions, Tomatoes and Sprouts. Ordering was fast and my sandwich was on the counter ready to go before I could snap some photos of the interior. The dining area is rather large even quite a few spots outside for eating. I was in there during lunch hour and it didn’t seem busy at all. But I must say the sandwich really stole the show for me. I took it back to my office and ate it at my desk. I took some bites and then set it down, starring at it suspiciously. This sandwich was to good to just be from some chain deli in San Ramon. I was greatly impressed. I have been reading the menu on their website over and over again trying to decide what sandwich to try next. The Barnbuster sounds pretty good. Every day is good for a sandwich day.
