Most Lucky’s suck. Very few lines open, less options than Safeway… BUT this Lucky’s is different. Never that long of a wait when checking out, beer, wine &spirit tastings, free samples, a good selection of products & local goods as well. The place is clean and everyone is friendly, and never all that crowded.

I haven’t seen a Luckys in a long time, this one was big and clean. They have a large selection of Asian foods and items that you normally can only find at an Asian market. This was a great stop while traveling from N. CA.

Aside from a manager being extremely rude regarding a wine question, I’ve been more than happy to visit this grocery store. The store is clean, the workers are usually very nice, and there are good deals on food. The checkout lines are usually really short when I go as well.

Over the years coming here I’m impressed with the courteous staff and great service. The bakery delivers on beautifully decorated cakes. I really like the people!

Evidently customers that have patronized their store for years and come in at least 2 – 3 times per week are not really appreciated. I stopped in this morning to put my change in the coinstar machine and they treated me like I was not worthy of their time. Train your employees better Lucky Supermarket we have many other choices in Dublin to shop for our groceries and are appreciated. This happened today on Saturday morning only around 8 am one teller checking people out heavy set — no bueno!

Customer service is getting really bad here. One reason I don’t make it my main weekly grocery store anymore. I drive further to get better service. I use this store, if I forgot to pick something up. I went to the self check lane. Of course, it says«please wait for assistance». It wasn’t busy at all! I stood there for 5 mins thinking someone would help me! The guy at the register and the bagger looked at me and continued to assist the other people! I decided to go in his line since nobody came to help me. I asked the cashier«If someone uses the self check lane and it says wait for assistance, do you guys help the customer? He gave me a stupid look like he didn’t know what I was talking about!!! I repeated myself while the machine said it again! I asked him“did you hear that?» In his soft spoken voice says«ok yes, we can help you.» Well, it’s too late now! I’m in your line!!! One thing he did ask was«do you want help to carry your groceries to your car?» I guess they are on repeat mode. Who needs help to carrying a bag with a dozen eggs??? Next time help me at the self check lane! I find more and more reasons why I don’t like shopping here! Go to Safeway off of Dublin blvd. or Walmart on alcosta blvd. way better service!

The staff at this Lucky are usually polite and upbeat. The store is clean and items I come for are always in stock.

So, so disappointed in you Lucky’s/SaveMart! Overall, the store is ok. The constantly rotating cashiers are not the friendliest and the Bakery«Goods», are worse than from a box. BUTBEWARNEDABOUTTHIER«SHOP&EARNFREE, THOMASPROFESSIONALCOOKWARE»! It is grossly misleading, deceptive and crooked! The brochure tells you to collect their stamps,(1stamp for every $ 10. purchase). Now, I am a stickler for verbiage, so before I began collecting the stamps, I read the brochure from front to back. The brochure illustrates to you, collect 70 stamps/$ 700. worth of stamps,(yep, that’s right), affix them to the grid and receive the 8″ Fry Pan. Collect and affix 10 more stamps, equaling 80 stamps/$ 800., and receive the 1.5 qt Sauce Pan. Collect 20 more stamps, equaling $ 1000., and receive your choice of 1 of 3 different pans and lastly, collect another 20 stamps, equaling $ 1200., for 4 pans, VALUEDAT: $ 250! Ok, it’s a «gift», so, ok. WELL, that is NOT how the stores explain it. Completely contrary to what is written; you must collect 70 stamps, then another 80 stamps, then another 100 stamps and finally, another 120 stamps! DOINGTHEMATH: YOUMUSTCOLLECT370STAMPS&SPEND $ 3,700., in groceries to receive your«FREE» cookware, valued at $ 250.!! Are you serious?! ANDTHEN, ONTOPOFTHAT; you must pay THETAXES, equaling $ 22.10, bringing your«FREE» cookware, to a GRANDTOTALOF: $ 3722.10! Thanks for the FREE cookware Lucky’s/SaveMart. Maybe Bob & Nicole Piccinini can afford that… but can anyone else?!!

This is the worst and most unfriendly Lucky store I’ve ever shopped at! I’d be careful of the meat department and the bitchy workers in the deli/bakery department.

This location is one of my favorites with nice fresh produce, baked breads and meats with easy access from the freeway while running around the area. The butchers are friendly and take the time to handle my requests, particularly when I don’t see what I want — they often find it or made it happen for me. The prices are very reasonable and checkout easy and friendly.

Don’t buy the meat. Almost every package of meat I brought home is aged. They just put the good side of meat facing out. One of them smell bad and I had to return it. No apology from the manager. Such BS. Will not go there ever again.

Full service and handy location on the freeway exit. Not the best prices for volume stuff you can get at Costco, but good quality for the buck for gourmet items vs. Whole Foods also in the area but on Alcosta boulevard away from freeway. Go –to place for missing recipe ingredients — you can find most anything there. They BBQ whole Tri-Tip roasts out front on the weekends and boy goes it smell good as you walk in — don’t usually get them but perhaps buy meat there anyway from the power of suggestion. Day old bakery items discounted on racks in back of store sometimes or out front sometimes — by storeroom doors or bakery. Butcher seem nice and responsive. Nice selection of fresh produce. Specials in liquor department and discounts for mix/match half dozen bottles.

Store Management please place certain long time employees under a Performance Improvement plan these people and I know store management is aware of them are rude, not helpful and make u feel like asking a questions in regards to what is what on what isle is like pulling teeth! I have expressed my issues numerous times with store mgmt and corporate time to show some courageous leadership! The baggers are awesome and the Deli dept is great the rest find a job u like!

Prices are slightly higher, but the quality of the employees and selection more than make up for it. The employees in particular are incredibly helpful. They will roam the aisles in search of people they can assist in finding something. And they make checking out easier than at other stores — on a recent trip here an employee initially said their register was closed but then said it was okay and even called someone over to help bag the groceries.

Lots of parking, large and clean store, and good deals. Came here when both wheat thins AND strawberries are on sale — double win! It’s amusing that there’s a sign above the entrance that says something along the lines of «Your Smile Begins Here.» I would’ve skipped on the many words and just put up a large smiley instead. Anyway, not too many employees around to help you out(if needed), quite deserted actually. Had to search through many aisles just to find the snacks aisle, but it wasn’t too hard with so few customers around. Cashier was nice, a bit quiet, but he had a sense of humor at least. There were only 2 – 3 cashiers working, but it’s not like they were busy.

They are ‘lucky’ that they are close to me, so if I need last minute items, I can jump on over. That is if they carry it. Little limited in selections, so I usually cannot do my full grocery shopping here. But. one thing that I do love here is the people at the Deli counter… I’m picky about the thinness of my cold cuts, and they are literally the only place in the area where they listen to me… by now one of the ladies has shared with me the setting size, so I know what to ask for and each of them is just fine with slicing my meats that thinness. So Lucky’s is my go to place for deli meats, or last minute wine pickup… the fruit/veggie section I only use in the winter time or last minute pickups… Everyone is pretty friendly, and always got an answer when I needed any. Cannot really complain about the staff…

Prices are alright, Safeway has a better selection and usually better prices. The only reason I go is due to the proximity to my house. Parking lot is easy and never too busy. Staff is difficult to get a hold of if you have a question. They are usually unsure about their inventory and products. Good thing is that you don’t need to give any private information for a rewards card program. They have a card which will allow you to get discounts on gas, but you have to ALWAYS bring it in with you, unlike a phone number at other places.

This review is for the pharmacy. After getting dumped by Walgreens at the beginning of this year, I switched to Lucky, and now I wish I had been going here all along! Every time I come here, they are SUPER friendly and efficient! They automatically refill my prescription every month and call me when it’s ready. I can walk in, pick up my prescription, and be out the door in under 5 minutes. At Walgreens, anytime I came in to pick up my prescription, it took FOREVER even though I always pre-ordered. The employees always seemed like I was bothering them and they would take SOLONG just to find my prescription and ring me up. I dreaded going there every month. They also have inconvenient hours and take a LONG lunch. Ugh… it was frustrating every time I went there. Go to Lucky instead! It’s right next door!
