I am awake alert here when I lived in Dublin. The place is pretty cheap both for lunch and dinner and in the summer I would love to stay there for their AC.

My family use to love coming here. However, after finding hair in our food 3 times in different dishes we will never go back! I see how they handle their veggies. They lay it out on the huge round table where customers sit. One time the guy had his head phones on and threw it on the veggies to answer the phone. This is most likely how they get hair in their food.

Our family favorite go-to Chinese spot for delivery, take-out or dine-in. Fast, hot and always dependable.

We came here after reading all the good reviews on Unilocal. We ordered the beef stew clay pot, fish tofu clay pot, egg plant and veg mushrooms from the 3-dish-for-$ 24 menu that included soup. We liked all the dishes. They were all tasty and portions were plentiful. The tea was hot and the service was also good.

After almost three years of trying to find a cheap and delicious Chinese restaurant in the East Bay that gives generous portions, I have finally found it! I got sweet and sour chicken, BBQ pork with snow peas, Mongolian beef, and BBQ pork chow mein. I was also feeling lazy and decided to have it delivered. Portions were really big… much bigger than most other places around. The chow mein was pretty good and not too greasy. The Mongolian beef was good, but extremely spicy. The sweet and sour chicken was good(but it’s hard to screw that up) as was the BBQ pork with snow peas. All this food only cost $ 37 and it should be enough to last 2 – 3 meals(for two people). The delivery fee was $ 6, so I’ll probably just go and get it myself next time. All in all, I think I’ve finally got my go-to Chinese restaurant.

My favorite chinese place in San ramon. We always go here, you’d be smart to try this place if you haven’t before. Everything is good. Work wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken, string bean chicken, just love it!

I think the people that own Peking Delight used to own China Paradise which we used to frequent. We had 3 items from the«Three for menu» with the soup. We ordered the Westlake Soup, Salt and Pepper Fish, Salt and Pepper Spareribs, Beef with Chinese Broccoli and Won Ton Soup. The fish was fried to perfection, the ribs were tasty, the Chinese broccoli was cooked just right, not bitter and came with a lot of beef. The won ton soup was pretty good, I used to eat at Lock Goon, then King Wai for the won ton soup which was really good but both have closed down long ago. Sadly, I am in search of won ton soup like the two restaurants but alas, I have not found one but Peking Delight has the best so far… still searching but the won ton soup at Peking Delight will hold me until I find another Lock Goon or King Wah(great comfort food/home cooking). Also, still searching for the chow mein and fried rice like King Wah’s. For all you old timers, if you find something, make sure to post something. Overall, good food, good service, big portions and definitely you receive excellent value at Peking Delight.

I used the Eat 24 app and ordered delivery. They arrived at my house in 25 minutes which was faster than the expected 45 minutes given when I placed my order. The portions are really big! We’ve got tons of left overs. The Mongolian beef and sweet & sour pork was really good. I wasn’t too thrilled with the house chow mein. I would order again.

Conveniently located off the 680FWY off Alcosta Blvd in San Ramon. It has great specials and it’s affordable. It’s also located in a shopping center, so there is definitely plenty of spaces to park. It is a smaller establishment, but if you don’t mind the wait you’ll get to enjoy good food. I have come here a couple of times with family and have never had any issues with the service. i would definitely recommend this place!

For the price, this place is great. They have a deal where you can choose up to 3 entrees and the choice of two soups for $ 24. That can easily feed a family of four. And the quality of the food for that price is great. Don’t expect fancy silverware or tuxedos. But do expect good service and well-prepared dishes. My favorites are the green beans with minced pork and the house special tofu(fried tofu with pork, vegetable filling).

Let’s see… how do I begin. Peking Delight has become one of my family’s favorite eating spot since 2 months ago. I am giving it a high rating because the food is tasty, the price is very reasonable, the service is satisfactory, and it’s clean! I like it that they have a family combo deal too. Being Chinese myself, I can be critical; and sure, not all the dishes I tasted were perfect. But honestly, there is really nothing to be picky about this place. Simple tasty Chinese food with good price has always been what I enjoy.

This is the worst attempt at Chinese food I’ve ever had. The food is floating in oil, bland with no flavor, just oil, and I ordered the Spicy Chicken! The chicken is only cheap grisly leg meat in a flavorless pool of oil. The vegetable dish is boring and devoid of any real flavor. The prices are high and the quality is lower than anything served in a mall food court. Stay away, unless you like eating garbage.

I like this place, to my surprise. It is within walking distance to where I live, and it’s our go-to place if we want Chinese food that we know won’t disappoint us. The portions here are always much larger than what I expect. I don’t know why j get surprised every single time. Try the crispy chicken or duck, they are very tasty and the skin is fried perfectly. The west lake beef soup hits the spot whenever the soup– craving is there. The fried rice should be a whole entrée all by itself. For a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, this is really not bad at all. The menu is loooong… Too many choices. it takes me a very long time to read through it even though I’ve been here several times. The food here is pretty authentic. If you what Americanized Chinese food, this would not be a good place to stop by.

We were in the mood for some Chinese food but didn’t want to bear the 100f+ weather outside so I downloaded the EAT24 app and this spot showed up so I thought we’d give it a try. We ordered their Mongolian Beef which was really good, quite flavorful, but had quite a bit of onions and green onions, but a lot of strips of beef too. Also had their Almond Chicken which was standard, wish it had more almonds though. Lastly, we had their BBQ Pork Fried Rice which was delicious but, it could’ve used more pieces of BBQ Pork. Pricing was totally on spot, not expensive and not cheap; averaged $ 8 per item. Portions were huge, even as a to go/delivery order. And speaking of which, the delivery time on the EAT24 app was exact. They charge a couple bucks for delivery but it was well worth it. Overall, good spot, I’d order from them again and even eat in at their restaurant. #BetterThanPanda

Local Chinese food joint. Pretty crowded around dinner time. My husband’s family likes dining and taking out from here. The food is pretty good overall. We reprise the Salted Fish Chicken Bean Curd Clay Pot and chicken wings. Their westlake soup is pretty good this time around compare to last time. Overall, the food was really good.

Sunday dinner at 8 pm. This has got to be the best time to visit. No wait and great service until the staff sits down for their own dinner. Corn with chicken chowder soup: delicious! Rock cod fillet: battered and served with green onion. Delicious and nit greasy. Clay pot beef: served with shiitake mushrooms, green onion, bean curd: delicious although they could have soaked the bean curd a little longer so that they are soft. The dish had the right amount of sinew and beef chunks. Prawn egg scramble: large prawns, green peas and green onion. Egg perfectly scrambled and they weren’t rubbery. Delicious. I would return. All dishes were delicious. Ambiance: wish they would change the phone ringer. The constant ringing really puts a damper.

Peking Delight has been our go-to Chinese spot for quite some time. Maybe we’re just set in our ways. We typically order from the«other» menu. Some of the items we usually get are: — Salted Fish Chicken Fried Rice — sounds odd, I know. But it is super delish. — Prawns w/Tofu — choice of soft or crispy tofu — Crispy Fried Chicken(half order) — chicken is tender and moist. However, I did notice that the dish was a bit skimpy the last time we came. Maybe it was a smaller chicken? — Spicy Eggplant — tasty and plentiful, eggplant for days — Beef with Greens — Westlake Beef Soup — good, but nothing spectacular. Add a touch of hot sauce to kick it up a notch. — Rock Cod w/Black Bean Sauce They also have lunch specials every day(every day!), and delivery through EAT24. Service is okay; the restaurant is small enough that you can wave your hand for attention. For our money — and our appetites — Peking Delight is a solid choice.

3 stars for the food and 1 star for the service averages out to 2 stars. I ordered some food for delivery through their online system. Easy, right? Not so much. The estimated time was 40 – 50 minutes. Several phone calls and 110 minutes later my food finally arrived. The delivery driver was very apologetic but after he left and I opened up the food I found out that he packed an overabundance of soy sauce packets but no chopsticks or utensils. WTF? How am I supposed to eat without them(note that this was not a delivery to a home or apartment)? The food itself was pretty good and the portions were huge. The mushu was average with nice, thin pancakes. The black bean chicken had good flavor but way too much sauce. The best part of the order was actually the BBQ pork fried rice. I’d eat Peking Delight again but only in the actual restaurant.

You are not going to find a better deal on Chinese food. This is the sort of place you come to for that cheap lunch special that is going to feed you for two meals. Literally. That’s why they earn their 3 stars. Not so much for the quality of the food but because it is a great deal. The quality of the food isn’t great, honestly. Americanized, heavy, lots of cheap, fried, sweet items on the lunch specials(like sweet and sour, salt and pepper etc). Dishes were very light on the veggies to the point of being nonexistent and we could tell they used a lot of MSG. That said, I think if we had ordered more judiciously(I didn’t realize my particular fish dish would be fried), I think this is a worthwhile place to go. The lunch specials really are a good deal. They serve your meal with tea if you want it. The specials come with soup and appetizer(only fried wontons which I disregarded), and choice of rice, chow mein, or fried rice. Big portions too. The hot and sour soup was actually very good. One of the better we’ve tried in this area. They also have a very good choice of lunch specials. We will most likely be back.
