Oksana Elegant Grooming Pet Salon with Mobile services

Found a new groomer for our Lhasa Apso! Ana was great, very kind, made our dog look fluffy and cute, sometimes when groomers cut this breeds’ hair short, they can look weird, but Ana did a great job. Others have complained about the price, but I find it’s pretty typical pricing for the area we live in. We used to pay $ 68 at Petco and our dog hates that place and they always made him look like a rat-​dog. Further, Oksana’s is working with animals that can bite them, scratch, etc, plus they are clearing nasty rear-​end glands and dealing with other unpleasant bodily functions, so they should probably be getting hazard pay. I saw other negative reviews about the receptionist, but we did not have that experience, everyone was pleasant and professional, perhaps it’s not the same person or they got rid of that person. Anyway, bottom line is both myself and my husband love our dog’s new ‘do, we just want to snuggle with him all the time :) We will be back in about 6 weeks.

I took my 13 year old Yorkie, who is blind and has very sensitive skin, to Oksana’s today for the first time and we both had a great experience! The staff was very helpful and friendly, including the receptionist. I did not have the same experience as a couple of the previous reviewers. Anna, the groomer, was very accommodating and considerate as I explained my dog’s health concerns. I used to take him to a large chain pet store and they were unable to accommodate his special needs, so they recommended Oksana’s and I’m very grateful for the referral. The prices aren’t cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for with Oksana’s. I highly recommend!

Oksana has been grooming our dog sam for a couple of years. She’s very consistent with her work and Sam loves her. We love Oksana too…

I had been taking my Old English Sheepdog, Zoey, to Oskana’s Elegant Grooming every two weeks for over ten years. Zoey passed at thirteen years of age in September. After a few bad experiences at other shops in the San Ramon area, I stumbled upon Oskana as she was setting up shop. Zoey was always happy to go to the ‘spa’. The team did a great job with her grooming. I appreciated that they adjusted schedules as she aged to accommodate her health issues. They are true professionals who treat all dogs and cats with love and respect.
I am still a client at the shop as I now take my standard poodle, Olive, there. I recommend Oskana’s Elegant Grooming to anyone who wants a beautifully groomed and happy pet!

The first time I took my chihuahua for grooming, nail trim and teeth brushing. He came out smelling great but was still shedding a lot like they didn’t thorough grooming and it didn’t seem like they brushed his teeth, his nails were cut but left ragged and uneven. I went back again due to location and convenience and had the same service and the same result. I asked if they brushed his teeth and they said they tried but they couldn’t get all of his teeth, just the front but they charged me for the service, or attempt and use of toothpaste. Haven’t been back since.

This place charges WAY TOO MUCH!!! I have a 3lb yorkie and they charged me $ 72! That’s more than a hair salon for cutting a person’s hair, which I do for a living. I don’t think a 3lb dog should cost more than I charged for a person. They charge me what they would charge for a large poodle. Ridiculous!!! The receptionist was rude too. I’m not one to complain, but in this case I feel it’s necessary! Don’t go here people!!!

While our 3 lb Yorkies looked cute (despite having ponytails so tight they couldn’t blink) I feel that $ 72 PER 3lb DOG is a bit steep. It’s interesting that the price goes up from $ 60 to $ 72 not based on size but on age. The $ 60 price stops at 4 months old!
Either way, for 2 3lb doggies, $ 144 is more than a bit steep. Plus the receptionist is not a nice person in any way, shape or form. She might just be an unhappy person, but a professional would leave the baggage at the door.
My suggestion is to go elsewhere.

This is my fave place to get my dog groomed. Groomers are excellent, caring and professional. When I bring my corgi mix for his grooming, he always comes home looking handsome. I highly recommend Oksana’s groom service to anyone and everyone. I am very happy with their service.

We love Oksana’s salon. Our dog always comes home clean and with a great haircut. She is so much cleaner and doesn’t shed much after grooming which makes for a happy owner.
All the groomers are very knowledgeable and attentive to our dog’s needs. She is 12 and has some health issues which they always consider. Oksana is a wonderful owner and accommodates clients needs. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.
I have posted a review before as they have been in business for a while, but after a recent move it is not there anymore:(, which shame as they wonderful reviews already.

LOVE the new location! If you want true professionals who know how to make your dog look amazing this is your shop. The owner and all of her staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and completely helpful whenever I have a grooming, health, or behavior question. They also have a groomer who does creative grooming! So cool! My little white fluffball has gotten pink ears and tail a few times. If you like feeling like a celebrity I highly recommend the creative grooming, everyone will want to stop and talk to you and admire your furbaby. I love this place and more importantly, so does my dog.

My dog loves this place. He’s always so happy to go see them again. My mutt has a difficult coat but they’ve been a great help. Oksana and the whole team are knowledgeable and professional. A great experience for pooch and owner.
