This place needs to get it together. The service is terrible. My food order is never correct. I have given them countless amounts of chances to redeem themselves before writing this review. I was a cocktail waitress and server and really, it’s not that hard to add food modifications to an order. The most recent time I dined for lunch, it took several minutes to be greeted by a server and it took over 25 minutes to receive my(incorrect) order. I had to send the order back and it still wasn’t right when served. Lunch service is supposed to be fast so we can go back to work or get on with our lives! This train wreck scenario happens. Every. Single. Time. Word to the wise-don’t waste your time here.

I have been to this restaurant many, many times for work functions since it opened because of its proximity to my office. I think it deserves 2.5 stars at most. The food is okay– typical burgers, pizza, American food. Nothing to write home about, generally serviceable, though I did order a chicken sandwich that was nearly raw in the middle once. The service has improved over time and the staff is friendly. The one thing I really can’t stand, though, is the smell of the place around the bar. It reeks of spilled beer and alcohol, fermented funk. I think they need to clean their rubber mats better– a daily disinfecting with bleach or something. The smell lingers in my nose long after I leave. I could never sit at the bar because of it.

Now I have never made a Unilocal review, I typically use the site for looking at other reviews, but this visit calls for one. I went on Super Bowl Sunday and sat in the restaurant side considering the bar was packed with cheering Broncos fans and I have to say the service was great! I ordered the fish and chips with French fries, while my husband had the pulled pork sandwich and I have to say everything was spectacular!

I’ve always seen the waitstaff outside smoking with their uniforms so I’ve been reluctant to stop in but today the bar down the street was closed. We stopped in to see a few minutes to see some of the superbowl. What a mistake. Food runner put a steaming plate of spicy food in front of my one year old and when I said«don’t put hot food in front of a baby» she rolled her eyes, scoffed and proceeded to run off to tell her colleagues about how stupid I was… within ear shot. Then, when my husband took my daughter to the bathroom, she purposely stepped in front of him so he’d almost trip… with a baby in his arms. It was a fluke that we even stepped foot into this place(and ordered food for that matter) but it won’t happen again. Advice to management, fire the chick with the nose ring. She’s bad for business. Also, food was sub-par. Go down the street to Hopyard.

Well, we went there again, and at least this time they had food. That said, the things we ordered(pulled pork sandwich and barbecued chicken salad) seemed more like it was assembled there rather than prepared there. The pulled pork seemed like it was the kind you buy at the grocery store and microwave for a quick meal. My wife’s salad seemed like it was assembled from a bag of pre-chopped, pre-washed lettuce, a bag of shredded cheeses, a bag of pre-cooked chicken and some pre-diced tomatoes. It was sort of like going to Applebee’s. All that said, the food didn’t taste bad, it’s just not worth paying restaurant prices for food they aren’t even bothering to cook there. Contrast this with HopYard, which is in the same center, and we frequently order the same food there as at this place. For the salad, they grill a chicken breast, cut it up, and put it on the salad, with lettuce that seems like it was prepared at the restaurant and cheese they shredded. The pulled pork seems like they roast pork there and put barbecue sauce on it. The french fries seem to be made from fresh cut potatoes instead of dumped out a bag from the freezer(as I know they were at Firehouse, because there is a deli in my office building with the exact same fries). My recommendation is to go elsewhere. No, I have no connection to Hopyard, other than as a customer.

Typical sports bar food, a bit greasy. Had shrimp pasta, nachos, fish tacos, tortilla soup, and pepperoni pizza. Service was fine. Cloth napkins had a weird smell to it. There must be a following, because it was quite crowded — it was a Friday night. However, we probably won’t go back. Too many other similar types of restaurants around. Heard Happy Hour is a good deal though.

This place is always packed during happy hour. We come here after work sometimes since its nearby. But our table noticed the manager kept staring at us like we were over staying our welcome. The server said he was new and his name was George and that nobody really liked him. I don’t know but he def gave me the creep vibe and I don’t want to go back if he is there. Perhaps I’ll call first to make sure the creepy guy isn’t working?

I’ve been here three times in the past 2 weeks. The first time was pretty decent. I had happy hour stuff and it was OK. I’d have given 4 stars for that one meal. I came back later for a cheeseburger. If you like the taste of «burnt» plus whatever spice they have put into the hamburger, it’s good. I ate half of it. I ordered a way overpriced chips and salsa as an appetizer which was much better than the main meal. I actually took the chips and salsa home. Today I went in there and ordered the Cali Chicken Sandwich and a cup of soup. Evidently my server forgot the soup until she looked at my ticket at the time my food came up in the window. So I got soup and sandwich as the same time, soup with a bit of a skin on top. Sigh. Well, I opened my sandwich and found what appeared to be bacon… it came with bacon, anyway… which was hard, black bits which looked as though they’d been burnt to a crisp then soaked for a few days in bacon fat on the grill, hard as a rock. Disgusting. I don’t know if the cook thinks that people who eat there are too stupid to know the difference between filth and food or what, but it’s obvious there is no pride in what the cook puts out. Either that or the cook is incompetent. Anyway, I scraped the burned bacon bits off the sandwich and ate the rest of it. It wasn’t so bad. The tater tots I ordered were good. The soup was alright. All in all, for 27 dollars including tip, I expect better. I won’t be back to this place again. I’ve learned my lesson and learned it well.

Place has a solid chicken pesto sandwich that I usually get. Martinis are decent and averages priced. On football Sunday’s the place is jam packed in the bar area. Would expect nothing less with so many tv’s and a breakfast buffet and bottomless bloodies or mimosas for 20 bucks. The buffet serves fresh made waffles and has an omelette station as well. There’s also some pre made food like bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, etc. Tons of different nfl fans representing there teams. You will surely feel welcome here. Service has always been good when I went. Sunday’s are definitely 5 star but be sure to call über when you have one to many bottomless drinks.

Been coming here for a couple of years and was surprised to get a gift card for $ 50 recently in an envelope. I have a toddler and spending half my time chasing her around and tending to her. So went to go use the gift certificate and was told sorry: you have to open the envelope in front of the server. What a lasting negative impression! I think they should still honor it since we WERE regulars. I would rather honor it than lose business and have a negative review on my page

Updated review: This is long overdue. I tried again to order take out from this restaurant. So I did go last week. And this time, they did not disappoint. I order fried pickles, burger, chili bowl, and fireside nachos. All orders were prepped very well. I didn’t have an opportunity to try out the online ordering as our firewall prevented me from using it. Updating my stars from 2 to 4. The front desk service again was top notch. Friendly people at the front who gave me my food.

So we just had lunch with my father in law and everything went good. until after we paid the bill. Our total was $ 135, he gave the waitress a $ 15 tip(11%). She came back and asked us if anything was wrong with the service because she noticed that we only gave her her an 8% tip… who does that? Question the customer on how much you tipped somebody. I understand there was a concern about her service which is fine, but you don’t question someone on how much they tipped, especially when it’s 11%. The only reason why I am giving 2 stars is because the food was actually really good. Waitress was good as well until that happened.

Great for the family. Good beer and good pizza at a reasonable price. I really like the service here, too. Another place on my list to visit again.

The food is actually not bad. I wasn’t expecting much after reading some of the reviews here. We’re regulars at Hopyard, but decided to switch it up and were pleasantly surprised. The place doesn’t offer much as far as atmosphere, but the food is decent. Too bad we couldn’t switch Hopyards atmosphere with the food here.

Ambiance: Neighberhoody bar and grill type vibe. Loud, lots of tvs and very casual, perfect for dinner out with loud little ones. Service: Friendly, fast and efficient. Food: Wings were okay, the seemed like the Frozen IQF pre fried variety tossed in a Franks red hot style sauce… not bad, but not necessarily good either. Pretzel bites with cheese sauce were successful with the wife and kids. Clam Chowder soup was surprisingly good, lots of bacon and clams in a tasty, starchy broth. Cobb salad was okay, a bit boring… but what can one really expect from a salad? Dinner for 2 adults and 2 lil guys for $ 55. Fun, loud atmosphere with all the college and pro games on TV… we’ll be back.

I have been there for their Happy Hour. Good service, Good selection of beer. Their appetizer prices are good. I am not sure about their food but probably wouldn’t try unless someone really wanted to go. Overall Rating — Good if you are in a pinch /or for Happy Hour

Not a good experience at all. Cooks don’t care about the food. Waiters don’t care about service. Place lacks serious concern for dining experience. Food: Burger plain and dry. Fries stale and cold. Like they have been cooked and left out all day. Happy hour nachos OK. Salmon so dry and overcooked. Veggies swimming in oil and not in olive oil. Service: waitress was literally still talking while she walked away each time. She just didn’t want to be there and wasn’t hiding it. At one time his might have been a good restaurant, but DONOT waste your hard earned money and time here.

3 years since my first review, I wished I had something positive to add, unfortunately tonight’s visit was a train wreck! The management here has no clue how to run a dining establishment. We ordered a salad, a cup’O soup and a pizza. After 45 minutes, still no salad or soup. An hour passed I complained, I know pizza can’t be rushed but what’s holding up the soup and salad?! We’re busy she exclaimed. Pizza finally arrived, it was not even made on location, this was obviously pre-made and popped in and out of the oven; like what you see in super market freezer. Waitress asked did you get your soup and salad? NO we didn’t, now please close this out and forget about the soup and salad. Not sure which corporation owns this outfit, it’s definitely not run by people who take pride in what they do. I’m hoping they’ll go out of business so something good replace it.

The food is okay, the same kind of food you would expect out of any sports bar kind of place. You know, sandwiches, fries, stuff like that which is a bit overpriced. The service was also kind of slow in terms of getting us our meals. It wasn’t that crowded either. I only came here for lunch. It does have a lot of potential though during happy hour. The drinks seem cheap price wise, and after taking a peak at their HH menu, seems like it would be a good time, especially during sporting events since there are a lot of TV’s. I may come back just to see the deals for HH.

Ok, so it turns out that a great tap beer list doesn’t automatically make for a great restaurant, no matter how much I want it to be so. The restaurant also has to have good service and good food, but FH37 failed on both counts during my visit. Service was the worst of all. Note to FH37: when you have reservations for a party of 25, you don’t throw a single, inexperienced waitress at the problem. That’s just cruel and stupid. What you do instead is throw more staff in up front, to get the initial orders in and first beers on the table. Then you can ease off a bit, with another staff surge to deliver the plates. Then you drop down to one server to handle all the drink re-orders, etc. Sadly, none of this happened. Our poor waitress was so hopefully behind and outnumbered that several of us just went to the bar to get our beers. It was either that or wait 20 minutes. Fail. Food — Delivery time was OK on a Sunday night, since they eventually added some help, but my burger was no better than a Costco patty. Decent only if you’re hungry… and if you’re at a friends BBQ, and he proudly hands it to you, fresh off the grill. Turns out that that was not the scenario. Other annoyances: – The mysterious happy hour pricing. Tap beers were supposedly $ 3.50 until 6 pm, which was a great deal. But if we mixed beers(i.e. a black and tan; a snakebite.) then those were suddenly $ 8.50. Why? – TVs on the fritz. One was blinking on and off every few seconds. Thankfully we found the power button – Loud and echo-ey; I could barely have a conversation with my table neighbors But they do have a great tap list. So an extra star for that.
