Round Table Pizza

This is seriously one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. My friend and I came in around 7pm on a Wednesday, and even though there was only one family eating dinner, we waited close to an hour for our pizza. My friend and I were thoroughly upset by the customer service here. The lady helping us was unresponsive and left to go on break without helping us at all. We both ordered small, personal pizzas with no toppings, so we assumed it would only take about 10 minutes tops to get our food. We wouldn’t normally be so bothered by this, but we had a stranger watching our bags at the Starbucks nearby and didn’t want to keep her waiting. All in all, the pizza was fine but the location is so poorly run that I don’t plan on returning. Very inconvenient, especially because the restaurant was so empty to begin with.

My friend and I came to this location and we ordered 2 personal pan PLAIN CHEESE pizzas. We didn’t expect this to take very long, so we left our things at the local starbucks where we were working. This place took 40 minutes to finish our pizzas and the worst part is that people who came after us got their pizzas before we did. I don’t recommend this place to anybody — please save your money. Maybe we should have taken the empty restaurant as a sign that we shouldn’t have eaten here.

DON’T EVER ORDER FROM THIS ROUND TABLE RESTAURANT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I’m sure that the pizzas are made correctly but something happens between the time it is put in the box to the time it comes to our door. We’ve had wrong orders, we’ve had smashed pizzas (once smashed on the top and once smashed to the side), we’ve had them up to an hour late (from the delivery time) and what’s worse… Every time we call and tell them about it, they deny or defend their service! I’ve even picked up to avoid the hassle and the last time I did that, I had a bad experience. We love the actual pizza so we just keep ordering and hope but I think tonight was the last straw. The driver came to our door with our frozen pizza 35 minutes late and when we said it was cold he just said, «OK, if you want a new one just call them and you’ll have to wait.» Really? OK. When we called, the «manager» asked us his name and what he looked like. SMH. So, here is my warning to you. We’ll be ordering from another restaurant a little further away. The wait times are a little longer but I think this is why. This one is a sh** show.

Just received the best made, most perfect round table pizza in years. They delivered the pizza earlier than expected, hot and fantastic! I called to compliment the staff and spoke to the new supervisor on staff. Nice work Market Place around Table.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We were really looking forward to pizza and salad bar. The restaurant closes at 9:30. We arrived at 8:08. The salad bar was already being broken down. So disappointing. We didn’t even stay for the pizza based on this. So if your in the mood for salad bar you might want to head somewhere else if it close to closing time.

you have the same fucking coupons all the time for your insanely overpriced pizzas so just honor your fucking advertisements or stop littering my door and mailbox with your lies.

I love round table pizza, I grew up eating it once a month, but this location is so poorly run. They routinely run 30 – 90 minutes over quoted delivery times, they routinely mess up our order and the manager who I once spoke to was completely unapologetic… her attitude was basically «we’re busy and that’s how it goes». It’s a shame too, cause Round Table pizza can be really good when the restaurant is run by people who actually give a sh*t. I guess we’ll just be eating more Zachary’s now… not a horrible consolation.

We don’t go to a pizza buffet that often…
Again though, this particular restaurant at Marketplace, does an outstanding job of keeping up with new and different CONTINUAL pizza choices at the buffet!

Ordered a pizza over an hour and 45 minutes ago when ordered was given an approximate delivery time of 50 – 55 minutes. Called the store 15 minutes ago because pizza still hadn’t come was told «uh, we got busy,» (uh if it’s Saturday and your gonna be busy give the right delivery time to begin with) it should be there in 10 more minutes… I’m still waiting…

We ordered a pizza at 5:34pm today. They told us 45min-​1hour. An hour and 20 minutes later we called. They said if he didn’t show up in ten minutes to call again. After 10min we called again and the woman who answered was super unhelpful. We finally got a call from the delivery guy an hour and a half after our original order and had to go down the stairs to meet him. No discount was given and we are very disappointed in the service. I understand sometimes things get delayed, but we weren’t warned about the delay and we had to call twice after the estimated time. Very disappointed but happy to now finally have (lukewarm) food after an hour and a half!

Went here for the first time with our grandson for lunch, and found the place to be FILTHY! Everything was super dirty starting with the front door! Brass railing, wood work and trim, carpet, floor tile, wood trim on tables, chairs and the toys provided for toddlers… filthy black goo all over. Even the lady that delivered our pizza had a couple of days worth of pizza dough and sauce all over the front of her outfit! Makes one wonder about the condition/​cleanliness of the kitchen!

Found the pizza to be very cheesy and greezy. Takes long time dine in orders as well.

We’ve been going to the crow canyon store for about 5 years. The food is great, when we decided to go to the market place this time the service was fantastic! I think I spoke with Kyle, all the coworkers asked me how my day was and they were all so friendly! We will be going to the market place instead of crow canyon from now on. The only thing I can complain about is those outdated arcade games, they should replace those with more seating since they always seem to get busy with parties all the time.

We got take out last night and had a great experience. They accidentally messed up our order, so not only did they upgrade our order to a large for free, they gave us the pizza they messed up too. They were extremely apologetic and nice about it. They did what they could to fix the situation without us even aware there was an issue. Way to go staff of round table! Pizza was awesome.

Delivery was slower than they quoted, but it was a Friday Nite. The pleasant surprise was the pizza was actually warm, not hot but warm. We ordered a large extra pepperoni and boy did they deliver on that aspect. I also requested cheese and peppers and a side of Ranch and they did not forget them. I will be ordering again

We’ve lived in San Ramon for 2.5 years. The first year at least, this Round Table was excellent. Fast, accurate delivery service every time. They must have come under new management in the past year or so because now they are TERRIBLE. Always at least ten minutes later than they say they’re going to be (after already saying they’ll take up to an hour). Pizza always cold upon arrival.
Last night, I ordered and was told pizza would arrive in 45 – 50 minutes. After an hour and five minutes, no pizza. I had a hungry four year on my hands so I called to check on the order. There was not only no record of our order, but somehow our entire account was gone (we have been ordering from here at least twice a month for 2.5 years). The manager told me he could rush a new order OR offer me 50% off my next order. Neither of these options was acceptable to me so I laughed, said no, hung up the phone, and fixed a quick dinner. FORTY MINUTES later, a Round Table pizza delivery guy shows up at my door. We ignored him. He rang the bell and called me for about ten minutes before I finally answered the phone and told him the situation was ridiculous. The question is, how did they know my address after telling me my entire account was gone?
In summary, it was a total cluster and we have ordered from here for the LAST time. We’ll stick to Garlex.

Great pizza but delivery is at least an hour. I used to live in Dublin and delivery was much better with them. Round table is great pizza but horrible with delivery time.

So overpriced for the quality. They used to offer reasonable coupons for their overpriced pizza. They have lost a long time customer as I can get a much better quality pizza at Zach’s for the same (or lower) price. I’m very disappointed Round Table.

The better of the two SR area Round Tables. They have long delivery times, but remember — they aren’t reheating a pizza, they are making one. You go to those fast delivery places and they just reheat a pre baked pizza. Zachary’s may be the best in San Ramon, but sometimes you want something a little different. Something more California Pizza. And that is what RT does best — almost no end crust on a medium crust pizza.

Kids liked the pizza — so we picked up to take out a couple times. Not a lot of ambiance — wife and I had quick lunch once also. It’s OK, but not on our to go list.
