Craig made renting my townhouse pain free. He was extremely responsive and has a ton of resources at his fingertips to have things fixed for my tenant, sometimes within hours. What was extremely impressive is during the sale of my rental Craig continued to be extremely helpful, responsive, and professional in working out the logistics with my realtor and tenant. I would definitely recommend Craig and will use him in the future.

Craig Swenson is the best. We lucked out as first time landlords. he has been so accommodating it is a delight to be a landlord. When he says he has someone to do the work for you, believe him. We have had floors done, paint estimates, house cleaners, all at our fingertips through Craig. They are quick, bonded, no guessing. Don’t think twice about Swenson’s, can’t say enough good stuff.

I utilized Swenson Investors to rent out my condo when I moved in with my fiancée. Craig was extremely professional throughout the entire process. He was prompt to meet me when inspecting the property, offered suggestions for repairs/upgrades, took pics for advertising, completed a full market analysis, suggested an optimal rental rate, and promptly found tenants. Throughout the years the property was rented, Craig kept me informed when there were repairs but otherwise the automated system of receiving my monthly rent payment and statements was very consistent and eliminated any need to stay in constant contact. When I decided to sell my property, Craig was very good about mediating between my realtor and the tenant, and even though he had no real incentive to do anything he was absolutely there to help out and explained the process of making a «clean break» with my tenant and ensuring all parties involved left in good terms. I planned on using Craig to rent out another condo, but we ended up selling that property as well. What I like most about Craig is his honesty and integrity; he offered his opinions about renting versus selling properties, what locations to invest in, etc. I never felt rushed and Craig never made me feel like I was wasting his time when I asked so many questions. I’m quite surprised regarding the two negative reviews, as the complaints the people had(unreliability, not using move in/out procedures) did not occur in my case. Craig called back within 1 business day whenever I left messages, corresponded via email when needed, and also followed standard protocols with my tenants. In fact, I plan on using Swenson Investors with any properties that are within their area of service. As a person that travels constantly, I really depended on Craig and Swenson Investors to manage my property and keep me away from the duties of being a landlord. On all accounts, I was completely satisfied with their service and would refer Swenson Investors without hesitation.

We needed to rent our house out due to a work relocation so we were landlords by necessity not by want. I appreciated the fact that Craig treated us no differently than if we were major investors with mutiple investment properties. His contacts in the industry saved us a lot of money on repairs/replacements to get the house ready to rent and during the rental term. I loved the online visibility into what was happening at the house. We live out of state so being able to access the owner’s reports online and the money showing up automatically in our accounts was a great benefit. The tenants were able to log service requests online as well and all the documentation was available for us to review when the repair bills were paid. It was a great help for us to have Craig manage our property and we will use him again if we ever have a rental property.

In 2009, we had issues with our non-paying tenants and our property management at the time was not easily accessible. I vividly remember that depressing weekend when we needed to hire a new property manager to take over and take care of our issues. There were 3 property management candidates we called that we located from craigslist, and only 1 responded and stepped up to the rescue. That was Craig Swenson! Craig found very interested and influential tenants who for strategic actions were able to evict the non-paying tenants without going thru the eviction process. Rental Dues come directly deposited to our accounts on time. Maintenance services were handled in efficient manners with no complaints from the tenants. Craig has made our lives easy as property owners since then and to this day(Dec 2011). We highly recommend Craig from the Swenson’s Investors to any property owner in the Bay Area, CA needing these property management services.
