What a wonderful little market! I drove by many times but never thought to stop in until this weekend. What a great surprise! Their organic produce quality is noticeably better than the big box stores(even whole foods), they have a great selection(basically everything you need) and good prices. They also have a great selection of breads, pastries and dried goods like nuts, sauces, flours etc. We’ll be sure to frequent family run market often!:)

Not really sure how to rate this place so I’m just going to rate their awesome pie. The pie company pie is sold here and it is so delicious!!! I buy the already baked mixed berry pie for 12.99 no tax. I noticed that many don’t like the crust but I love it. The bottom crust is kind of chewy and surrounding crust is flaky. The filling itself is not too sweet but can still satisfy any sweet tooth. The consistency of the filling is like a smooth, slightly runny jam/jelly. Super delicious. Tastes great cold out of the fridge or microwaved for 30 – 40 seconds with a side of ice cream. Definitely a must try!

Great place to get your produce if you live around the area. I come here almost every Sunday to shop around and always come home happy with my purchases. Very fresh produce for a reasonable price. I will continue coming here every week!

I always like to support local businesses when I can vs going to the big chain markets. But yet again I am discourage with them pushing to be a cash only business. ATM fee $ 1.00. No use of credit card if under $ 10. This is just absurd in this day and age. I tried, but alas I venture over to Safeway close by to do my produce shopping. They didn’t earn my business today and will loose it in the future. All because they try to hustle customers to cover their cost of running a business. Too bad.

This place used to be really good when it came to service and product. However, about a month ago, the quality of the produce has fallen significantly. In addition to that, the service from the staff and the hours of operation have become very erratic. I used to get my produce there twice a week every week for the past year. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like their product will improve and their unreliability(closing early, unfriendly staff) of service has caused me to go elsewhere for my produce.

Great little spot if you are in search of fresher produce. I live less than a mile away and i enjoyed going to Windmill Farms Produce. The prices aren’t super outrageous and as the weeks progress, they discount fruits and veggies that start going bad. This isn’t a bad thing but a good way to get rid of the older stuff. Their vegetable section is very fresh, everything is well laid out and looks as fresh as possible. The folks working there are always rearranging the produce to make sure it looks perfect and it does! The best thing for me is that they have enough Asian veggies like daikon, bokchoy and baby bok choy that it saves me a trip to 99 Ranch. Lastly, this feels like a farmer’s market stand and that’s what I enjoy about it. I’ll continue to go there.

Found Windmill Farms just driving by a few months ago. Nice to see produce stands closer to home. They carry a vast array of veggies and fruit along with some grocery items(salad dressing, nuts etc). I wish they carried more organic veggies though.

Stopped by Windmill Farms this week, 5−15−15, when I noticed that fresh homemade pies were there; I bought two, one cherry and one nectarine. Have not opened the nectarine but we have started on the cherry. The pie is wonderful; thick crust and very tasty filling. The cost per pie was $ 12.99. We had the second pie on Sunday, 5−17−15, the nectarine, and it, too, was very good. Not sweet nor tart but it was just right in taste.

My mom has been coming here since I was a little kid. I have fond memories of looking through the bulk foods and being outside while grocery shopping. It makes me very happy that they have managed to stay in business for at least 25 years. I’ve gone here with my mom a couple of times as an adult who appreciates good food, and still really like the place. They have a great variety of foods and great prices. Not sure I would do a ton of shopping here because I prefer organic foods, but I’m thrilled that they sell local and get people out of Safeway and Albertsons and into real, healthy food.

How long have we been living in this area and not going to this place? Too long! Every time we drove by, we told ourselves we had to come and try it. And then we would forget and go to our usual shopping haunts. Until last weekend. Place was much bigger than expected. Far more produce and even quite a number of usual grocery items. We didn’t quite find everything we would have going to Sprouts, but it was pretty darn close. Including bread, milk, and cheese. Mind you, that there isn’t much choice for those types of items, particularly dairy. And they were definitely pricier than a normal grocery store(they mostly carried organic specialty stuff including raw milk!). But you will more than make up for the cost by not buying items you don’t really need. We walked out with a full week’s grocery supplies of fruit, vegetables, and basics for nearly less than half the amount we spend at Sprouts. Granted, that doesn’t include items like cereal, which they don’t really carry. They also don’t really carry any meat(I didn’t look hard for it though as we are almost meatless). They did have some tofu and similar items in their refrigerated section. Some bulk items, and some higher priced specialty items like fancy jams. I was finally able to buy my fitness bread that I was looking for! Sprouts doesn’t carry this and I couldn’t find it at Safeway last time I looked(although I have seen it there before). Lots of choices for fruits and vegetables, which was to be expected. Andy why we came. A great option for getting fresh produce. A surprisingly decent option for full grocery needs. You won’t find everything, but it works for a week here or there.

AWESOME place for getting juicing supplies! :) I’ve only been here twice but you just can’t go wrong with the pricing. I’m an avid Whole Foods shopper because it’s just so close to my house –_– They have a variety of organic as well as conventional all mixed together. They do have a Organic section inside, in the same section as the wine :) It’s pretty easy to navigate around the store, as far as finding what you need
